Absolutely amazing setting! Highly recommend this beautiful spot. Right on the Inlet with views of the water, boats and the Jupiter Lighthouse! Smoked fish dip was great! We mostly had finger foods and drinks. Great place to see live music. Very tropical setting. Wear sandles! Beautiful people everywhere!

Everything about this place was disappointing. After reading how it is one of the best beach bars in Florida I decided to check it out. It’s a pottery average beach bar. No table service, the food was basic pub grub, and the view was not pretty. The bartender was AMAZING and very helpful, but that was the only good thing.

This was the only restaurant that I didn’t want to miss on our brief vacation in the Keys. And The Square Grouper did not disappoint! Stopped in on a Friday evening. The wait for a table was understably an hour, but we opted for immediate seating at the bar. I absolutely enjoyed my crusted hogfish dinner that was one of the specials. My wife had another fish special (can’t remember); hers tasted great and the sweetened mashed sweet potato side was great.
Do not order appetizers if you’re going to choose an entry — you’ll be too stuffed!
As far as drinks, my wife’s marguarita was disappointing, but the Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout on tap was awesome — I never heard of this sweet stout from Colorado before; it may have been the Nitro variety according to my receipt.

Got there before noon so had our pick at tables. But within an hour was packed… on Monday. And now understand why. Great food, great service and even better atmosphere. On top of «must drink Monday’s» with $ 3 beers. Great experience.

This is one of my favorite places! Take the boat, have a few drinks and relax! Fun place to be at night too. Great spot all around

The Square Grouper is by far one of my favorite places to go. The conch fritters and fish dip are the best I’ve had. The shrimp tacos are great, and the beef sliders are good too. The view and atmosphere are stunning! Such a great place to have drinks, good apps, and relax by the water!

It’s all about the view. The food is typical bar food. The drinks are decent. The location is spectacular. A little surprised we had to order at the bar and pick up the food ourselves at a pickup window. We thought there was table service. It’s not a big deal, just a surprise.
We found it a little pricey, but what do you expect with a view like this.

Had a blast here! Was down visiting family and after too much family time I decided to escape for a drink or two. Unfortunately I didn’t escape for just a drink or two — I was there until close. Great spot on the water and you can walk out to the dock. Bartenders were friendly, and there were multiple bars so you didn’t have to wait so long even though it was rather busy. Live music was great, and prices weren’t bad at all. I’m coming back for sure!

Cool place right to n the water. Great music and sandwiches are HUGE! So buyer be-​share! The drinks were good. everyone walking in is carded. Bar service with no wait staff but GREAT place!

Probably one of my favorite, if not my favorite spot to just relax.
Atmosphere is perfect, nice and secluded, quiet and tropical.
Drinks are always great and so is the food.
I could spend the whole day here.

Just left and made a report with the ADA
The bald guy that works the door this lovely Wednesday after noon wouldn’t even read the doctors note that the ADA needed me to have at all times. Was very rude to me on my vacation from Miami to Juno beach. We came to Jupiter to have a good time not to have a guy at the door way scream without even reading my documents to see my conditions.

This years visit was supposed to be for one or two drinks. We ended up closing the bar after about three hours.
It got very busy and the crowd was more than friendly.
I’ve never eaten here, but the bar menu looks good, and the food I’ve seen come out looks pretty tasty.
Square grouper is a staple to the palm beach area. If you go once you’ll most likely go again.

Great, river side bar with sandy floors. Live music is a common occurrence. Food & drink prices are a bit on the high side, but there’s never a cover to get in. Friendly staff.
Parking is an issue, but there’s a satellite lot located about 300 yards away. A sidewalk is desperately needed for the pedestrians coming and going.

One of my fav spots in Jupiter. Awesome location and scene — great drinks and the food is pretty good to.
Only issue is parking — it fills up quick!

Pleasantly surprised by this marina located open air bar/​restaurant with a fantastic view of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Arrived early for lunch, there is no table service, you order at the bar, get a buzzer and wait for your food. We had the fish and chips and the pulled pork sandwich. The fish was fresh, lightly breaded with the right amount of crisp, served with hand cut fries and a very good tartar sauce. The pulled pork was served on a toasted potato bun, covered in cheese and bacon, a delicious sloppy mess. I am sure this place jumps at happy hour with the live music. Will come back to dine and party there again!

The Square Grouper provides you with a beautiful ocean view and with great, fun and yummy drinks and good food!
The place is always clean, and the staff is quick and nice.
Everytime I’m in the area I love to stop here for a nice and relaxing time.

The name of this place alone is enough of draw, as I have only recently truly understood the history of «Square Grouper». And it’s on Love Street.
Food = okay. I tried the tacos with fries, and the tacos were mediocre ($ 14.00). The others ordered coconut shrimp, smoked fish dip and french fries, and there was still a lot leftover.
Drinks = okay. It’s a full bar. I’m sure there are drink specials, but I just ordered a soda.
Prices = moderate. Even coming from SF, the bar food prices were a bit high for us.
Service = friendly, but it’s mostly self service. They have a paging system, so at least that helps move it along. They have a food pick-​up window, so just look for the sign with green lettering.
I wish they had a waitlist or something for the tables, instead of a free-​for-​all. But I guess it depends on the time of year or something… I spent a while trying to gather up chairs and locating a table for 9 people.
The view = hard to beat. And you can walk down to the boats for a ‘closer’ view of the fabulous homes on the other side. Or just enjoy the occasional breeze.
Seating = sitting on sand, and you have a fabulous view of the water and lighthouse. We saw a lovely sunset here on our last night in Florida. Thanks to the local in our group who insisted on coming here. (She did say that the food was subpar, but we were starving after an all-​day conference!) There is seating by the bar, too.
Smoking is allowed but away from the bar areas.
There was a live band that evening, and there’s plenty of space for dancing, too. Our local friend and a few of the other ladies took advantage of the live music and had a good time before we all had to call it quits for an early flight back to reality.
I’d say come here for the views, and maybe a few drinks, but the food isn’t impressive and I don’t think they care.

Fish tacos and fries were great! At $ 14.00 though, mercy please. Fries have that good kinda crunchy pop to em. The blackened fish had a unique chunky salsa also that helped bring a smile.
The $ 10.00 Lighthouse Ice Tea was a near miss to happy. Next time beer for less than ½ that price.
My dining partner was pretty upset with her Square Grouper Burger. I have to agree, if you don’t read the fine print– you will end up with a BEEF Burger– Not GROUPER.
Loved the «at the beach» atmosphere and the live music, so perhaps all that cost wasn’t just in the basket.

Tolle Location im Stile einer Tikki-​Bar /​Beach-​Clubs unter Palmen, in der man gemeinsam mit den Locals entspannte Abende bei Musik und Getränken verbringen kann. Ich war mittlerweile mehrmals dort und kann es nur empfehlen. Prima Service und gute, günstigste Drinks. Am Wochenende ist oftmals Live-​Musik angesagt. Absolut empfehlenswert!
