So people aren’t confused when reading earlier reviews. Which from when I read the business owner or management always has an excuse for bad service or its a «bad night». I had a dull experience here. My husband and I were in Houston already so we made the trip here. Otherwise never would have come. Glad I didn’t make a special trip just to try this place out. I live in clear lake and we have so many hookah bars that have better tobacco and livelier atmosphere. We visit Aladdin on Friday or Saturday. It’s dead. Just two other parties. It was sad actually. They have a dance floor and lights flashing with awful dubsteb playing or something like that. I was expecting it to be a trip to the middle east for some reason… more like some guys basement sitting on old uncomfortable couches listening bad music. The flavors were so bizarre. They are premixed. I like individual flavors and you can mix how you like. The cost was pricey. Our server was informative and friendly at least. I ordered food. Can’t exactly recall the name but was a beef dish and it was pretty good. I was just uncomfortable. Like it was so dead I was afraid to talk. The owner can defend this place all he wants but Ill help you see the light… this place is not worth your money or time. Major dud.

Weak tea and they seriously can not mix hookah… at all. Wish it was better, but it wasn’t worth the drive.

In response to the owner’s comment to my post. It appears he failed to realize, I did not witness any physical altercation between him and these guys. Therefore, clearly(well, obviously not to the owner), I am writing this from my experience and how I was treated. Not what occurred between anyone else. I was quiet the whole night. I did not cause a disturbance. I did not konw the guy that threw the microphone. Did not even know his name. Also, I had been in here the previous Friday and the owner kept telling us to come back. As far as the DJ and his father, that had nothing to do with me. I did not know the guy that did it. As well, I know how to carry myself with class. And obviously knew more about the law than the owner did when he tried to FORCE us to pay for the mic and refused to call the police… rather, tried to pull an ILLEGAL stunt. Nor was I even anywhere close to said gentleman when it happend. And as far as trying to get said phone back via my comment, I don’t particularly see this as a «lost» ad website. But, again, only from my perspective. It also appears he is not denying his drunken rage outside towards my friends and I as one of us was attempting to get his phone back. In conclusion, again, I wrote this review from MY perspective and MY perspective only. I cannot write about heresay which may or may not be exaggerated from the real truth. Also, I have never seen such poor representation of a place of business as this. In my past 6 years of working in bars, I have never worked somewhere that the owner becomes so heavily intoxicated he feels the need to burst out in rage and carry themself in such a poor manner.

