I’m sorry to inform everyone, but the Beef Eater is closed. There is a sign on the door that thanks patrons for their many years in business.

After reading many good reviews about this place we were finally gonna try it… UNTIL we got there and they were CLOSED. There was a sign on the door that said they were closed and thanking the customers for their business through-out the years. Boohoo, we never got to try it! What happened to this place?!

This was our first time here and what a great choice it turned out to be. After a nice day at the beach we wanted a good dinner at a reasonable price. We had heard about this place from a friend and gave it a shot. We started with a cheese and sausage dish for our appetizer an it was delicious. Highly recommended. We then ordered an entire skirt steak for two and it was cooked perfect and tasted amazing, especially that this place had the best chimichurri sauce I have ever tasted. Last was the Crêpe flamed with rum. Ended the night very well. I highly, highly encourage people to try this place out.

Steak lovers rejoice! Beefeater steps up the Argentinian churrasqueria a couple notches, bringing the best lunch specials this side of Hollywood. I stumbled upon this delicious steak house while on a lunch break with a couple of coworkers. This small restaurant is located on a street much like Miracle Mile in the gables. Surrounded by countless restaurants, this place really stands out from the rest. For 7 bucks you get a salad or soup,(you must try the asparagus soup), your choice of a churrasco with a side or if you’re not in the steak mood, they also have a list of pastas for 7 bucks as well. I opted for the churrasco medium well and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. One of the most delicious lunch meals I have ever had in my lifetime. The cherry on the cake is the chimichurri, which I happen to think is the best of its kind. Drizzle it all over that piece of steak and get ready for a mouthful of fun. If you’re looking for more bang for your buck, Beefeater is where it’s at.

I come here with my family all the time. We usually bring friends and other family members when they are visiting. The skirt steak, «entrana»(medium-well– it’s a very fat cut), is one of the best I’ve had. The fries are sooo good! Ask for a side of «Russian Salad»(Argentinian potato salad, I guess), put some salt and olive oil on top, and it’s perfect! Argentinians tend to have«beef» with Brazilians(pun intended) but the people at this place are extremely nice! I think the owner or his sons are always there managing, so great service guaranteed! I’ve only had it at a few other places, but their chimichurri is the best I’ve had, too.

Took my kids here for a night out on the town on Saturday. The service was great, the street that the place is on is awesome(with all of the cool places to walk by, and visit), and on cool days, I’d definitely recommend sitting outside and eating there. First off, the bread dipped into the chimichurri sauce is wonderful. I ordered the flank steak, my son had the filet, and my daughter had the parm crusted steak. All of the meals were wonderful, but I thought that my daughter’s was the most tastiest. Mine and my son’s steak were cooked exactly as ordered and to perfection, but the real taste comes in when you add the chimichurri sauce to the steak. It pops and the flavors come to life afterward. I’d definitely come back here both with the kids and/or friends. And for adults, the added benefits is all of the cool bars on the same street.

One of the many local eateries in downtown Hollywood, FL. Nothing fancy about this place, and the food was quite simple as well. Started our course with hearts of palm with a Russian-like dressing, and it was ok. I got a salmon filet(blasphemous! but I wasn’t hungry to eat a steak), which was cooked nicely. But it lacked a bit of sauce though. My friend got the sirloin, and he thought it was good and cooked nicely. Perhaps I should have opt for a steak at a steak house.

Blood sausage and sweetbreads? Sweetbreads and blood sausage? This place is awesome! Service is great, prices are decent(considering the delicacies on the menu), the warm bread with the sour-garlicky sauce tastes heavenly, and service is good.

