Sorry Bro. I wanted to find a place known for some fried chicken and this isn’t it. Nothing really sets it apart from KFC or any other chicken place for me. The service was poor. Ice machine was broke. Beans and rice were more like ref tied beans and rice. I’m done with this place. You failed

Rubi was wonderful at the window… quick and attentive. I ordered the boudin, large gumbo (which they quickly found & filled for me); and 10 pieces of wings. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Everything was seasoned and flavorful. The fried wings tasted the way original recipe should taste. The boudin delicious, not too greasy or soggy at all. The food was gone in half hour once I brought it home. Hence, no pics of the boudin. haha. I don’t normally give «5» star ratings. But this is the fastest cajun I have ever had – aside from cooking it myself – that was both tasty and did not break the bank!

I had high expectations going into this place, there has been a lot of hype about frenchy’s chicken; I was expecting to get blown away. The chicken was pretty small, it had a nice crispy skin and the flavor was ok but it was on the drier side. The dirty rice was ok but there wasn’t anything special about it. I might give it another try since the location was new but I wasn’t too thrilled with the food.

The food here is good always hot and fresh. The Lemon cake is to die for. I keep going back because I love Frenchy’s Chicken. The only negative thing is the customer service. The employees are so slow they move with no
sense of purpose and they are also very unfriendly. They seem to act as if you are disturbing them from talking to each other. There may be one or two employees that are nice Even the manager seems to have attitude but the owner is friendly. Owner please talk to your employees! !!

Their chicken is awesome !! We used to eat only Popeye’s and then one day on the way home I stopped and got a box of chicken for the family. They all LOVE it !!!

In a crazy way, I’m sorry I tried this place. I LOVE wings, and they cook um EXACTLY like I love um. My wings and fries order came out piping hot, fresh and wonderfully seasoned. From my first bite, nothing else existed as I entered my little chicken wing world, until I was through with every single finger licking morsel. This place is going to sit on my brain and tease me until I return. I just know it.

God is so good. I was craving some fried chicken and didn’t want Popeye’s or church’s chicken and my husband chimes it with «There is a Frenchy’s up the street!!». I argued him down that he must be mistaken because I surely would have heard about this, but alas he was right, there is a Frenchy’s chicken within a mile of my home.
The food was hot, fast and heart attack good. I only suggest this once or twice a year but it was right on time this weekend. I will SURLY be back. at the end of the year!

Frenchys is the only fried chicken I love to eat! They are flavorful but not too greasy. The sides are also true Cajun recipes!
This location in particular had a great ambiance! The décor was modern and it was super clean inside. The food was just as great as the original. Everything from the chicken to the jambalaya to the red beans and rice were so flavorful! I’ll definitely be back to this location!

Today was opening day BIG DISAPPOINTMENT look I grew up near the original Frenchy’s I grew up eating at this historical marker across the street from Fire Station 25 but I will say this was like night and day the french fries has NO seasoning on it and the chicken was bland I would no waste my time maybe give them some time to work out the kinks… I don’t know I just was excited about getting a taste out this way (humble) … I guess I have to get my fix in 3rd ward because not cutting it out here pity… SMH
