Great, fast food. They use real beef for their steak which is a nice change the odd, slimy, beef like mixture most Chinese places use. Everything is grilled to perfection. The shrimp is my favorite thing to get. Portions are generous. Plenty for a meal. The noodles are delicious. You can substitute brown rice if you want and get orders without vegetables. I wish I knew what was in their teriyaki sauce. That’s what really makes this place. They have a good variety of things for a small place. The egg rolls are worth getting too. All in all, great food, fast, accurate, appropriately priced. I only wish they delivered.

LOVE this place! Cheap meals, more than enough to eat and it tastes amazing! Plus, everyone that works here is so nice! Before the first time here I had went to another teriyaki place and decided that I pretty much hated teriyaki. But I decided to give it another go and I’m so glad I did! Their teriyaki is amazing!

The food was good and fresh, and the veggies did not include onion or bell pepper which makes us very happy! We will return

Always fast and so friendly! Has to be one of my favorite places to eat hands down! I usually get their yaki soba with all white meat and it never disappoints. It’s also nice for the fact that it’s healthier than most places in town, the motto«it’s healthier here» definitely rings true.

This is an ok place. Priced too high for the quality you get. Dried out chicken, won’t cook to order fresh veggies, I won’t eat there again. It was much better 15 years ago.

An enjoyable, healthy alternative to the other establishments in the area. I had a yakisoba bowl with white meat chicken. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the chicken was good. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side but I won’t complain. The girl working the register was sweet and friendly, and the place was very clean and bright. If you don’t have a lot of time but you don’t want typical fried fast food, this is the place you want to go :)

The family and I went to try Samurai Sams because it seemed popular and we like teriyaki. We found it very mediocre with small portions, so-so meats and prices that were a bit high for what we got. I thought the teriyaki sauce was good but nothing was cooked in it(which is traditional teriyaki) and it was haphazardly slopped on the dish. I thought the steak meat wasn’t really the right type… it should have been more of a thin sliced flank style beef that will actually curl somewhat when cooked. The chicken looked much better with decent grill marks. The portions were quite small — barely one serving of rice(½ cup), a smattering of vegetables and maybe 3 oz of meat. We also tried the California roll which I found pretty flavorless especially the rice which is the heart of sushi. Overall, a disappointing experience…

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the Tri-Cities, especially when I want a relatively healthy meal. I love that you can customize the meal with all white meat chicken and substitute brown rice. The ingredients are always high quality and the meat is never fatty or inedible. Also, try the crab puffs. They aren’t the typical greasy, deep fried ones, and they have ample filling. This place is consistently good, every single time.

Recently visited Samurai Sam’s on road trip through the Tri-Cities. I enjoyed a large all-white Teriyaki meal. I always have them skip the vegetables and it was fantastic. The chicken was moist, not dry, and flavorful. They did not skimp on the Teriyaki sauce. All of this was delivered to me in only a few short minutes. Excellent service. Excellent food.

I heart this place! I always have the same order and they already know what I want when I walk through the door – great customer service! My favorite is the Veggie Yaki Soba noodles with extra Veggies– under 500 calories. YUM!

I dig this place more than words can express, it’s a Tri-cities institution although they were located in richland at the beginning of time. I just feel a tad healthier when I eat lunch at sams! Fave is the chic bowl w white chic, brown rice and veggies. My tummy is thankful when we devour SSams food!

Swung through here the othe rnight to pick up some Teriyaki to bring home for dinner. It was my first time here, so I decided to swing for the fences, and ordered the Sumu Bowl, a beef and chicken combo plate, with rice and vegetables. The lady working the counter assured me it was a HUGE meal, with lots left over for other meals. Sure… I can use lunch the next day. When I got home, while impressed by the size, I was not blown away. It wasn’t much more food than what I would get from a combo platter at Chungs Teriyaki back in Silverdale. Quality wise, I thought the chicken was good, while the beef was a little dry. The veggies were tasty, and the rice was the proper texture. What really made the meal okay, and almost got it a 4 star review, was the sause… really, really tasty. Getting a bite of rice and veggies with plenty of sause almost made me not want the meat. I was a trooper and ate it anyway. It was good enough to make sure there is a next time, and maybe I will try the other end of the spectrum, and get their rice-less Teriyaki bowl and try some of their grilled egg-rolls or crab puffs…

I love Samurai Sams! I usually have the Chicken and Steak bowl. This is the best chicken teriyaki Ive tried in the Tri Cities.
