Average service and average food. Mac and cheese came out cold in the middle, but barbecue pizza was pretty good. Wouldn’t come here just for food.

Good pizza, appetizers, and drink specials combined with a great atmosphere make this a nice dinner spot. For those from Chicago, this isn’t a «true» Chicago deep dish, but it is still very good pizza. We had the spicy fried pickles and bacon/macaroni bites as appetizers and both were very good. The bacon/macaroni bites were unique and really tasty. We then had the Meat Me deep dish pizza and it was very good. They also have great specials if you join their free rewards program. We got $ 17 off our bill just for being a rewards member!

Ordered take out from here because nothing else was honestly open. Came inside maybe 15 customers there, stood at the waiting area for maybe 8 minutes and no one came. Finally got the bar the bartender stood in front of me didn’t say anything he helped all of his customers then finally came over. A medium 2 topping pizza is 20 $ very overpriced. The pizza was pretty much okay it wasn’t the best I had. The put the bacon and sauce on first then the cheese and pep. It was okay nothing pretty special. Prolly won’t be coming here again. We ate two slices and trashed the rest.

Got take out from there last night and we really enjoyed it. Here are a few tips to make your dinning experience more enjoyable. First off parking is crazy during peak times. Plan ahead and unless you lime to wait and you like Tom’s of people I would suggest going when it’s quieter. I was greeted by Devana who was warm, friendly she was very attentive Now on total he food. It was ok. I would say on this visit the service was better than the food… sad face for us

Couldn’t have named it better advertising-wise, but unfortunately it’s just another overpriced place to get an average pizza. For us, the name was all we needed, assumptions were made, expectations set; if lofty. Overselling/overpricing fits the bill if the food meets those expectations, and we will return to a place often if they are surpassed. I would give them a pass if the pizza were reasonably priced for the taste. The dough was tougher than average, and not the best I’ve had, in fact I think I like Domino’s new crust better. The cheese wasn’t top quality and barely acceptable for a bar. The sausage was undoubtedly salty but not bad on the spice. Oh, and greasy, yes very very greasy. Just look at our photo. The table-side task of the pizza cutting with serving is unnecessary and seemed awkward and even a little overboard. But it was a nice gesture, just too much hype, again. The caprese salad was pretty sub-par, ouch, how do you mess that up? Try nasty basil, bottom quality mozzarella, even worse balsamic, old/not fresh tomatoes and olive oil… must i continue?! Can’t I at least expect fresh? The baby loved it though, poor dude. However, the service was fantastic, I’ll give them that, hands down, from greet to departing, and that saved another star. Pretty large beer selection though, and tons of large screen HD TVs so you can’t miss a play! So overall we probably won’t be back unless I(not we) am craving a specific combination of beer, pizza, a game and proximity to home, in which case I’ll reassess.

This is a great spot to have a beer and lunch. The $ 7.99 lunch combo is a must have. You get a personal pizza and bottomless salad. I was really pleased with all our food today. The kids menu has nice selections as well. Love your Texas Beer Selection and a beer feature everyday for 3 $ awesome.

This is an abomination of deep dish pizza. Looks and tastes like Pizza Hut. If you know real deep dish you know it doesn’t take 20 min to cook. The place is in a strip mall and feels cheep. I also got the Thai Fire wings 9 small boneless wings for $ 11, not a lot for the money but the flavor was good.

I give them 4 stars simply because I really enjoy the food here. The wings are great, the mac and cheese is awesome, and the pizza is really good, any of it. All of the ingredients taste fresh so I never have a problem with that. Where this place is lacking is the service aspect. Every time we’ve been here we’ve had some issue with the waiter or the hostess trying to sit us at another table with other people or some other issue and it’s different every time. When we come here we usually come here with family(about 7 of us on average). They have a hard time seating us because they’re not made for more that 4 – 6 people at a table so we end up waiting for a little bit, which is fine and we understand. Where my problem lies is with the hostesses, they tell you 20 – 30 minutes and you might not get seated for about an hour to an hour and a half and you see others getting seated ahead of you. This last experience we had that issue, there was 2 people sitting at a 6 – 8 top table… The waiters are ok, we’ve had some people that were pretty green when it came to serving tables in a busy environment and as an ex-waiter I’ve experienced and lived through it so I understand I don’t knock the waiters there. Where I knock them is what I order an appetizer, I want it to come out before my pizza(or main course if you don’t order the pizza), not 90 seconds before and now I have a super cluttered table. So I’ll keep my 4 stars for this review simply because the food is great, service and vary from visit to visit but the food(in general) will remain the same and that’s ok by me. My note to the owners: Find some decent servers, some that can look at the guests and can anticipate their needs, know when to pre-bus, know when to put in orders. Train the hosts/hostesses not to sit 2 people at a table meant for 6 – 8 people because you tell a table that big 30 minutes then you sit 2 people at a table that would accommodate that party, chances are you just lost that big table to Russo’s or Grimaldi’s that are just a short drive away.

