If your looking for some good southern beach fun in a laid back atmosphere with COLD beer and fun smiles, well the Jammer is your place. Just the place with good ol folk who like to live life. A staple in the charleston area, but down home enuf to kick your flip flops off, sit back and enjoy the sunset! Awesome place right on the beach in isle of palms!

This place is a normal bar with a great view. My only real complaint is the clientele. Wow. If you want to go there and hit on drunk chicks, or if you’re a lady and want to get hit on by douchy drunk men — it’s your place! If that sort of thing bothers you, stay away! My douche bag meter was reading 11 out of 10!

Windjammy jam… the pearl of Isle of Palms. When I say pearl, I mean closer to a dive, but it is perfect. Outdoor volleyball court during the day and live music at night, what more can you ask for? We did our share of rocking out over three days here and it obliged our ridiculousness. It was never packed, but it was always crowded enough to create a scene. This is a drinking place… the food is frozen and fried. if you don’t want to go all the way in to Charleston, this is a fine backup option.

We showed up on Thursday last week about 1230 in the afternoon and a dozen of us ate and drank for a few hours.
The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable.

My wallet and my liver would be in SERIOUS trouble if I lived anywhere near this wonderful place. We stopped in the other day after walking around the neighborhood for my gf’s bachelorette party and liked it so much we stopped back in that night. The day shift bartender was a little gruff at first, but the night shift bartenders were absolutely amazing! They played a couple of our music requests during the day AND helped facilitate our dance battle in between band sets. My group and I had so much fun, we can’t stop talking about this place!
The two bands they had were great and there was a really chill vibe on the dance floor! Plus, everyone we met there were friendly and drinks are fairly cheap. The bathrooms are a little scuzzy (hence the not quite perfect score), but man is this a fun place to be!

Windjammer is a great beach bar with pool tables and upper and lower outdoor patio seating. There is also bar jenga outside which is very fun. Great views, simple menu. I did not eat just drank. Prices aren’t expensive but also aren’t inexpensive. A happy medium for the ambiance. Bar tenders are friendly!
They also have a beach volleyball court!
All in all great place to bring friends and drink with a view of the beach and grab a quick bite to eat.

Been going to the Windjammer since I was 18 (yes, the legal age was 18 way back then). Great location, great food, great bar! Always a jam good time!
