I find the burgers are pricey but then you get what you pay for. The burgers never disappoints. Fries only 3 people can finish. yea… the good life

I love the burgers and would give this place a 5 star rating but this location is very filthy compared to other locations I go to. I am a regular but the way the sanitation of the store has been lately I will most likely be driving further out to get my five guys burger fix. No only are tables always dirty and floors disgusting in the dining area and restrooms but the last time I went in it just planned smelled very disgusting. Don’t know if they have been short staffed for the holiday season but the clear lake location is superior when it comes to cleanliness.

Best fries ever. All other fries don’t stand a chance. I’ve been here multiple times JUST for their fries. Their burgers are good too but nothing to rave about.

I really enjoy the old school greasy burger I can get at this place. Nothing fancy, just a great consistently good juicy burger. You cannot get tired of this place. The fries are also great. All freshly made in front of your eyes. Cannot go wrong with that!

I love 5 Guys Burgers and fries. The only thing that could be better is their soft drink service. I am not sure why, but the last several times we went in one of the soft drink dispensers was not working. The food is fabulous!!!

Good old fashioned burgers and Cajun fries make for a yummy lunch. Atmosphere — nice but the floor was a bit sticky Food — freshly cooked to order burgers and fries. I wish they offered milkshakes. Value — a little on the pricey side for a burger and fries but the taste was good.

Why is this a thriving franchise? And complimentary peanuts? No chicken. No milk shakes. No ranch dressing nor substitute. Clean. Nice staff. Ample seating. I’d never gone here on my own, though my church group had made the selection. Burgers are tiny tiny. Meat is in there somewhere. At least I think it was. Little to no flavor. No pizzazz whatsoever. Fries even more dull… Not sure what the hype is about. I was super hungry when we arrived and remained so after we left… I’d not recommend this place. If my church peeps want to return, I’ll grab something at Ghengis Grill, next door, and meet them there.

I honestly don’t know why this place has such a bad review? Yes, the burgers here aren’t the best I’ve had but they definitely are A LOT better than most«fast food» restaurants. The service is a little slow but it’s definitely worth it! I only wish that they had milkshakes or other sweets but it’s the same at every five guys.

Worst experience ever in a restaurant. :/ Service was the worst since the moment we ordered. The cashier Jaqueline G. had an attitude. Don’t change your mind on what you want because she will get upset. I asked her if she was ok because she look upset and she said no because I told her one thing before.

Burgers are so good but I can never finish the normal size. If you think it’s too big I recommend getting the little cheeseburger. The hotdogs are also good because you can put all sorts of toppings on them such as tomatoes, lettuce, onions, etc. The fries might be a little excessive but I’m not a French fries fan… This place also has the new coke machines where you can make your own soda with hundreds of different combinations. You don’t see those everywhere yet. Make sure to eat burgers there because if you take away and they get cold they’re not quite as good.

If you’re craving a homemade burger but you don’t have time to bring out the grill, five guys burgers are just as good if not better! From homemade patties, to homemade cut fries, their food taste delicious and savory! Plus you can add a variety of toppings like jalapeños, mushrooms, bacon, and even an extra patty. The restaurants are always so clean and the service is great!

Five stars for 5 guys! Best burger from any burger chain or franchise you will ever eat in your life! You have a variety of fresh and grilled toppings that you can add at no cost. The fries on peanut oil are fresh never frozen just like the meat. What are you waiting for?!

Decent food and service. The establishment can do better with keeping the place clean. My sister and I ordered the following items: Veggie sandwich(2⁄5) — Fresh but lacked a lot of flavor. Large Cajun fries(3⁄5) — Served hot and fresh. The seasoning was A-OK. For large, they give you A LOT of fries. It was kind of scary. Little Five guys style fries(4⁄5) — Served hot and fresh. I enjoyed these fries more than the cajun style. Little fries(size) they gave us a whole bag full of fries. It was just too much for a size small. Cheese burger(3⁄5) — Meh. The lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions were fresh. However, the grilled onions made the bun soggy. It was good but I definitely had better. For the amount you pay, they give you a lot of food. Overall, it was nice to give this place a try for the first time. I’m not too sure if I will be back any time soon.

I don’t cook. No. Really. I just don’t. So we were driving home from a super busy outdoor day and the boys and I were hungry. And so began the usual discussion of where should we eat. I listened as everyone rattled off places to eat. We were somewhat limited because everyone was barefoot and/or muddy(we had participated in an obstacle-type race), so we needed someplace we could just drive through, or run in, and pick up food. Well, I’m not usually a fan of fast food, so when the boys suggested Five Guys, I agreed. I guess I prefer a little higher quality. Anyway, we went inside, and it was pretty quiet for a Saturday evening, so we walked right up and placed our orders. The boys got the«little» cheeseburgers, boyfriend got a regular cheeseburger, and I got a fully loaded hot dog. Man, that thing was tasty. I put grilled mushrooms and onions on it, as well as jalapenos, mustard, pickles. And we ordered a large order of cajun fries. Just a few minutes of waiting and we had two bags of delicious food ready to travel home with us. The smell of the fries was torturous the whole drive home. And when they say«large» fries, they mean LARGE fries! There was enough for the 4 of us to eat some, and we still had about half of it left over. Maybe we were all super hungry from all the exertion, but the boys could seriously not stop raving about how delicious their burgers were. And my hot dog was fantastic! I was definitely a little disappointed when I finished it. But then I got to keep eating the yummy fries, and my disappointment dissipated. :)

Ground beef. It’s the soul of the burger. Transforming a slab of meat into the ground version presents a bit of a challenge. The microbes that make us sick live and multiply on the surface of the meat, so when you grind it, you in effect create thousands of little surfaces. But fortunately, after the discovery of fire, we’ve applied it successfully not only to make food healthier, but tastier as well. That’s why burgers should be done to a higher temperature than steak. It’s pretty standard to cook them medium well unless you request it. That’s why I was disappointed to find my Five Guys burgers done medium, with bits of medium rare, and bits of medium well. That kind of inconsistency within a single patty is not the hallmark of a good burger. In this instance, takeout is a losing strategy. I liked the little bit I did eat, though. Melty cheese throughout(placed in the center), grilled mushrooms, onion, tomato, pickle. The bacon paper was interesting… I never realized you could slice it that thin. Meh, there are better burgers around.
