Like others have noted, the delivery can be horrible. Placed my order, was told it might be up to 1.5 hours. 2 hours later, still no food. Tried calling them SEVEN times to ask about the status. No one picked up the phone to even give a status update. Finally the«manager» picked up more than 2 hours after I placed the order, and said he did not have any time to pick up the phone all night. Didnt even think my order was going to get to me soon, but he didnt have any idea when. Time to take my business elsewhere. Not acceptable service. Any one considering placing a delivery order with Palios, please strongly reconsider.

I tried Palio’s for the first time today for a late work lunch. Location: 7⁄10 This particular location is right behind the In-N-Out Burger at MacArthur and Royal, but it is set back a bit in a small shopping center so it can be hard to find if you aren’t looking for it. That being said, I knew basically where to look and because of that, I was able to see the sign from Royal. Ambiance: 8⁄10 Definitely what I would describe as a «Chill Spot.» A few tables out front and then a good amount of seating inside. You walk in and the order counter is right there in front of you. They have specials on a couple chalk boards to the right as you enter. I was greeted by everyone when I walked in, but it didn’t feel like one of those forced company greetings some places do. Decent chairs and tables. The booth seats looked comfortable. Couple of TVs up with ESPN on without sound. Loved the faux fireplace! Nice lights in the place too. Overall, seemed a bit fancy, but not over the top. I would feel comfortable coming here in shorts and a t-shirt. Food: 10⁄10! The food was amazing! I came in just after 3, but they were nice enough to hook me up with the lunch special anyway. Small Pizza with 3 Toppings, Salad, and a drink for $ 8.99! I upgraded to a «Gourmet Pizza» for an extra dollar. Not a bad deal. I started with a Caesar Salad and it was spot on. Not a big fan of Caesar normally, but I enjoyed this one! The size of the salad was perfect too. Not too much, but not too little. I opted for a Frank’s Red Hot Pizza. It was delicious! The crust was so crispy, yet soft! They make their own crust here and I saw them dividing up the super large batch into smaller amounts! The overall taste was very much like an order of good chicken wings on a pizza crust with some extra cheese. So good! Next time, I will opt for a more traditional pizza just simply because their tomato sauce smelled amazing! By the end of the meal, I was stuffed and almost regretting eating the whole thing, but it was just so good, I couldn’t stop myself! Overall: 5⁄5! I know I changed rating scales, but this matches the star rating system, so don’t judge me. Overall, I was delighted with my choice to try Palio’s and I will return sooner than later. Next time, I’m bringing my girlfriend though as I want more people to try this place!

Placed a delivery order at 11:04am. Was told it would take 20 – 30 minutes. ANHOURANDTWENTYMINUTESLATER it finally showed up(after I called an hour into the wait inquiring, and being told it’d be there«any minute») I ordered simple mac n cheese. It certainly isn’t made from any recipe. Tastes like alfredo sauce with more cheese thrown on top. Wasn’t the worst thing I ever had, but wasn’t remotely good either. NOTIMPRESSED. NOTORDERINGFROMTHEMAGAIN. Too bad too… It was my first Palio’s experience and certainly my last.

Upon entering, we got a friendly greeting from the owner/manager(someone of importance). I left my husband to the ordering while I got our two kids situated. The atmosphere was good — March Madness was playing so you can’t go wrong there. We ordered cheesy bread, wings and the Frank’s Buffalo Chicken pizza. I wish we wouldn’t have done both the wings and the Frank’s pizza as that was way too much buffalo for me. That being said, I’m still not sure I would have LOVED the pizza anyway. The crust was crispy(major points there), but I’ve had better buffalo chicken pizza. I plan to go back to try another kind.

This place smelled funky. The place itself is neatly decorated. I walked in and wasn’t greeted. Two young adults were the cashiers. It was our first time. We had no idea what to do. They could’ve asked if we needed help. Instead, we grabbed our own menus and ordered confusedly. When the young guy came and brought our food to the table, I said, «Thank you.» I got no response in return. The fountain drink machine was awkwardly placed all the way towards the back of the building, away from the dining area. As you walk towards the fountain drinks, you can see plates of dough. They pre made 10 plates with pizza dough. On the counter, there were two huge ball of dough. It was sitting out there the entire 45 minutes we were there. Gross! The garlic bread was good. The pizza was flat and very salty. I wasn’t impressed with their food or service. When we left, they didn’t even tell us bye! We won’t be going back.

Located right behind In & Out Burger in a cozy corner of Las Colinas, Palio’s offers scrumptious thin crust pizza varieties to meet all tastes and satisfaction levels. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great for a casual dine in.

The customer service is great! Very friendly and polite staff. Very clean establishment. 5 stars there. The pizza is really good. It takes a lot for me to like pizza because my needs are so complex. And theirs hit the nail on the head. The crust is perfect. Thin like I like it, but also durable where it’s not soggy and cooked perfectly enough where it’s not too hard. Until today, I’d never met a thin crust pizza that wasn’t either soggy or too hard. 5 stars on the quality of the crust as well as their mastery of cooking it to the right level to accommodate toppings and sauce without getting soggy. The sauce to topping ratio was good as well. One reason I’m not too crazy about pizza is because the sauce can be overwhelming at some places. This was a perfect balance. 5 stars on the pizza. The hot wings were really good in flavor, but they were not«hot» at all. Also, the chicken skin wasn’t crispy enough. It was flabby and that’s a turn off to me. They should let them cook longer uncovered to solve this problem. 3 stars there. The Greek salad wasn’t a Greek salad. It had tons of iceberg lettuce hearts(I was expecting romaine at least). It was just a salad. But it did have an adequate amount of fresh feta cheese and Greek olives, both of which I love. The dressing was their house dressing, which was really good, but not Greek. 3 stars there. I am looking forward to going back for the pizza for sure. It’s delicious! Next time I will also try a pasta dish and dessert as well. Love the pizza and customer service!

