My stylist Christine knows how i like my hair. I can trust her. that’s important to me. On time for appointment

I’m a little reluctant to post for selfish reasons. I really love the eyebrow person. Great personality and does a wonderful job. I’ve seen her twice and her name is Alihi according to her card. I don’t want to share the info because then it’ll be harder to get an appointment LOL!
The price for waxing at the shop is on the high end but I’m willing to pay for her service. The only thing I wish they offered was threading.
I have never gotten a haircut from her so I can’t speak for that.
I had gotten a hair dye before about a year ago from another worker — still there– and spent half the night scrubbing it off my face haha and seriously no haha! That’s why I’m giving 4 stars. If it was about just this worker I’d give 5.
I have taken my sons on several occasions for haircuts, my eldest gave it a thumbs up. On these occasions it was the younger local girls there who took care of us.
If I was to choose from hair shops for my sons I’d probably pick this place 3^rd ONLY… because of their prices. I do understand they are in the mall so I expect the higher rates. Plus we all know when guys find a good shop it’s hard to get them to go anywhere else. Our number one choice is always packed, very good and much cheaper.
If I was to choose a place to do brow wax it would be this place first. Seriously my brows were messed up and I just don’t know how she fixed them to give them shape again. Even if the price is a bit high her service makes it worth it!

I went to master cuts for the first time to get a haircut and seen AMBER and she did a perfect job I told her what I wanted and she nailed it and I’m very picky she was very professional and new what she was doing I’ve been to other salons and trust me I’ve had other stylist when you tell them what you want they try to get you to do something else or don’t actually do what you wanted but she wasn’t like that she LISTENED to what I wanted and nailed it so if you want you hair done how you want it see AMBER one of the BEST stylist by far

My sister And I both went In to cut our hair a shorter length because we have young children and long hair is very hard to up keep. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair but specifically asked for my hair to be longer than in the picture. (A grown out version) she cut my hair shorter than the picture. She asked to see the picture 3 times through out the haircut. I had to keep telling her to fix it because she basically gave me a damn bob cut. I was not walking out like that. I wanted an A line sort of cut but one side shorter than the other. I ASKED FOR AMBER BECAUSE OF HER GOOD REVIEWS. BIG MISTAKE. And then my sister was sitting there for the longest time because the stylist said she could not do a blue ombré on her. And didn’t know how to basically. She had to ask two other stylists to help her. She cut her hair wayyyy shorter than my sister asked and the bleached ends were barely showing because she cut so much off. I mean seriously? As a stylist shouldn’t you have the common sense not to cut off everything you just bleached??? Especially since she didn’t want it super short in the first place? The bleached ends were orange and brassy. And she bleached long strands in random places. She didn’t point cut enough so the layers didn’t blend well. She looked like a 5 year old who had just cut her pony tail off. She had dye on her face, neck, all over the back of her shirt. Blotchy spots all over her scalp. We were so upset we just wanted to leave. She had a short hair blonde with piercings. Worst experience in our lives!!! We are hard working dedicated mothers that tried to treat ourselves at a lower costing hair salon but sadly we ended up paying for it because we got something we didn’t want. We wanted to boost our confidence and start fresh with something new but instead we walked out feeling ugly. How rewarding. I would give no stars if I could. This place is obviously a miss more than a hit.

Amber did an amazing job on my hair, the highlights, cut and style– everything turned out great.
Update: it’s been a couple of months since I first had Amber do my hair. I’ve been back twice so far, and my hair is looking great.
I’ve had so many compliments! I know of 5 people that started going to this salon after seeing how great my hair looks, and they are all getting highlights too. If people like your hair so well, they go see your stylist, then you KNOW your hair looks fab.

