Why can’t every mall have a free play area for children like Windward Mall? I venture over the H-3 at least once a month so that my 17 month old can have some fun! She climbs on the soft structures, runs around the carpeted area and has a good olé time. I would not recommend this area for the overly protective parent. The place is usually safe however sometimes there are unruly children who aren’t monitored well. I don’t mind it, it gives my daughter an opportunity to learn some street smarts on the means streets of Windward Mall. She might get bumped into a bit in the mist of the excitement and even fall down but she gets right back up. It is usually busy on the weekend and on rainy days. Also this area is for littler children– 42 inches or shorter only.