Argentine steakhouse located on hollywood blvd on the east end. I went with my roommate on a monday afternoon and we were in luck. They had lunch specials M-F starting at 11:30 to i think 2! $ 7.25 can get you soup/salad, entrée, side item. A HELL of a deal. Me and my roommate of course ordered the churrasco steak. I also got the house salad(which came with no dressing), and french fries. On all the tables is their homemade chimchurri sauce and yes its as good as everyone says it is. Tangy, garlicy goodness. I used the chimcurri sauce as my dip for bread, salad dressing, as well as my steak topping. The size of the steak is a little on the small side, but for $ 7.25 definitely not complaining. If you eat all the sides and salad you will be satisfied at the end of your meal. There are other entrees available for this lunch special, but once i read churrasco(the 1st item listed) i already knew what i wanted and didnt look at the others. Will definately be coming here for Lunch again. Overall: 4 star food; 5 star price; 3 star wait staff PS: parking is on the streets at 1 dollar an hour. You only need an hour to park(we had 15 – 20 min to spare after our meal was done and we took our time)

I’m not normally a steak person, but this place quickly changed that. The cuts of beef served here are bar none some of the best I have ever seen. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the prices are very cheap for what you get. Trust me when I tell you this, you will not leave this place hungry. The only reason not to enjoy eating here is if you are a vegetarian, or looking for a unique menu. The restaurant is also in a great location. If you are in the Hollywood area, swing by and check it out.

I was in downtown Hollywood on a Monday night, it was 10 pm and i was starving because I had not eaten dinner yet. Thankfully, we happened to see that Beef Eater was open until 11 pm. I had heard from several friends that it was good and reasonably priced, so my girlfriend and I stopped in. It’s right on the main strip of downtown Hollywood. First thing we ate was the basket of bread that came with their delicious chimichurri sauce. Looking at the other reviews, I second the person that said it is «to die for» but to watch out. I’ll explain that in a minute. For my entrée, I was craving a steak and asked the waitress for a recommendation. She said the best steak in the house is the ribeye, which was on special for $ 21.95. This is a bit more expensive than the other steaks on the menu. You can get a skirt steak for around $ 15, and I would like to try that next time. However, my ribeye was cooked medium just the way I requested, charred on outside, pink on the inside. It was really juicy and tasted great. It did have a decent amount of fat on it, but the waitress warned me and, hey it’s a ribeye, so that was not unexpected. I thought the steak was fantastic. I ordered a baked potato with it and thought it was kind of a small potato to serve with a $ 22 steak, but I digress. The steak was good, and that was all I cared about at this point. My girlfriend was not that hungry so she ordered 4 of the«Gaucho pies»($ 1.95 apiece) which they might as well just call empanadas, because that’s what they are. She got 2 «meat»(beef) and 2 chicken ones. She was only able to eat 3 of them, so I gladly helped with the other one. They were decent, but a little dry and needed some kind of sauce or something, so I tried the chimichurri sauce on them. That was a good call. The only problem with that is, the sauce has a ton of garlic in it. When we got home, we both brushed and rinsed with some strong mouthwash. Even after that, we both had a strong garlic odor that seemed to not go away for awhile. So be warned. It’s good, but accept the fact that you will have garlic breath for a few hours. In summary, I thought Beef Eater was a good choice for a steak and will definitely return soon, hopefully to try some of the other stuff on the menu.

I’ve been to this meat-lovers establishment a few times and believe me, if you love beef at an affordable price, then this is the place for you! We had the Gauchos grill, which consists of churrasco, ribs and sausage for $ 15. It also comes with a side of potatoes and bread with chimichurri sauce. The meats were tender and flavorful; no need for sauces to give it a kick. Their wine list is also pretty extensive. We had a bottle of red wine from Argentina. All in all, a nice, small establishment that offers plenty of meat and a great price!

Definitely a place for meatatarians(like my boyfriend) to get their fill of steak. It’s a tight squeeze inside, but the atmosphere is very welcoming and perect for groups. Figuring I’d try a little bit of everything, I went with the Gaucho’s Grill Dish that gives you the option to try 3 different entrees. The churrasco was definitely my favorite. I ordered it medium well and the outside was perfectly charred and crispy — just how I like it. The chicken was a nice surprise because it was incredibly moist and juicy. We also ordered the half carafe of sangria, a perfect compliment to the overabundance of meat we consumed that night. Considering the prices, attentive service, and quality of food, it’s definitely a place we’ll be adding to our regular rotation.