*I am not crazy after all, thanks Kamal! I was here last night(May 22, 2012) with my girlfriend and 3 other friends, for our very first time(except two guys) We waited downstairs to be seated for a while, not knowing how this place works. Stared at that O2 bar and it looks awesome! Walked up stairs to see if anyone around was working and did not see anyone else beside a few other customers, lounging around. The place looks pretty chilled. Was not as nice as the other Hookah lounges, it had like a quinceanera theme to it, or maybe someone recently had theirs. So anyway we walked back down stairs and finally ran into somebody. An American woman with a really low, monotone voice, gave us this awkward look like she is anti-social or something. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was a 10 being the awkwardest moment ever! She did not greet us, she just simply stated that she is the manager. My friend was looking through something that looked like a menu, and the second words coming out of the manager was, «That is not the menu!»(I was already getting a bad impression, but I was still a gentleman about it) Sat us down and only gave us 2 menus, one for food and the other for hookah. There were 5 of us, she could have been more considerate and given us more menus, but that was no big deal. She would give us short-answers, even with open-ended ones. My buddy asked her about the food and hookah flavors, which one she would recommend to us, and she responded with, «depends.» She was very, very rude to us the whole night. She did list out the most popular flavors after my girlfriend asked, but when we asked what did certain flavors taste like, she responded«Just like the name». Really? She gave us the impression that she did not want us here. We ordered one hookah with one tube($ 13), but she then said, «One tube for the five of y’all?» She said there were too many of us to smoking out of one tube, so we had to get hookah with two tubes.(don’t know how the head count works for each tube, but she asked in a way that it would make us feel dumb) Finally brought out the hookah after 30 minutes(I don’t know how long it normally takes, but it was close to being dead) and she only gave us two mouth pieces. Once again she could have been more considerate since there were 5 of us smoking. I asked for more mouth pieces and she kind of poked fun(but you can tell she was trying to make me look stupid) of me and asked if I was a germaphobe, but she later came back with some more and said to me that she was just«playing». My girlfriend asked for water and she said it’s a $ 1, assuming it was a bottled water, but *she came back with a glass of water, literally with 3 ice cubes. We all looked at each other. Since when did people charge for a glass of «filtered» water, and charge another $ 1 for a refill? The water was not filtered by the way, it was definitely tap water, you can even smell the tap water. You would think it would be cold, but it was pretty warm. We thought about ordering food, but we were too afraid she might do something to it.(yeah, that’s how bad it was) So we decided it was time to check out and leave. As we were paying, she went on about her husband upstairs flirting with other women and how she is the only one here working at the time. I guess she was explaining herself why her customer service was horrible, but last time I checked customer service is a number 1 priority. You do indeed want your customers leaving happy and keep ‘em coming back! But I don’t run my own business, so I wouldn’t know a thing or two. I left unsatisfied, customer service was absolutely horrible. I have never dealt with a rude«manager» or ever had any problems anywhere else. I’m that guy that would like to come back as often, but I will not come back here. Maybe when they get a new management or something, but until then, never. *On a side note, this is only my personal opinion and experience. If you ever thought about checking this venue out, by all means go for it! Don’t let my review bring you down. This place definitely has mad potential with the right network. Oh! And to Fadhil, I think we both know those filtered reviews aren’t from legitimate customers and I THINK they were filtered for a reason. They were either paid reviewers or… Nevermind, I won’t get into. Look at the dates when they were all posted, notice anything? And their profiles, they have no more than just 1 review and that one and only review they do have it is for this venue. I guess as a business owner, I would probably do the same, minus the bs and actually review my business from a customer’s perspective. Anyway, what do I know right? I don’t run my own business. You’ve been lawyer’d.

This was the worst hookah lounge I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I saw the ratings on Unilocal and thought maybe I should give it a try. the settings were really nice. but the customer service and hookah were both HORRIBLE. I went with three of my friends, and we got 4 hookahs. ¾ hookahs were not working, and when we asked for help, the waitress(some american lady with a really low voice) came and checked it out and said she fixed it. but she did not fix it because there was still no smoke coming out… if you are gonna open a hookah place, at least know how to work a hookah. we had ordered food as well… after she«fixed» our hookah, she did not come back for another half an hour(we were the only ones in the whole restaurant. it was NOT crowded) to tell us that we will have to wait another ten minutes for our food… by this time, we were all really frustrated, so we asked her if we can talk to the manager because the hookahs were not working and she was not being helpful. so she told us that she was the manager(which i think is a big lie, because she couldn’t even stand up for herself plus she acted so scared like we were aliens or something)…so then she told us we can have a discount, but we didn’t think we should even be paying for the three hookahs that did not even work… but after arguing with the lady for a bit, we decided to just pay for the hookah and leave, because we didn’t know what they would put in our foods. So we just came downstairs(this was more than an hour after we were there) and paid the bill, which came out to be $ 45+(4 hookahs, 3 cranberry juice, and a water).and we just left. after that we went to sinbad since we figured every other place would be crowded by that time(it was already 8 pm on saturday 2/4/12.and we were the only ones there).and i had to say, sinbad is at least 10X better than this place. this place was just hell… and I’m pretty sure aladdin’s owners are gonna filter this comment, just like they did with the other three comments, but i have my way of getting people to know how bad of a place this is… I will never go back to this place again.

Decent hookah and look. Quite possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced though. Very slow and they gave my group a hard time because we asked for another hookah. Apparently they had an issue with getting more money from us. Will not be going back, but it was worth a shot.
