I really liked this place at first… they seemed to care by recording brand names and everything on receipts. I don’t know why they bother. They are deplorable asshats who will ruin your clothing, accuse you of lying about date of purchase and condition of clothing, and attempt to steal from you. You know, in hindsight, they turned away anything with zippers or the slightest embellishments too. No leather… I think they knew all along they provided a terrible«service». They belong down in the depths with Comcast. Consider yourself warned.

I dropped off a suit and standard size winter coat and very unhappy about the whole experience. I will never go back to this establishment. First, the charged me $ 29 for the three items. They said the coat cost $ 15 alone… Secondly, my suit had a white stain mark which almost looked like dry soap of some sort. I washed this off myself. Third, The ironed my lapel incorrectly. I had to re iron it to make it look normal again. Forth, I had 3 juice stains in the same area of the coat small then a dime that they could not get out. When I originally brought the coat back the young girl at the counter did not say sorry and told me that I am suppose to bring it back within 24 hours… It was right after christmas and I brought it back 2 days later… and… guess what? They still didnt get it out after cleaning it a second time. All I was told was they tried… Thats it. I’m completely fine with paying for dry cleaning but with the attitude of the employee/owners I will never go back and recommend you using someone else.

Astro Cleaners is the Worst business I have ever dealt with!!! The past several weeks several of our clothes have come back wrinkled, stained, and ruined. They then said they would fix, got them back and they looked the exact same and we were charged again for the same clothes. So here’s the worst part, they’re «policy» that I’ve never seen, says they only pay for half the cost of the item ruined, and then they offered to credit us the items they double charged us and offered our next dry cleaning for free. Two employees confirmed this. I asked to speak with management to confirm but they are never there and don’t allow any means of contacting them. Well I just got a call from one of the employees saying she was wrong and we would have to pay after all bc there had been miscommunication between her and the manager… Not my problem. Especially after I double checked what they were doing to reimburse us. This company is UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL. They don’t care about the quality of customers clothes or their time and money.

This cleaner keeps changing ownership. Most recent iteration is not very good. They’ve managed to shred the sleeves of two dress shirts and return pants sans its waste button once. The last time I went in to pick up laundry mid-morning the woman did not have change for a $ 20.00. Lastly, I come in on San Felipe from the West. It is difficult to negotiate the traffic to get into the store; so I only want to make the trip once. I do not want to learn I cannot pick my laundry because a commercial establishment in Houston, Texas does not maintain sufficient cash on hand to accept a $ 20.00 bill.
