So tried this place out for the first time. It’s just down the road from us but where it is located we didn’t think it would be really good but probably average. I am glad to report this place was awesome. The food was good the service was great and they came back to our table several times to check on us. We even had a second person that asked if we were being helped after we sat down. Fried rice combo was really good as well as the pot stickers and fish sauce. There was a kid behind us who chucked his bottle on the floor. The waitress picked it up and played with the kid a little before it became a game to him but my point is that they seemed very customer service friendly. When we left they all said see you next time. And they will.

Went during happy hour. Great prices! Great service. Very fast. I had the chicken fried rice. Delicious. Had some fried gyoza and a couple crab sticks for appetizer. My son had the teriyaki steak. He loved it. It actually looked like steak fajitas when it came out. The steak was on top of a bed of onions on a sizzling platter. I had a little of it and have to say it was pretty good. Also ordered the shaggy roll. It was good.(Just a little small compared to other places) We will definitely be going back.

Unfortunately the food was not as good as I had hoped. Presentation was just not up to par compared to my expectations. Cowboy Roll– presentation wise it was such a dissapointment for a signature roll and just did not taste fresh as I would’ve liked. 3 pieces of Albacore — unfortunately the Albacore did not look as fresh as I’ve seen it at other restaurants and it tasted like it was not. Shrimp Tempura Roll — basic menu option that you usually can never go wrong with which is very hard to mess up and it was good as a complimentary roll to everything else. Read a lot of the reviews before deciding on stopping by and had high expectations and left very disappointed. Might try again but left with a bad taste in my mouth. Customer service was great though. Unfortunately being my first time I couldn’t decide if it was the chefs working who prepared the orders but I didn’t finish my food and paid for what I had purchased just to move on. Decided to visit another sushi spot because I truly left with a bad taste in my mouth

We stopped in late on a Thursday as was surprised to see that they are open until 10 pm during the week. Not many people eating at 9pm, but a few. The waitress was quick to take or drink and appetizer order. We got edamame once it came out we decided to get some Sashimi before actually ordering are rolls. Got SeaBass and Tuna, both were excellent cuts and large pieces too! I ordered a sashimi bento box and a roll. Girlfriend got some rolls. All was very good and will return in the future. Roll with coconut on it is a must get. I don’t like coconut on food and this is a great roll!

The food here is absolutely delicious. We come here often and have not been let down on the sushi or rice options. Every thing I have had has been well prepared and flavorful. The lunch social is great, although the menu can be confusing, lacking explanation of some of the rolls on the lunch menu.(Rocky roll, rocket roll, rock n roll) That said, the iced tea is not very good, and the service, while okay at times, is really awful at others. So the service is hit or miss, but the food makes us come back even though we know the service might stink.

Stumbled across this place after we moved to Katy and it’s a great sushi place! The food is good and the people are very friendly. Coming here during the week is a breeze as there’s always tables available. However, we did stop here on a Friday night and I was shocked to see that every seat was practically taken. We sat at the bar and service was SUPER slow(they only had 3 servers) but they did the best they could with only 3 servers. I hope this tells them they need to hire more people to work on the weekends though! We also order a lot of take out from this place and the lady always remembers me when I stop by. Overall, great sushi spot in Katy, just be careful if you decide to go on a Friday night.

Wanted to try this place, but at this point I probably won’t. I called a few days ago and left a message, I also sent email. Both were not replied to, I again tried calling today but it says mail box is now full. I was trying to take my wife and mother here for mothers day but can’t because of the non response of management.

First time here! It was really delicious and worth the price! Got five different rolls for $ 28!!! :) Coming again next time for sure! Only thing is it takes a bit to get served. I guess because of the amount everyone purchases. Must be patient!

This has been my new favorite sushi place since it opened. Love the lunch specials and every sushi roll I have tried so far. Pink lady, eel avocado, Mandy roll, shrimp tempura. Also their salads are amazing. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came here for lunch. We had been searching for a good place to eat that was somewhat close to the hwy and saw the sign for this. «heck yes, Sushi«! Well it was awesome. The tuna sushi is amazing. I had the chicken hibachi and it was out-of-this-world which came with miso soup and salad, so good. We also tried the hot sake and spring rolls, YUM! Very authentic! The inside is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is very ambient and nice! Perfect service with very nice servers! We will certainly be back!

