My friends and I stopped here on the way down from Atlanta to Florida. I ordered the Cinnamon Pancake Breakfast. It included pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hash browns. The pancakes sounded better than they tasted. The other food was rather blah. Service was not great at all and it took a long time to get our food. We all said that we would not be back. Not that it was likely anyway.

Being a truck driver I end up going to a lot of truckstops. Normally Dennys is one of those restaurants I can look forward to having a good meal. The person at the register was rude, no hello, nothing. Stood there for ten minutes. Then she doesn’t give me menu just a specials menu. The waitress asks me what I want and I say a menu and she acts like I’m the one who screwed up. I ordered. She brings me a side salad that was wilted and the dressing was warm ranch. Then I sit for almost an hour waiting for a meal that never comes. I left. Told the girl I wanted to pay for a side salad and a water, she said she had to get her manager. Comes back out from the kitchen and just ignores me. I just left. Never will come back to this Dennys probably will scratch this flying j off my list completely.

Good food as with all Denny’s. First time hear. Still waiting on that OJ I asked for twice! Other than that it was a good visit. Clean place but beware it is part of a truck stop so you will dine with the drivers. No problem with truckers but not what we were expecting when locating a fam dinner spot for the evening… This is a truck stop… Lot lizards included…

Here at Denny’s we can get a wide variety of food. Made great grandma happy to the teenager grand daughters. Thanks for the great service and food.

I have eaten here twice, both times around lunch time. I was seated quickly and both times was with a group of around 7 people. The food was what you would expect(no surprises) and the service was good. Both times the place was clean. I’m not a huge Denny’s fan but if you are looking for one in the area stop in. It is located in the Flying J gas station.

Good American Diner: The cooking is consistent and good. It’s a good spot to stop by on our way south of Atlanta toward Griffin or Macon. Service: 4⁄5 Friendly and knowledgable Restrooms: 4⁄5 Shared with gas station but clean and well maintained Food: 4⁄5 Good and accommodating with variations. I had a value breakfast which is eggs, bacon or sausage and two large pancakes. I asked for turkey bacon and they gave me the real cured bacon and not the high sodium meat substitute. Hubby had the hearty breakfast which comes with eggs, sausage and red potatoes. He substituted eggs with egg whites. Go for a quick, consistent bite and you can be confident in the quality of the food.

The Cookery was in a Flying J truckstop. All Flying J truck stops have done away with that restaurant and most have been replaced with Denny’s. This one is a 24 hour Denny’s now. It is a typical Denny’s only a little larger. It is clean with good food and good service.
