Great little place for us as tourists wanting to try something local. Hip, good food, hot coffee. Busy but never felt rushed. Wait staff very helpful. Especially love the little love note wall in the women’s bathroom. You girls know what I’m talking about. ;)

The wait was over 30 minutes for two people. When seated, there was approx 6 open tables available. The food was good, average good. The green juice was my favorite.

First impressions count… Waited for 30 minutes and another 10 min in our booth without drinks or a waiter. I would recommend having less people in the front taking customers and focusing more on helping and clearing the dinning room.

Disappointing! Went there for brunch there was four of us total. My daughter got the eggs Benedict which she orders just about everywhere and was extremely disappointed with the flavorless of it all. My girlfriend ordered the avocado toast and also said it lacked any flavor. Her son ordered the pancakes and I believe he enjoyed them that’s why we gave two stars. I ordered an omelette, spinach ham and avocado. It arrived with no avocado but took around 5 to 10 minutes to find someone for some avocado. It had a fishy flavor. I tried to get through it but at the halfway point he got so fishy it gagged me. Where the fish came from I don’t know? The service was dreadful. My ice tea sat empty until the check came when she asked me if I wanted some more. The youngster had coffee also offered no refill. All in all it was just a lousy experience! Oh yeah! Nobody ever asked us if everything was OK or I would’ve told them!

This is a cute, little brunch place with solid food. I hate reading reviews with a lot of words(i.e. All of my reviews), so I’ll keep this one short. I had the tofu scramble with egg whites and it tasted pretty good. Nothing amazing, but there’s so much you can do with tofu and egg whites… They messed up my order(brought hash browns instead of fruit salad), but our server was quick and brought out my fruit. Breakfast tacos and special enchiladas were reported to be super tasty. Service was pretty good — nothing phenomenal, but they got the job done. One special thing to note: their restrooms. The ladies room was very clean and there was a cute little wishing wall! So, this review turned out to be longer than anticipated, but would I come back here again? Sure, why not. After all, the prices are very reasonable(a few bucks cheaper than other brunch places), and their restrooms are cool.

This restaurant was THEBEST! The pancakes are to die for especially the Hawaiian pancake. The service was good and the food was amazing. You are missing out if you don’t go here.

The biscuits and gravy were pretty solid however once I added the side of sausage patties to go along with it, it turned into unreal good. My brother had omelet and classic mimosa. Felt like the drinks were a bit over priced but the food was excellent. If they lowered the prices just a bit would have been five stars in my book.

Urban Egg is fine, but there are better breakfast spots in town. My fruit wasn’t very ripe(mostly melons…) and the sausage was a little dry. The eggs and toast were great. The best reason to go here is because it is fast to get seated and served.

I really like this place. I’ve only been in twice, but I’ve enjoyed both meals. Avocado toast is so very delicious, and no skimping on the avocado. The melon salad that accompanied it was the perfect side to cut the fatty richness of the avocado. This latest visit, I had the huevos rancheros. I asked for cholula out of habit, but after tasting the green chili and the salsa, I discovered how unnecessary that is. I was surprised(& a little disappointed) to see a small portion of black beans on the plate. …but then I realized they were also between the tortilla and the eggs, as one would expect with huevos. It was so delicious and a great portion size. Can’t wait to visit again!

We have been searching for a new breakfast/brunch place that didn’t have a huge wait time and offered a good selection of gluten free meals suitable for Celiacs, along with being family friendly. We found it. I’ve tried both Benedicts and the Pancakes, and they both were outstanding. There are many options to choose from that are gluten free. The kids menu has good portions and GF offerings also. Our kids stay entertained with their sticker books for much longer than the typical crayon/menu setup. What I appreciate the most is the staff. They are attentive and thorough. Our first visit they were so helpful with our kids, especially during clean up time. The second trip was no different; I left my credit card accidentally and they took great effort and precaution to return it to me.

Had their Steak & Eggs breakfast… top shelf! The black bean and salsa sides were an unexpected and fantastic surprise! Will try to find excuses to get back to this side of town for breakfast again soon!!!

We love this place! I crave the Avocado Toast, and my husband and I both love to share a biscuit with gravy. I don’t usually even think of B&G, but their gravy is so yummy! We have never had a bad meal here, and our servers have always been great. How they do the seating is a little strange though. You will sit there for 10 – 20 minutes, staring at open tables wondering why no one is being seated in more than half the restaraunt, and then sometimes they will call your name and seat you at one of those tables. I don’t get it, but if that’s been my only gripe, I would call that good! They have something for everyone on the menu, I love taking the whole fam.