Servicer is knowledgeable. Her service was great. Always checking on us. Timing and tempo is perfect. She gave us the true meaning to «I’ll be taking care you today». My wife and I came during lunch. We ordered 2 of the sushi roll special(choose 3 rolls for $ 13.95) and a order of fried chicken fried rice for my son. Everything was delicious and a good sized portion.

I was looking for a sushi place in the Katy area and stumbled upon this on Unilocal.First off, they have sooooo many different selections!!! It took awhile for us to decide on what we wanted to order. So, like always, our eyes were bigger than our stomach so we ordered like 8 different rolls and an appetizer for 2 people. Needless to say, we had two boxes to go lol. The sushi was delicious and fresh, I enjoyed each roll and each roll were decent size. Honestly, two rolls would have been more than enough to stuff me. Since we ordered a lot, they presented our sushi on a massively large boat. It was a bit overwhelming at first but the presentation is definitely what pushed the 4 stars over the edge to a 5 star place!!! This is the first sushi place that has impressed me on the way they deliver and present their food. If I were to open a restaurant, the presentation of food is definitely one priority. Besides their awesome and delicious food, the service was great too. The waiters were all nice and friend. They came by a few times to check on us and our drinks. I do recommend this place if you are ever in the area and I myself would like to go and experience the sushi boat again, maybe next time with more people!!! Lol

Came here during happy hour. Rolls and sushi were very good. However, stay away from their uni. I like uni but it was awful here. I normally don’t order uni from smaller sushi places because of the quality but the pictures posted on Unilocal were so tempting. This is all preference but the sashami cuts were very thick. For some of the fish I liked it, while others I wished it was cut a little thinner. We wanted to order more sushi and rolls. We waited a while but there was only one waitress and probably 5 – 6 other tables, so she didn’t come around till 3 – 5 minutes after happy hour ended and she wouldn’t let us order more from it. I thought that was really rude. I waited a good 15 minutes while trying to catch her attention to order.

My husband and I stumbled on this great little restaurant on our way out of Guitar Center– stopped in and had the BEST sushi in a very long time! We ordered the spider roll and several types of really fresh sashimi. It was really obvious that they take great care in the presentation and respect for the food. It was not only pretty but super fresh and high quality. We eat sushi probably 6−8x a month and will definitely make this our new«go-to» for our sushi fix! Great service and really nice atmosphere. Highly recommend it! W and M Berger Katy

We were craving for sushi thought we Give this place a try. Jumping to what you want to hear about the food! Start off with green tea, and already started off on a bad foot. Hot green tea socks here. Usually Japanese/Asian places have pretty decent tea’s. Super bland! Lol save that money and ask for hot water. My favorite thing to order is nabiyaki udon. I must say it was quite alright the broth was subpar wasn’t as flavorful. The udon noodles were nicely cooked, chicken chunks were surprisingly tasty! Maybe I came on a bad day! Would give this place another go. Ordered a variety sashimi and it wasn’t very fresh tasting. I did go on a Tuesday night which may explain all the subpar dishes and hot green tea.

This is one of those places where you just have to try it to believe it. I am very impressed with the food and the décor. The music could be different. A little more upbeat than the bluesy stuff they were playing would have made my meal more lively. But, the food really spoke for themselves. My husband ordered raw fish sushi rolls and I ordered all vege sushi rolls. We both enjoyed our meals. They have very fresh and very hearty vege rolls such as asparagus nigiri, so tender, and black mushroom sushi, so flavorful. So, if you’re vegan or eating with someone who is, this is a great place to dine. AND, they have happy hour! Randie Lin Blogger Follow me on FB @ My Food Freedom and my blog @

Walked in and had a seat within a minute, granted it was an early Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy inside. Their happy hour menu had some decent rolls at $ 6 each. I ordered a Shaggy and Dragon roll off that menu and asked about the Chef’s special, OMG roll. It took awhile for me order to arrive, but that’s a good thing since it was being made to order. I liked how the philly cheese in the OMG roll actually didn’t feel like a slab of cheese just placed in the roll, but melted good along with the roll when it was. Wait service was friendly and always asked if I was ok or needed more water.
