Javaman makes a good cup of coffee, tasty beignets, and real good crepes. If you are sick of crappy starbucks coffee and the atmosphere check out Javaman. The owners walk around and talk to their customers, a novel idea in today’s market!

I’d give it 2 stars as, while the coffee was good, not very much better than any other decent coffee shop, I found the breakfast I had not that good. The contents of the crêpe were ok, and appeared fresh, but the crêpe it was wrapped in was rubbery, not flavorful, and seemed to be just the holder of the contents. I was here once before for coffee, but if I wasn’t in the neighborhood, I don’t intend to return. Sorry.

Pretty awesome coffee shop way out in atascosita. There are a few of these great OTL places that compare with inner loop coffee shops, and this is one of them. One other reviewer indicated their interior décor was New Orleans-​themed, but I would call it more of a comforting interior design with dark colors.
I came during the mid-​morning and ordered an iced coconut mocha coffee. This was a little bit of a weird flavor combination where I didn’t really taste much coconut, nor mocha. It was not a strong drink by any means, nor was it overly sugary.
I also tried the beignets, and they were just okay. The dough seems to be heavy to me, and not really light, airy or fluffy. They are $ 3.15 for a plate of 3. Like other reviewers indicated, they’re just not as good as café du monde, but who is.
I sampled my colleagues snickerdoodle cookie and that was pretty yummy.
I’ll definitely be back to try other lattes, or flavored drinks since they have a ton of combinations.

My family and I have been going here for years. They make it a point to learn all of our names and greet us every time we come in. I even got my in laws who live 30 min away to come here and now they come even without us. There freshly made baked good and crepes are amazing. I always get a snicker doodle cookie or a hootananie (not sure if I spelled it right) cupcake every time. The staff is always nice! We never feel like we are being rushed out of there when we stay and eat. Mark (the owner) always makes a point to stop and talk to us and never seems bothered to do it. The coffee is greatly better than anything Starbucks could make! My family and I will continue to go here as long as they are in business!

Plenty of seating. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Don’t know if the beignets are better than café du monde but who cares. They were tasty nonetheless. Staff joins sings out orders if you want café olé or certain things. All look like young folks except the boss and dressed in football jerseys.

This is def a best kept secret and in no way can any other major coffee chain compare. They have the best fresh roasted coffee and espresso and on the weekends their beignets are to die for. During the week they have crepes to either fill up your belly as a meal or they have the sweet ones to satisfy a sugar craving. The décor is great. The baristas are always friendly. No complaints here at all. I drive over twenty minutes just to go have breakfast and an awesome cup of coffee.

I went with my boyfriend and two friends for the very first time today. I had delicious beignets with a dirty chai. Service was quick and the food and drink was delicious. I’m happy that there is small unique place like this in Humble. We will return! :)

This place is awesome. My only request is that they stay open longer on weekends and evenings.

Loved the atmosphere here and the Pumpkin Spice Chai was excellent with almond milk. So delicious! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Be sure to check this place out if you are in the area!

Tried this place once and I’m hooked. Had to come back and try the breakfast crêpe since they now serve them on the weekends. The coffees have all been amazing and they have every flavor u can think of (my favs: peanut butter & black and white). My son loves the cinnamon rolls, beignets and their muffins. Highly recommended!

We went yesterday 20 minutes before close and they treated us so warmly! Anyone who has worked in food knows that most establishments often close down before they close. Well guess what, these guys made us two orders of fresh beignets and our lattes even though it was 15 minutes before close. Although I won’t make a habit of not knowing where awesome places are, it’s nice to know the staff is genuine. The beignets were amazing, source: from Louisiana. Will be back!

Not getting any better,
The staff seems to be more interested in BSing with one another than they do with assisting customers. I herd more about what they did the night before than I wanted to and certainly things that shouldn’t be discussed in front of customers.
Unfortunately, there’s not much for coffee shops up this way so you have to stisfy yourself with half ass. Well… some of us do, that is.

Not one bad thing to say about this place except it’s not in Kingwood :)
Came in for the first time last week and I grabbed an iced turtle coffee, white mocha for the hubs and of course beignets! Everyone was really nice and cheery. I love a good coffee and it’s nice to have a local shop that is amazing. Open up a shop in Kingwood pllleeeease!

The owner and his daughter and the whole crew are amazing. This really because part of your life if you live in Atascocita like we do. The Beignets are amazing. Everyone says hello all the time so nice.
This will make you and your kids so happy.
These guys are part of the community and leading the culture of Atascocita, Texas.
The coffee is always great.
This is a slice of Americana that will be remembered kindly by local history.

This place is nice. The staff is super friendly with customers and with each other. The coffee was great. The atmosphere is nice. Would be a great place to meet a friend on a weekend morning and chat. I wish they had a little better selection of food. They had a few things but not very many. I was hoping for a bagel or something to go with my coffee. Overall a nice place and I would come back.

Did Unilocal for coffee as I was planning my drive from Livingston to Clearlake. I knew there would be the various chains that would be closer but I enjoy trying new places (especially coffee places). I saw it was a little drive off my route but figured what the hey.
It was worth the drive. Great coffee & Beignets.
If I find myself nearby I will make this a stop.

This is a little family owned coffee shop in Atascocita that blows the coffee chains out of the water! They roast their own coffee beans to make coffee that is out of this world. They have an ice cream toddy that is to die for in many different flavors.
But, the best thing about this place is every weekend they have beignets!!! BEIGNETS!!!
Javaman is very busy on the weekends, but it’s so worth it! They handle the hustle and bustle very well! Hardly any wait time at all for fresh made beignets!