I just wanted a trim, walked in & there were 3 people in chairs on the left with 3 people working on them, nobody waiting and no other employees in view except the receptionist who asked what they could do for me, told her just a trim, asked if anybody was available now and she said sure, then asked my name, put it in the computer, didn’t find it, asked if I’d been there before, blah blah, during this conversation another employee comes out from the back, walks up with a wad of cash without even looking at me & starts talking to the receptionist about what she counted, how many 20’s, etc., they began their own conversation while I was standing there with my unfinished conversation, after about a minute I realized that they did not value me as a customer enough to give me their attention & finish making my appointment & let me know when I could get in a chair, after about a minute of being ignored after having been interrupted I just said «You know what? Never mind» and I walked out. There’s plenty of other places I can get a haircut

This is craziness, two star overall rating?
I kid you not, this is a moment where Unilocal credibility could be questioned. Or maybe the low rating is due to the small number of reviews that actually made it into the totaled score.
Anywho. I went in last night for a trim and a coloring. I rarely have time to treat myself to an all out hair appointment, but I MADE time last night.
Tired of my standard hair do (black on black), I wanted to switch it up and add some color in my life. I googled some ideas and screen shot a few photos for the stylist to work with. My idea centered around various shades of brown/​auburn.
MIA was my hair dresser, she has tattoos on her arms, and an angry Unilocaler before me definently was talking about someone else. Mia is knowledgeable, cool and confident in her profession. Since I rarely have the time to go in and get my hair colored, she made helpful suggestions about a style and color that would last and wouldn’t require so much maintenance that I would have to keep up with. I greatly appreciated that. She got right to work, and I couldn’t have imagined the outcome any better. My hair consists of the shade of brown I was aiming for (which could be hard to achieve, granted my hair was black) and mia added several different shades of brown highlights, which added something special to the whole thing! And after expressing my love for my long hair, the reason why I thought only a trim would be necessary, she talked me into long layers to give me some style, which really made the difference and gave me a fresh new look while maintaing my length. SCORE. The whole experience was refreshing, she had great tips and really knew her stuff! I left mastercuts beyond satisfied!
I here on declare that whenever I get my hair done, I will drive 20 minutes out of town and into Kaneohe to get my hair did by Mia ONLY, it was that great!
HIGHLY recommend.

if you ever want to get your hair cut or styled go to Noe she’s awesome! the only person I like to go to. I got my hair layered and ombré and she did a excellent job! my first time I went I had this other lady cut my hair and she did a okay job. I asked her to give me bangs she took a piece of my hair and copped it. it looked very ugly I probably could of done that myself but overall the hair cut was okay. after that experience I never wanted to come back. one day I walked by master cuts and ran into Noe she is very nice and made me feel comfortable she had told me about the deals that we’re going on at the time. so I decided to give it a second try she did such a awesome job! if you ever want your hair cut or styled go to NOE!

If I could I would give this place no stars! Took my 8 yr old in today. By the time she was done it looked liked someone had taken a bowl and cut around it. I then told her I did not like it looking like that I wanted it faded in. So she tried fixing it and it looked even worse. It was uneven and by that time I was done and just wanted to leave. Took him somewhere else so they could fix it. $ 18 down the drain! It’s obvious the girl didn’t have a clue on cutting kids hair. Never again will I take my son there. Stay away from the girl with tattoos on her arms/​hands.

Made appointment for 1:00, wasn’t taken in until 1:37. Requested 1.5 inches off of the bottom… 1 cm was cut. Not happy. Would not return. Enough said. I did have a coupon for their September special so at least haircut was inexpensive.

I had previously donated 10 inches of hair in January and was in the process of growing it out again to donate. I come in and ask to cut the sides and neckline as they were getting bushy and not acceptable for work. First thing… 2.5″ off the top! ERRRM! I figured it is what it is and just let him finish. I walk out with a mullet/​bob cut. All the while my face shows exactly what I think of what has occured. The entire time, I might mention, he is talking to his friend who happened to walk by and chatting up a storm and not paying any attention to what he is doing. At one point he brushed the hair by my ears down and cut horizontally across to way past my ear… It wasn’t even a straight line!
Ended up going to Regis to fix the absurd helmet of hair on my head. And went back to state my concern and displeasure and JON thought the cut was fine and said no refund was necessary. I will be calling on Thursday to talk to the manager Chai (who is very nice).
Very displeased. He did come over from Fantastic Sams in the mall (exactly the reason I did not go there). Brittany at Regis was wonderful and fit me in when I was just going to go home and shave it off.
$ 20 for something terrible on my head and attitude because he thought he was too legit.
