IHOP

Omg. Sat in the lobby with two other friends for 10 minutes, made eye contact with two waiters and no acknowledgment. We were the only party in the lobby. Anyways we left.

perfect place to start a little family routine. saturday morning breakfasts. i choose something between the omlettes and french toasts stuff, hubby always gets biscuits and gravy, and now the toddler gets to choose stuff off of his menu.

Server awesome Kev and I were not cranky but not the cheerfull selfs we usually are. She was awesome brought us coffee we thanked her we could of grunted lol. And she kept the coffee coming.
The food was fast hot and served how we requested which is awesome.
They have a combo breakfast and special French toast. I had the caramel apple toast which was delicious
Hubs had the banana fosters which he enjoyed to
All in all great place was clean and tidy washrooms were a little drain smelling

My college daughter and her friends had dinner there last night. Their waiter, college-​age himself with brown hair, brought their bills and all but two girls paid with a card. He returned to give back their cards and collect signatures. My daughter’s bill was $ 5.30. She paid with a $ 10 bill. The waiter never brought her or her friend’s change. One of the girls knew a waiter and asked him to get their waiter to bring their change. He returned with a very bad attitude and $ 4 and NO change! We’ve taught her to tip accordingly but not 100%! Not bringing all of a customer’s change back on purpose is called stealing! I called the restaurant and asked to speak to someone in management and was put on hold. After 15 minutes of waiting I finally hung up. Now that you’re in the know, you decide if that IHOP is worth visiting. Better yet, just check out other Huntsville restaurants on Unilocal

I ordered a stack of pancakes and a house salad. The salad had onions and tomatoes that were translucent and slimy. The butter on top of the pancakes had hair in the middle of the butter when I cut into it. The manager tried to tell my husband that the onions are suppose to be like that. That that’s how purple onions were like that. She told him well I didn’t know I had to check the salad bar. Her attitude is why we will not go back.

About the same as any other ihop. Noise levels extreme on Tuesday night /​Wenesday morning and The weekends of course.

On our way to Houston, my boyfriend and I stopped here to eat breakfast. It was like your typical IHOP anywhere you go… we got seated quickly, service was superb, and our food came out in a timely manner. If you haven’t tried, get the sugar free syrup :)
–The only thing that bothered me was an older gentleman smoking in the table next to us… It was killing me because I can’t stand cigarette smoke. All I know is that the workers told him he couldn’t smoke during breakfast times and he would have to come back if he wanted to (so he left).

All I can say is don’t tell your server you need a few more minutes to choose. Because you’ll have to go look for her 20 minutes later on the other side of the restaurants with the rest of the staff playing on cell phones when your drinks go dry. But hey she was «so sorry she just… doesn’t even know». The food was mediocre and my wife’s chicken strip were dry enough to be powered. Aside from that the other server (that wasn’t ours) complained very verbally about another tables tip. Not that it means anything but the music was terrible too. Cliché 80s and 90s one hit wonder love songs.

Serving my sisters eggs cold, and leaving my bacon off of my sandwich? Painfully slow service? Thumbs down, IHOP.

Thanks for being open ²⁴⁄₇. But who still lets smoking inside their restaurant at this day and age. gross…

Well it has been while since we last went to IHOP because Denny’s was consistently better than IHOP in past experiences, but in fact they really are more or less the same. So instead of Denny’s this time we chose IHOP as it was more convenient. It turned out better than we remembered. Maybe it’s the location. It serves the same stuff but everything tasted a little better than other IHOP/Denny’s we tried before. Of course I am not going to drive to this IHOP to just have their food — it’s not THAT good yet. If we are on the way to Dallas again we probably don’t mind stopping by again.

Mundane fare: lukewarm pancakes, greasy omelettes, canned salsa. Hubby said the coffee was good, though.