This was my first time here but the food was super yummy. We started off with the regular buffalo wings. The wings came out fresh and piping hot! They didn’t taste super buffalo-y but it was still pretty good. They have a variety of different hot sauces to try(and I’m all about condiments), so we tried the wings with the ghost pepper sauce. For the pizza, we ordered half Texas Cowboy and half BBQ Chicken. The BBQ Chicken was AMAZING and super flavorful. The Texas Cowboy was also super good, but the BBQ Chicken was still the winner. The crust is on the thinner side, and crispy, which I’m a huge fan of. The pizza is definitely something I’d come back for. We also got the Nutella Cheesecake and Caramel Cheesecake to-go. The Nutella cheesecake had no Nutella in it what-so-ever and was all chocolate. Good if you’re a chocolate lover. The caramel cheesecake was really good! I actually liked that one more. Overall, I’d recommend this place for a good, fresh pizza. Service can be a little slow but the food was worth the wait.

Tucked behind In-N-Out burger Palio’s could be easily missed, however it’s worth the search. Palio’s offers a wide array of pizza choices, from mild to wild. I went with the Frank’s Buffalo Chicken, you could not only taste the Frank’s RedHot sauce you could smell it. The rest of the table dined on wings as well as «The Scorcher» pizza. The restaurant had a very romantic feel, which was a bit odd for three guys eating together.

Excellent ambience, amazing food and fairly priced. Tried their Greek bread and The Scorcher pizza, both were really amazing. Will definitely come back for more. They also have a few tables outside.

This place is great! They pricing is reasonable and the lunch special was just what I needed! I ordered the Maria’s BBQ Chicken pizza(Per Jim’s reccomendation), Caesar salad, and mango tea. It was so good! The atmosphere is cool and the service was quick and friendly. It was nice that people came to check on you without seeming overbearing. I love this place and I will definitely be back!

I’m a long time customer. Irving TX is a nasty city, but this café was a classy gem. I don’t know what happened, but it’s gone downhill recently. Palio’s is no longer a café I’d recommend to anyone. Up until a month ago I never had a bad experience here. Did they get a new manager? I don’t know. There is a male here that has consistently effed up my order and I’m fairly certain he’s the current manager. My friend ordered take out and they told her it’d be 10 minutes for our take out order… only to find out they never put it in. Needless to say, it took an hour. For one pizza. Edit: Im 99% sure it is NOT the chef’s fault because it was a male that went to give him the order… That dude messed up my phoned in order for a pizza by only putting in smaller size pizza when I clearly ordered a larger one. ALLOFMYTAKEOUTORDERSFROMPALIO’S HAVEBEENHORRIBLE. DONOTCOMEHEREFORTAKEOUT. I would recommend dining in because they can’t get their act together when it comes to take-out. HOWEVER after seeing how far this business has decreased in quality — I wouldn’t rec coming here at all. My last order consisted of the Deep Dish Pizza Cookie — that was VERY undercooked. It literally tasted like dough and chocolate sauce. Disgusting. I threw it out. Before that — there was a large pizza. It was razor thin, and burnt black on the bottom. This was burnt so badly that I couldn’t stand the taste. So I threw it in the trash. Unfortunately I did not know this until I got home with it! Part of me thinks it’s just incompetent employees, and part of me thinks Palio’s just screws customers over when it comes to take-out. Because you can’t exactly send it back to the chef IFYOU’VEDRIVENALLTHEWAYHOME. So PLEASE if you’re going to bother with take-out from Palio’s — taste check it in the car before leaving.

I found this place on Unilocal,I’m not from Texas was here for work and I figure the reviews looked great. I called and they were extremely helpful and friendly had the Frank’s pizza was spicy and delicious. I ordered a kids pasta with meatballs *whoops no such thing* the owner went above and beyond and honored the kids price. He personally came and delivered pizza with a smile. I would definitely come back here again.

This was my third visit for dinner. The ingredients are fresh and I like the fact the pizza crust is thin. We had leftovers which heat up just okay. The staff provided great customer service. The décor is nice and it’s BYOB! Palio’s will be added to my pizza rotation when selecting a dinner spot.

Not from this area, but I didn’t want basic pizza from the normal spots. Found this place on Unilocal and everyone is not lying! Pizza is awesome and so is the cheese bread. I ordered the classic for delivery. Food got to my hotel in a good time and it was nice and warm! Also, the guy on the phone was extremely nice and helped me make a selection on what type of pizza! Highly recommend this place!

My fellow Unilocalers were absolutely correct about the mac ‘n cheese here. It is incredibly cheesy, creamy, buttery baked goodness — just like Momma used to make. Someone actually made a white sauce, and blended real cheese into it, then baked it! If it weren’t so fattening, I’d have eaten a whole bucket of it. The chicken alfredo pizza was good. The crust was thin & crispy, but the crust on the middle pieces was soggy. Toppings were perfect, and the Alfredo sauce was perfect. Waitstaff was friendly. As of this review, there is a $ 12 for $ 20 Groupon that I highly recommend since the food is good. I’d go back here. They are BYOB, and they have lunch specials until 3pm.

I got this pizza twice on my birthday and overall it was pretty good. The sauce was a little too sweet for me and their pizzas are TINY. I got a medium with tomatoes, spinach, garlic, artichoke, mushrooms, banana peppers, and parmesan. It was super tasty and flavorful but the medium is more like a small. That means I got hungry again. We ordered another pizza a few hours later and the people working got the order wrong. They put three different types of peppers I never asked for and forgot half the toppings I did want. I’m not sure how that happened. The price is not bad, though. They could be a little less stingy with toppings.
