Best place to grab a cheesesteak and fried pickles. When it’s warm out there is plenty of room to sit outside and eat. Any other time I would recommend calling your order in and taking it back home. The place only has about 3 tables in the building.

Tex Mex Philly may not be on the menu but it’s been my favorite sandwich for over a decade.

I kept hearing from an old roommate how much he loved this place, and he ate there often. I finally got over there to check it out and was not nearly impressed. Perhaps this place had been built up too much in my mind after hearing others talk about how great it was, so that might be impacting perception. First time in I had to do a burger and fries. The burger was ok but not worth what it ended up costing me so I knew I could live without going back for that. However, the fries were very good and a later visit I decided I like their hot dogs. So if any the area I might stop and pick a dog and fries, but no desire to go out of my way to eat there and I have other places I would rather go for a great burger, which is supposed to the hot item here.

Became sick immediately after eating one of the cheese steaks. It was bad and lasted 3 days. Can’t prove their food was the cause, but I’m pretty sure it was. I don’t even consider it when thinking of places to go eat. That’s a shame too, cause it’s right down the street.

Love this place. You can not get a better Philly Cheese Steak anywhere in Kenosha! I’ve tried, and always just wish I would have gone here. Friendly, family friendly, and a nice south side location.(We don’t have much around here: / Can’t recommend it enough. Everything is good.

Best phillys in town especially the Billy’s Philly with pepperjack cheese. Tons of great sides to choose from too. The place is really only made for takeout though and they do close kind of early.

I love this place! Literally standing room only, but I usually just pick food up to go. Philly chicken sandwich is fantastic and you have to get the cheese fries! I’m sure all the other food is delicious as well but it’s too hard to stray from my favorites so I’ll probably never try anything else. The last time I was there, a male worker was creepily checking me out the whole time, but you know what I say to that? WORTHIT!

Another great family run/owned business. My mom loves the Philly cheese steak. I usually have a chili dog or a black angus burger and the brew city fries with a Sprecher root beer. yummmmmm They have a large menu of American food. Great prices too. You should go here.

I am a fan once again! I think the new management has really pumped some life back into the small old place. Nothing against the old owners,(Joni and Hector?) but the food quality dropped off before they closed. I figured it was because they had opened a 2nd location and got stretched too thin. Fast forward to this week and I have to say things are better than ever… I know the Philly Cheesesteak is the big draw but I went for something different… A chicago style hot dog. I have to say, it was perfect. Perhaps not in the Hot Doug’s range but quite good. The relish was even the correct color. So… If you stopped going. Give it another shot. If it is is your first time, it is worth it.

SRO is reopened under new ownership/management, and is just as good as it was before. I was beginning to wonder if they were ever going to make it through their remodelling, but they opened in November and I have been there twice since, and it is sgreat.

If you love Philly Cheese Steaks, you MUST go here. It’s all we order, ever. Always hot, fresh and more then enough to fill the average person up. The owners even know my order before I even place it, regular philly with everything and add bacon. And the fries mentioned before are the beer battered. Get them with cheese sauce. We’ve also had other items off the menu, poppers, onion rings and chicago style hotdogs, all good as well. Be sure to stop in and check them out. They also now have a «north side» SRO, right next to Ron’s Place.

Philly Cheese Steak was one of the best I have ever had. Not sure if i would want to ruin it with bbq sauce or pizza sauce but I have never had one that way so I can’t be the judge of that. Burger looked like it arrived pre-packed but that could be how they pack their burger. Amazing seasoning on it though. Fries were delicious. Not sure which ones we had. Luckily they were out of the krinkle cut fries which are probably the least exciting ones of the THREE kinds they offer, which I accidently ordered. 5 stars for it being such an amazing day and being able to sit outside and then walk our food off for a little bit around the quaint lake side neighborhood in which it is located. Not sure how I would have felt about having to eat inside and I couldn’t have waited the 5+ minutes it would have taken to get back to my house.

I’m always in this place it’s that’s damn good. The Philly Beefs are fantastical! They serve them on soft rolls, smother them with peppers and onions and don’t skimp on anything. The chicken sandwiches are excellent as well as the burgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage bombers, etc. They have a ton of appetizers including fried cheddar curds and great fries of different varieties, my favorite are the Brew City Fries(steak cut and seasoned). They give you giant proportions of the appetizers so keep that in mind when ordering. Finally the people that run this place are ultra-nice and knew my name after only going there a couple times. Now I’m basically a regular there. To be honest, grab it to go or sit outside its kinda hot and cramped inside; thus the name of the place. UPDATE9÷16÷09: Not sure what’s going on, but this place has been closed basically all summer. First because of the construction on 75th and now who knows. They actually had a weird«toy sale» going on Labor Day weekend. It would really be a tragedy to eating in Kenosha if this place is closed for good.

Wow, what a cute little place. Outside the door, on the floor, says it all(check out picture). They have great burgers($ 4) that come on their fresh, daily delivered buns. Their beer battered Philly Fries are also out of this world($ 1.99). Just be sure you don’t mind standing or sitting outside on their patio! It can get busy so stand in while you can.
