Pretty great little establishment hidden on the west side of town in a little strip mall. Don’t blink while driving down Westheimer or you’ll miss it. I bought a Daily Deal for this place even though there were no reviews out there to tell me whether it was worth it or not. I judged it by it’s name and I was not disappointed one bit! To prepare for my dinner outing, I looked up their menu online. I was all ready with my entrée choice, but when I walked in and they handed me their menu in person, my choice wasn’t listed on there. So I had to adjust last minute.(Originally I think I had my heart set on a grilled chicken with fingerling potatoes and vegetables but I ended up settling for pan seared salmon with fingerling potatoes and vegetables. Technically, the second one was probably healthier anyway so I didn’t mind too much.) My boyfriend went for the French Country sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I kid you not, they gave him half a loaf of French bread total for that sandwich. You know that huge loaf that’s right next to you when you’re in line to check out at HEB? The one that smells delicious and the bread is nice and soft with a little crunch in the crust? That kind of bread. Cut down the middle and in half with meat and avocado in the middle. And toasted a little. Heavenly. We also ordered the Truffle Fries per my request. I loved the twist on the classic French fries by putting some parmesan cheese on top of them. They had a pretty short list of appetizers(but most places do, too). The soup and salad list probably had another 6 – 8 items total too. The sandwich list was a whole page long and if they use that amazing French bread on all of them, you probably can’t go wrong with any of their sandwich choices either. The entrée list only had 6 – 8 items. I didn’t get a good look at their dessert menu. And their drink menu on the back was quite extensive too. No, not alcoholic drinks… They had frappuccinos, juices, and I think smoothies? Or milkshakes? I don’t remember because I was fascinated with them having frappuccinos and I’d never heard of any other place serving that beside Starbucks. Overall, I’d definitely go back for another meal. Our total bill for the appetizer, sandwich and salmon entrée was $ 28.97. Only reason they lost one point is because I had gone in wanting the chicken entrée and it wasn’t on their actual menu. Hopefully they add more items to the entrée list soon.
