This is my favorite Chinese take-out in the area. The place looks super rundown but the food is always delicious.

Food is decent and cheap. Exactly what we expected from the looks of the place. They obviously do a ton of delivery as the drivers were flying in and out on the regular. The building, inside and out needs a ton of help but the service was great and the food worth coming back for. We ordered the sesame chicken(white meat) and sesame beef. The beef was far better than the chicken. Also, the beef was not on the lunch/dinner special so the portion was twice the size of the chicken. Asked for more fried rice and was given it without an additional charge. Definitely appreciated. Also ordered a Diet Coke. The first one came with a 20oz bottle and when I finished I expected to be charged for a second bottle and they did not. Free refills which wasn’t expected. Pan fried dumplings were good to. They tasted like they were from frozen and not fresh but they were still good with the ginger sauce. Really wanted to give 4 stars but all in all it was just good, not excellent. We will come back on nights like this when the other neighborhood Chinese food joints are closed.

Ordered delivery twice, can’t comment on the actual restaurant. Delivery is always fast and food is hot! The wonton soup and egg rolls are great! Large menu, tons of options.

We order from here on a regular basis and they have definitely made some changes and not in a good way! Before posting this review, I ordered one more time, same meal thinking they might just be having an off night. The hot and sour soup was a favorite of ours. It is now watered down and has particles in it, no real substance. We order the Lo Mein, rice noodle on a regular basis. Now the noodles are in a congealed pile and the vegetables and meat just poured around it. The noodles are like eating mush and tightly packed together. Disgusting! I tried to just eat the meat around it and had to spit the pork out of my mouth immediately! I know ITWASBADMEAT! The chicken had an acidic taste. I’m truly concerned they are going to make people sick. New chef, new owners I don’t know, it’s not the same!!!

Okay so let’s just say that the food is AMAZING& was super fresh and hot when they delivered it to me! I ordered online and it took about 35 minutes to bring it to my house and it was storming outside. I ordered the beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice, and garlic shrimp and they gave me complementary egg rolls as well. I ordered on the lunch special and for all of that it was 20.00 before tax and the delivery fee. After all of that it came out to be 24.00. The chicken fried rice was amazing and in every bite was a good piece of chicken, tender too. The beef and broccoli was delicious and the beef was not tough at all(like a lot of Chinese restaurants). The broccoli was good & seasoned well. The garlic shrimp was delicious and the shrimps were big, nicely seasoned, and the garlic sauce was delicious as well. I recommend this place to anyone that wants GOODCHEAP but tasteful Chinese food.

I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was full of chicken. That’s how it’s made, apparently. If you’re a vegetarian, it’s probably wise to cross this place off the list of dining choices.

I had to give one star because it would not allow me to give negative stars or no stars. General tso’s chicken: mediocre and below average. MAINPROBLEM: Fried Shrimp Was not even cooked all the way through and batter was in old fried oil. MUSHY on the inside and batter still moist. More disgusting then I could imagine. Bad enough to where I didn’t eat the rest of my food… hoping I can add a picture to this, of the shrimp. Also cheese crab(6) was burnt. Disappointing dinner

This was by far, the most putrid Asian food I have ever ordered! The person who took my order was rude and obnoxious! I will never order from them again!

I actually like the food. I’ve been here a couple times with friends. The ambiance is not so great and the service is ok at best. If you want some tasty dishes that are rather inexpensive this is the place.

I grab food from here about every other month for my quick and cheap American Chinese fix! The restaurant on the inside and outside is really ghetto but I think it’s a cute and cheesy little restaurant. The employees are nice but seem to be rushed a lot because the hostess is the cashier and the takeout person. They are really busy with takeout and delivery. I’ve dined there a few times for lunch and enjoyed my little quiet time with my big ol’ plate of good food.

I would rather driver to Vietnam restaurant to get food than get delivery from here. The sauces are too sweet for me.

LOVE. Only place the hubby and I order out from when it comes to this genre of food. And super quick!

This is my go to Asian restaurant! The food is delicious and you get a huge meal for a really good price. The outside isn’t very appealing and neither is the inside really, I would definitely recommend for take out or delivery!

Tasty and inexpensive… totally satisfies the chinese craving and the portions are huge! I’ve always had polite and courteous service and haven’t had a bad experience with food. The combos are available for both Lunch and Dinner… my usual is #23 which is like A Happy Family Mongolian style stir fry with a nice mixture of veggies. While it’s certainly not haute cuisine… it totally has The Heights vibe and has many loyal customers!

It wasn’t terrible. We did take out and they were timely and very friendly. The food was alright. Fixed a Chinese craving. The sauce was pretty thick on the General Tso’s chicken. The egg rolls were pretty bland. But the food wasn’t terrible. Just nothing too exciting.

This is one of those places I frequent even though I don’t like to, just because it happens to be close from my work and affordable. I have tried almost all of their lunch specials and quiet a few of their chicken dishes and wouldn’t be able to distinguish one dish from the other even though my life depended on it. All of them taste freaking same! Portion size is good and its a clean place with a service you won’t rave about, but food quality and taste is where they dig a hole. Also, for reasons beyond my comprehension, your order will always be taken by a lady who speaks broken English while the staff fluent in it will be sitting at a table and peeling onions.

The garlic chicken dish is delicious and a big portion size too! Their pricing is also affordable. My friend and I ordered online and we had no issues.

Hidious I’m eaten hear before and was not pleased, but I though I’d give it another try. The food is not edible. There is a very unpleasant odor coming off of the food. I tried a bit anyway, and it was overcooked, greasy, gristle ridden, and what’s very odd for chinese food, under seasoned. Avoid this place.

A co-worker of mine brought me here to Golden Café and my first impression was«what the heck is this place». It’s totally run down and not very attractive looking. He said I should trust and that the food is pretty good and well priced. I’m glad I stuck it out because he was right. I had the General Tso Chicken with steamed rice and Hot and Sour soup. The soup was great and meal was pretty good. The meal portion was large and came with an egg roll. Now, it’s not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but I’ll definitely be coming here again, you can beat the great price. So if your in the area, I’d at least give it a try once, you may be surprised :) I know I was! Pros: Low prices. Good food. Large portions. Cons: Weird service. Poor looking establishment.
