One star is too many. Left them pictures of what I wanted. Cake was nothing like I designed. It looked like a 3rd grader decorated it. Wasn’t ready when I got there and they knew the baby shower I needed the cake for was that day so I could do nothing about it. It was over $ 80 and I have ordered $ 30 Publix cakes that were decorated better. Disgusted and will never buy from them again. Ruined my day as I was trying to give a friend a beautiful shower and cake. T. Michael

Oh my gosh, where to start with this review? Where I grew up we had a great little home town bakery and since I moved I have been on a search for something to replace it. This is perhaps the closest I have been able to find. Since we had not tried anything here we purchased an array of goodies. One note, if you want to get a good sampling of their offerings you want to go early in the morning. If you want like we did the selection will be less. We tried a few different cookies which were all great. But, the best of the best here are by far their glacé petit fours. I don’t think any words can do these fresh, iced, tasty little cakes justice. You just need to go try them for yourself. Slightly on the expensive side but worth every penny.

Since I was a little girl, my mom & grandma would take my sister & I to Peggy Ann’s Bakery to delightfully pick up their petit fours & gingerbread men(which they make year-round because they are so ridiculously amazing). Every time we would come to visit my family in Huntsville(before we moved here), we would look forward to having the opportunity to experience the greatness of Peggy Ann’s gingerbread men. Even after moving away as an adult, I still stop by every time I’m in town. If you plan on going later in the day, make sure you call ahead; they sell out quickly! :) Best bakery in Huntsville, hands down.

Growing up in Huntsville, Peggy Ann has always been the go to for sweet treats. The bakery doesn’t look like much, but is an establishment in this area. Growing up, they made all of my beautiful white, buttercream frosted, hand-decorated birthday cakes. Now, I go every other week to get my fill of petit fours(moist, subtle, super-cute classic that I have loved since I was a little girl), petit four cookies(just as good as the cakes, but in cookie form), cheese straws, sugar cookies, and other treats. I’m personally not a fan of their famous thumbprint cookies, but I hear they’re a must-try as well as my aforementioned favorites!

One of my favorite bakeries, definitely my favorite in Huntsville. I like to go there every time I visit my parents. I usually go there for cakes, cheese danishes, and petit fours. My only complaint is that they used to make the best donuts in the world, and now they no longer make them :(

After hearing about this place from many locals, my husband and I stopped by in search of some sweet goodies after our morning workout. We were expecting cinnamon rolls, slices of cakes, and other various pastries but were greeted by cookies, crème horns, and some sad, ‘supermarket’ looking cupcakes. I bypassed the cupcakes and decided I’d order a petit four after watching a woman pick up 3 dozen for a gathering she was hosting later that night. My husband grabbed some cookies and off we went. Let’s just say everything was underwhelming. The cookies were hard and tasted like they had been sitting a while… The petit four while moist, did not have any flavor. I’m willing to give this place another try because everyone raves about it-but the first try was a miss…