They have coffee while you wait for a table, and a beautifully displayed water dispenser. I like the bar, as Jeremy is consistent with his attitude and service. Very friendly place with a low stress breakfast vibe. They do catering too. We tried the special. Chicken fried chicken, and I think he called the dish the harvest pancake. It was a tough choice as I really wanted the Tatum avocado toast again. I have never ordered a pancake but I thought I would see what both of their specials were. My pancake was not too sweet, not soggy and had a fall sweet potatoe topping with a yummy oatmeal carmalized topping. It was excellent. The chicken fried chick cleaned the plate by itself. I love how«clean» they are, with their food, coffee, and eating space. Next time I am having the huevos rancheros!

I thought the breakfast was good and the cucumber lemonade was delicious. Came here for breakfast with a large group on a busy Sunday morning and they got us in pretty quick and the service was great. Can’t remember the name of my dish but it included a piece of delicious toast with mashed avocado and an egg on top with hash browns. It was delish!

I loved this little place! Everyone is very accommodating and friendly. I ordered the Classic Benedict and it was perfect. Couple that with the make your own Bloody Mary bar and I had the best brunch in town going on. It’s interesting that it’s an egg place during the day and presto change it’s a Mexican place at night by the name of Salsa Brava. If the Mexican food is as good as my Benedict I’m heading back for some enchiladas. They also have a pretty amazing juice bar, with lots of organic and gluten free options.

So I have to say based on reviews I had expected much better. I was thrilled to find out that it was the same owner as over easy and sofa Brava that my husband and I frequent in the springs but honestly the similarities ended there. We were promptly greeted by a hostess though after saying one and a half and the fact that I was holding a baby, she never offered a high chair so I had to ask for one. The one that was brought to me first was visibly dirty and had crusty food on it and the buckle was broken so I requested another one which was better but I did have to wipe it down, kind of gross. She’s at me right at the first small table kind of in the center of all foot traffic and a bit difficult to set up with a baby in a high chair… And I honestly felt like I was in the way every time someone tried to squeeze by. The server Samantha was incredibly friendly and very polite and I inquired if it was the same owners as over easy as I noticed the logo and menu with almost exactly the same. She tried it with me a bit and complimented the baby. Again very nice and prompt service. However my meal number one, was brought out by maybe someone on Expo or maybe a Cook wearing very greasy black rubber gloves and he placed the meal in front of the baby… Seriously are you kidding me? I quickly fumbled around to move it and made a sarcastic joke. I had requested my hash browns and turkey bacon extra crispy which neither was and my over medium eggs were slimy and barely over easy. The meal lacked any seasoning and it was quite greasy. I did enjoy the gluten free pancake and it’s one reason that I frequent their other breakfast locations. I did make a comment about the eggs and the money was deducted off the bill which I did appreciate I would have just rather enjoyed the meal made correctly in the first place. The last thing though to put the nail in the coffin is the fact that they don’t have a changing station in the bathroom for babies. Seriously!!! You’re in Highlands Ranch! I would probably just give it two or two and a half if it was available but I was very impressed by Samantha. Great service… Pretty bland food. Safe to say I wouldn’t visit this location again!

Really good. Wife and I stopped in en route to USAFA in the Springs, just looking for a new breakfast experience. Urban Egg didn’t disappoint. We’re not super picky foodies but we can certainly discern an average breakfast from a great one. This was certainly the latter. Our server, Terri, was great. We followed her advice for the Avocado toast and Huevos Rancheros. Coffee is strong, but not bitter. Ingredients are really high quality. Green chili is legit. Great spot in Highlands Ranch.

I’m so excited this place is so close to my home. I love the breakfast options here. I got the avocado toast and my friend got the biscuits and gravy. While I do believe Denver Biscuit Co. has the best gravy around this place is definitely a close second! My toast came with a perfectly poached egg and a beautiful beet salad! I’m thrilled to have such a great breakfast option so close to home. We did try a blueberry pancake and it seemed pretty on par with Snooze(for pancake fans). Good coffee, great service and great food, what’s not to like?

Eggery with a Mexican flair by day, top notch Mexican at night! Urban Egg, A Daytime Eatery is now our go-to for Sunday morning breakfast. Of course, the rest of Highlands Ranch agrees. Figure a 15 – 20 minute wait, or snag a couple of spaces at the bar. Urban Egg is the sister project of Salsa Brava, our favorite Mexican outlet in the south suburbs. The concept is to co-locate the two, but have separate opening hours, AND entrances. The breakfast choices run the gamut of Pancakes, Eggs Benedict(Chilaquiles are a must), and a wide range of egg dishes. Linda especially enjoyed the Avocado Toast. Prices are a bit higher than others due to their desire to source locally, organic and fair trade where possible. Urban Egg is a must!