This time, the pizza was hot and delicious, not to mention filling. I deduct a star because I found some odd floaty thing in my drink, which I do not like. That’s pretty much my only complaint, but it is worth a visit

Let’s face it, there are not many places in Katy that I get excited about but this one may warrant a UYE. It was a long day and we needed some comfort food to go. Using my Unilocal app, I perused other Unilocalers pictures of the food and menu to order a medium size Chicago style pepperoni with extra sauce. They answered the phone quickly and within one minute my order was complete and ready for pick up in 25 minutes. So far so good. In exactly 25 minutes, we went to pick it up along with a slice of strawberry topped cheesecake. In the car, I could smell the fresh strawberries and the warm wafting smell of the pepperoni. When I opened the box when we got home, the pie was perfectly crispy looking and not oily. As I bit into it, I did not perceive the extra pizza sauce that I ordered, and the crust fell short of the authentic Chicago style pizza that I am used to. Overall, the pizza was tasty and the cheesecake was magnificent. I hear the beer selection is decent and I think the patio is would make for an excellent summer night hang. I am considering hosting a UYE here in Katy if anyone would be up for the drive out to what I call, East San Antonio LOL a.k.a. Katy, Texas. C’mon you know you want to put some cheap gas in the car, drive out to Katy, hang out on a warm summer night and eat some pizza and drink a cold beer with me.

Second time being here after the grand opening the service has definitely gone down. The pizza is still good but definitely over priced. I had the spinach chicken avocado salad this time around and it’s not even worth getting. They put too much dressing on it. Made it extremely sour and too vinigery to eat. Hardly any chicken or avocados in it. Typically people would cut up the avocado and fan it out on top as presentation, same goes for the chicken and you can mix and cut the salad however you like afterwards, but everything was already pre-done. As if they just got a huge bowl. And mixed everything ahead of time and just put it in a bowl when ordered. We didn’t order the pasta at all, but we looked over at the table beside us and it looked extremely bland and dry. A little disappointed that they just went all out on opening day and never kept up with it. Not coming back. :(

I have been going to Old Chicago for 20 years across many states. This one is not as nice as the ones in Colorado but that might be more nostalgia speaking than anything else. This OC is very new, clean, with a very open air feeling. Great deep dish pizza(not Chicago style) but still very good. 30 or so beers on tap and tons more in bottles. Both bartenders were very friendly and I will definitely be back. Update review 2⁄17 had to take away a star… Went in and asked for the sound for the duke vs NC game and was told ‘no’. Politely told no but all the same one of the best rivalries in college basketball and you can’t get sound? I am certain no one was listening to the shitty music that was barely on.

On a forever quest of finding a Chicago Style pizza in Houston. We were seated right away & our waiter Wayne was very helpful & welcoming. He explained how we were able to taste several beers before actually ordering one or we could blend beers. This made it fun. I liked El Jefe & Perfect Moon blend. We ordered the app with garlic bread, parmesean fries, & fried pickles. All three were good pickles were crispy and dipping sauce had a lil kick. We ordered the lg Chicago Meet Me. It was good the bread of the pizza was buttery only thing it didn’t seem too much of a deep dish as other chicago pizzas we have had but still yummy nonetheless. They have a program that you can earn points as you go for your visits and on your birthday you get a free pizza. I liked the vibe of the place. Had great service! Overall: recommended & I will be returning.

I think that our visit was too close to the grand opening. The kitchen is having issues getting food correct and getting it out in a timely manner. As we sat an hour and a half for lunch we witnessed the manager giving tables around us free food because of mix ups or delays. Although we did not have any issues with our order, the service was slow. The pizza was«runny». I picked up a slice and it was so limp that the toppings and cheese slid off leaving me with just a piece of wet crust. After piling it back on, I ended up just eating it with a fork. The best thing about this place is the bar. A good selection of beer. It would be a great place to come after work and hang out with friends. We will come back in a couple of months and hopefully things will be better.

If you are ready to taste the greasiest pepperoni pizza Chicago pizza then this the place for you. I had the Deccoroni pizza. I was stoked at first and then began to realize all the grease and pepperoni salt that was filling me up. I’m a pepperoni pizza kind of guy and this one was just too much. Dominos pepperoni is my most favorite pizza to date and I’m just waiting for a «sit down» restaurant to replace it. Then there was dessert. My wife and I had the giant chocolate chip cookie which was not impressive at all. The cookie seemed to have stayed in the oven a bit longer then anticipated. The center of the cookie was just about hard while the outside was tough to break. I have a feeling that Chicago style pizza is going to have to wait because I’m convinced I didn’t have any that night.

Ok. Having worked in the restaurant industry before I know the first week is tough. We will try it again in a few months and will update the review if it improves. It was busy– which is expected for a new place. We sat down and fairly quickly our drink order was taken. Good selection of beers and other fabulous libations. We ordered our food and waited quite a bit to get our appetizers. Was about a half hour. The appetizers were ok. Nothing fantastic — but was ok. Hubby had boneless buffalo wings and we shared some garlic bread. The reason for the 2 star review was for the initial wait for the appetizers and the quality of the food for our entrees. Server was great and friendly Btw. I had a deep dish pizza which was lacking sauce and was burnt — see pic. Hubby had a steak sandwich which he said the meat was dry. He barely ate it. Oh well. We will try again after they work out the newness.