When I have the desire to consume cow I come directly here. What most strikes me about this place, and I’ll be honest, is the bang you get for your buck. The quality of beef is great for the prices being charged. This is why, I believe, this establishment always has a crowd — at lunch and dinner alike! I am not a fan of neither the«Outbacks» nor the«Longhorns» nor these Brazilian steakhouses where the meat comes skewered onto a sword. Additionally, I am not a fan of overly priced beef that you find in other upscale restaurants around town. That’s why I really like this place… it’s straight to the point and the price is right! You can never go wrong with their churrasco. I also recommend the Argentinean beer Quilmes to wash that churrasco down! The heart of palm salad is good too! Sit outside to watch the crowd stroll by! Great location!

I love beef… my Argentinean friend always told me to try any dish. So I tried this place. Great wine!!! Great food for decent price. It is only 4.7 miles from Aventura, so it is convenient for me to drive(or even dare to take bus) to get there… I like the atmosphere of beefeater as well. Argentina wine. if you like wine, you must try theirs. I always drink Cali wine(those from Sonoma county area) but theirs are as good as(perhaps some of them better) wine I get from Cali. good wine, good beef for good price… will def. recommend this place!!!

Their chimichurri sauce is super tangy and tasty. They told me it’s made with parsley, white vinegar, oil and garlic. The bread didn’t seem traditional but it was still good to dip in the sauce. the filling in the beef«gaucho» pie had olives mixed in it which was unique and it was spiced well. Sopresetta was just like a normal salami type deli meat and the cheese that came with it was strong but good. Servers were very good. Sweetbread(it’s not really bread!) was very tasty but there was so much of it that some of it got cold and it tastes better warm. Sangria was too tangy for me, it was either very fermented or had some type of soda bubble water mixed in, otherwise I liked it.

Beef Eater definitely has a «village steak house» feel to it. This is a great place, demonstrated by it being completely packed at 11pm. Our wait wasn’t long, but they offer a complimentary glass of(house) wine while waiting. The House wine is fine, but the wines they offer are excellent for a reasonable price. We had an interesting Argentinian Pinot Noir, which was spicy and very fruity for a pinot. We also had a blend of Malbec, Cabernet, and Merlot, which was excellent, as well. As the other reviews stated, the skirt steak(churrasca) is great. But do yourself a favor and try something else. I recommend the Gaucho plate, which gives you three choices among the meats offered. The blood sausage was fantastic, and the sweetbreads… interesting and chewy.

A friend of mine has been telling me about this place for a while now. He thinks the steaks are great and loves the whole vibe of the place. I thought the meal was pretty good. I had the Picanha, which was the one the specials of the day and was satisfied. I wasn’t blown away but that might of been because I was expecting the«greatest steak in the world» as my buddy calls it. (I know that as a Unilocaler we need to go out and eat and shop at places to be able to provide great reviews for all but you can’t argue that no one cooks like mom and dad do. I know it is probably because i grew up with it but my dads churrasco and top sirloins are and always will be the BEST) The prices are really good which means it was cheap. The sides were nothing special — white rice, fries, mashed pats. The service was ok, I don’t want to sound like a nit-picker but I never got a refill on my water and they should try different glasses as well. The yellow glasses the use make your water look dirty… Im just sayin’ The location is really nice… right on the lively downtown hollywood so once ur done eating you can enjoy a nice stroll around the park and surrounding area. I really wanted to check out the PRL place next door with the«best beer selection in broward» but was much to full. The desert that my buddies wife got was really interesting It was a crêpe with dulce de leche and rum that is flambed — I wish I hadn’t eaten such a big steak ’cause that was probably the tastiest item I tried If you want to have a good meal in a pretty cool setting and area. check this place out. For all you Miami Unilocalers, check out Hollywood It’s nice
