No one is perfect but I love that when a business is informed of an unhappy customer, they go out of their way to right their wrong. My 2nd experience with Russo’s was nothing short of amazing;from the follow-up, the delivery, and receipt of fresh and warm pizza. The Andreas was exceptionally yummy and the chocolate cake once warmed was utterly delicious. Sometimes people deserve a 2nd chance to make a first impression.

I’m not trying to be a NY snob, but seriously. It’s just not NY style pizza at all. The dough is too thick, and the sauce is really sweet. The size was incredibly small for a medium — NY slices are big, no matter the size pie. The pizza was mediocre at best. I’m upset that they advertise NY style when it’s really not. Also, $ 17.81 for a medium pepperoni pizza. Well, that’s NY prices for sure. It just seemed like a lot of money for what I actually got. The restaurant itself looked very nice and its in a very busy area. Was hoping this would be my pizza joint, but I won’t be back.

If it weren’t for the awesome gluten-free pizza that taste amazing they’d get 1 star for customer service. It’s Friday and no one is at this location placing orders, only 1 party of two is currently dining, and the phone isn’t ringing constantly… so now did you burn my pizza? The guy only has ONE job to do in the back, make pizza and not mess it up. I’ve been to this multiple times by always calling ahead and I’ve never waited longer than needed. I was told 15 minutes and it’s now 30 minutes. I was offered a beverage for my trouble. Really dude? I was given the burned pizza as a consolation. Next time just give me half off or something for my trouble.

Food is good. Service needs a bit of work. Hubby and I always go with the Greek pizza and it’s always fresh and delicious!

No one«check in» for a discount on delivery. It shouldn’t matter either way. They won’t honor it. Very poor customer service. Hope pizza is better than mgmt.

Me and my husband were far from our home in Houston so decided to eat here because he’d never been. He ordered the Pasta di Mare and I ordered Fetuccine Alfredo with Chicken. It was excellent and so tasty. My Greek salad was the best I ever had! The cappucino and cannoli did not disappoint. Our server«Little Mike» was great. He was very attentive and came through with every request and refill! You guys are great and keep it up! We will return for more great eats! Two thumbs up!

This place was good. I got a slice of pizza. Prices are pretty steep though. I would give more stars if the prices went down on certain things, not everything. No reason they should be that high. It’s not like a high quality restaurant. It’s very clean. Not bad.

We popped in by chance: the food and drinks were delicious and the staff friendly and accommodating. I am giving 3 stars because we ordered three different beers and they were out, plus they gave us our bill instead of asking if we wanted dessert or coffee(which we did). It was no big deal, but it will help them to know this for future patrons. Overall, good job, I would come back for sure.

Here is the deal, the food in Katy is never more than 4 stars, anywhere. The food at Russo’s is not an exception. That being said, I am a fan of this place when I’m not in the mood to cook, and I want decent food. It’s nothing to write home about, but it’s consistently good. On Thursday they have a fantastic special of 4 topping medium pizza for $ 10. You can’t beat that when trying to feed a family of 5 at a restaurant. Be mindful though, the service is the biggest downfall this place has. It’s never really consistent, but if you don’t expect too much you will enjoy your meal. All in all my rating is more accurately 3.5 stars.

Giving this place two stars. 1. Service-it was ok, kinda slow. And they were not even busy. 2. Food-the garlic bread was good, pizza not so much. I understand that New York style is thin crust, but as soon as you pick up slice everything falls off. Not to mention the pizza was not even cut right. 3. Payment-we were waiting 20 minutes for them to get the credit card system working. The guy taking payment said that he will just pay for the meal himself, now what kinda of person would I be if I let him pay for my family’s dinner. We had to leave and find ATM to withdraw cash and go back and pay. I will not be back.

The food is sub-par. It is not all fresh toppings and they take cheap short-cuts as far as how they list their items in their menu and how it comes out in real life. Canned veggies, soggy lettuce, very poor delivery service!

The pizza is great but the takeout process is awful. The online ordering process is down but you don’t know that until you put your order in with payment information, then you get an error. I proceeded to call multiple times and it went to voicemail. On the 5th try, I got through.

Love their pizza. I give this business two stars because delivery and pick up service is only realistically available on the weekdays. I have tried to order delivery on several weekend days, however they almost NEVER answer the phone. The one time I was able to speak with someone on a weekend day, I was told delivery window would be 1.5−2 hours. I’ve also attempted to use their online ordering system for delivery or pickup due to the fact that getting someone on the phone is impossible. However I’m ALWAYS greeted by an error message about the online ordering system not being available. I understand restaurants are normally busier on weekends, however don’t offer delivery or pickup service on those days if you can’t even answer your phones. It would be nice if someone would just pick up the phone and ask me to hold. I’d be perfectly fine with that. To the business owner: If you’re restaurant is busy due to a huge flow of weekend patrons and you don’t have enough staff to send out for deliveries, the least you could do is have someone to answer the phone so I can place an order and come pick it up. Until then, my pizza cravings will be handled by another establishment.

Stopped by for a lunch and had the special. Salad and calzone. $ 9.99. Salad was fresh, included was dinner pepper, tomato, cucumber and olives. Ample size. Calzone includes your choice of 4 items. I had chicken, onions, spinach and Canada bacon. Crust had a great crispy ouside, thin moist inside. Sauce was a little bland. Only critical issue was the calzone was missing… the taste wow. It was good, plenty big… just did not excite the taste buds. Will eat there again.

I love Russo’s! Such great pizza and a little taste of New York. I love to add ricotta cheese to my pizzas. They also have great happy hour deals. The ingredients are fresh and we have not been disappointed.

Amazing food and service! My favorite restaurant in Katy, Texas. Russo’s New York Pizzeria served us the best calzones on the planet, and I know my calzones. The ingredients were so fresh and nothing was too overpowering. They are so good, I always order one to go as well. Upon entering, I placed my order at the counter for lunch. I was free to select my seating. A nice server gave me a drink and kept checking on me until my food was ready. It took about 15 minutes for the calzone to be prepared and cooked. Once I tasted it, I did not mind the wait at all. I waited longer for the next one to be cook, which I took home and enjoyed later. This location also delivers! I have not used the delivery service… yet. Every one in the restaurant, including the manager I placed my order with and the server, were kind and spoke to me like a real person. They smiled, laughed, and had good banter. They were thoughtful and encouraged me to return with my family. Customer service is the big selling point here.

Pizza was great! Service was great and friendly! Place was clean. Can’t really ask for a better experience eating out with the family. They even took time to answer our questions about their 28″ pizza. Will be back for sure!

The last time we went we spent 4 hours having a meal because the kitchen mixed up our order and the kids had to wait an extra 30 minutes for their food… VERYVERYBAD service, and we were still expected to pay a tip! Believe it or not we went again because friends wanted to go… ITHAPPENEDAGAIN! The first slice of pizza has a nice crispy crust but don’t go further, the rest of the pizza crust will have soaked up sauce by the time you get to it and it’s soggey. Definatly not worth your money or time. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with this place!

Celiac Friendly! They have a Gluten Free menu with lots of options, and they have allergen precautions in place for the kitchen: separate prep area, trays, etc. Manager seemed knowledgeable and explained everything to me! We already loved their pizza and food before my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac… It’s been my favorite pizza place for years, as I love their NY style crust and tons of topping options and specialty pizzas! And now my daughter also loves their GF pizza, so we can all continue to enjoy dining here. Thanks so much!
