First time trying this place because it’s close by. Did a pick up, the order was late, had to wait extra 10 mins or so, then when I got home I noticed they forgot part of my order. I called and talked to the shift manager, she sounded like a young kid with no customer service at all, didn’t even apologize for their mistakes. She just said to bring receipt in for the replacement. No wonder this is so dead when you go there. I’m never going back again.

Dickie’s has been an overall good experience for us. We tend to eat there on Sundays because Kids Eat Free with adult purchase. The brisket is my wife and kids favorite, along with onion tanglers. I’ve moved on to either their Cheddar Sausage or their Chicken Breast(I’m surprised how good it is) duty their Baked Potato Casserole. To top it off they give free ice cream. It’s a hit with the kids, they often ask to eat at Dickie’s.

Just came to set up catering for an office party. Dylan(or Dillon, didn’t ask for spelling) helped us out and was super friendly and helpful! Definitely awesome customer service. Tried that potato casserole and damn that was good. I appreciate the friendly and prompt service. Thanks Dylan(Dillon)!

Dickey’s BBQ Pit. I rated this only 2 starts, you definitely do not get the value for what you pay. I guess, I’m a cheapskate, but when you ordered 2 order’s of the 3 Meat Plate for $ 13.95 you expect a whole lot more. If I knew, it was sampler plate, 4 pieces of spicy cheese sausage, 2 pieces of turkey and a couple scraps of pulled pork, 2 pickles and an onion piece. Seriously with 2 large drinks comes out to over $ 30.00. Also got 4 side items, mac«n» cheese, green beans w/bacon and potato salad. The mac«n» cheese was okay, nothing special, green beans had no bacon in it. The potato salad was pretty good, had a sour cream dill flavor to it. The spicy cheese sausages were actually very tasty, I really liked all 4 pieces, I got. Yep 4 pieces, lol. The turkey was okay, brisket was good. But I was still hungry for what comes with the 3 Meat plate. The spicy bbq sauce was good, I really like that and you can have as much as you want, so that was a plus. I guess the price of BBQ must be really expensive, cause I don’t think I can afford to eat there often and for what I got. So, if your willing to eat expensive BBQ and still be hungry then this is the place to go. This was my 2nd time there and the you don’t get the bang for the buck at all. I mean, not that I was expecting to get tons of of BBQ for 13.95 a plate, but at least I should be full somewhat.

I placed my order online, it said it would be ready at 5:51, I got there just after this, and they hadn’t even started it. I had to wait another 10 min, I got home, and was incredibly disappointed. We got the ‘Giant Stuffed Baker’ it was so very dry, and hardly any toppings on it. The butter tasted more like margarine, very little sour cream, and a potato that was just cut in half, and was dried out in the middle. The 2 meat plate, we got pulled pork and ribs. The pulled pork was mostly fat, what little meat there was, was too dry to eat, even with barbecue sauce. The ribs were, so pitifully small, and had very little meat on them, While they tasted better than the pulled pork, there was something off about the taste.

First visit: I broke down and stopped by since the smells constantly teased me on my daily walks. Whatever seasoning they use on the fries is great! The different BBQ sauces are good and the staff was very friendly. Second visit: Not so pleased. I have to remember that chain BBQ restaurants rarely make good sides. I had the green beans and bacon(most likely from a can) and the mac and cheese was like the mac and cheese you’d get from the Wal-Mart or Golden Corral buffet, basically nothing special. I got the 3 meat plate(2 servings of beef brisket and 1 serving of polish sausage) and I would not recommend the sausage. It tasted like it was boiled. The beef brisket was just okay. If I buy anything here again, it will be a last minute option.

I love this place. So does the family. We go nearly every Sunday for the kids eat free day. Staff is always friendly and always remember us. Reasonable prices and they are never out of what food we want. Sometimes the food isn’t as hot as if like it but they have it posted that it’s all smoked before the place opens and kept in a warmer. Like true bbq, so nothing to complain about. The place is kept clean. Men’s bathroom kinda stinks but thats because smelly dudes use it. Free ice cream for everyone and they try to move as quickly as they can always. I’ll miss it here when I move.

Have no idea why there are so many negative reviews, but my family and I have been to this location twice and we love it. The staff is super friendly and even though it’s been about 2 months since we were there last, they seemed to have remembered us. Food was great as always and my boyfriend can’t get enough of their beef brisket and spicy bbq. My daughters pulled pork was a little dry, but soak it in some bbq and it’s not really a big deal. We love this place and will continue to go back.

Not happy with the service or the online ordering. We went to pick up after ordering online and still had to wait in line. The. They got my order wrong even with the receipt fight infront of them. I’m not impressed.

Totally meets my expectations of what a casual BBQ joint should be. We usually go on Sunday when kids eat for free. I usually have a 2 meat plate which includes chicken breast and beef brisket, and I have never been disappointed. I like the«little things» that are available, such as pickles, onions, 3 types of BBQ sauce, and free ice cream. I also appreciate the friendly and relatively fast service.

Alright, so my hubby had 2 coupons for a free sandwich with purchase of a drink… So we had to give this place a chance… even with the low ratings given in previous reviews from other customers… Upon arriving, the place is spacious and clean. The Gals that helped us were nice and friendly. We ordered a brisket sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich, sides: waffle fries, coleslaw, and tangled onions, along with 2 drinks. The Drinks come in a souvenir cup(though we are not the souvenir cup type to bring it home to keep). The food was alright. It’s not the best, but decent. Hubby said the coleslaw compared to KFC, the waffle fries were standard, tangled onions were good, and the sandwiches were alright. I don’t normally do buns(because I’m trying to be gluten free), but according to my hubby the bread buns were pretty good. Pulled pork and Brisket was alright… Definitely needed bbq sauce… As the meats are dry, but what do you expect in a fast food chain place, right? There’s a decent amount of meat on each of the sandwiches, so hubby had some of the brisket and preferred it over the pulled pork. For drinks we tried the sweet tea, pretty good… And we also had some of the free ice cream(yes, the machine worked) on a cone… super sweet tasting… I’m sure there is some high fructose corn syrup in there, but the free ice cream is a big plus for families that bring in their kiddos. We didn’t get a chance to see the bathrooms. So we can’t comment on them… As far as prices, even with the free sandwiches, the 3 sides with 2 drinks came out to about $ 13. So if we added the sandwiches a meal for 2 people would have come out to $ 30+. In my opinion kinda spendy for a place with okay BBQ. The reason why I rate this place with 4 stars is for the friendly/great customer service, clean premises, and decent food. Not sure I would come again(doesn’t compare to a place like Famous Dave’s, etc) unless we have another coupon. But if you need a bbq fix in this area, this isn’t as bad as all the other reviews say it is. :)

Worst bbq I’ve ever eaten. Glad I only bought a kids meal, and not too much money was wasted, usually we buy a lot at one time even if it’s our first time eating there. Usually, when you raise food to your mouth you can smell it. The potato salad had a weird scent to it before I ate it and it made me hesitant on trying it, it was bad when I did. The beans were bad as well. Also, my kids were complaining about the ribs that they got. There was barely any meat on it and on the other side, it was burned. In the back, I could see an employee wearing a wife beater tank top and I feel as if it’s unsanitary. Never going there again.

Upon arriving at Dickey’s I was immediately given a warm welcome from the pleasant employee behind the counter. Good first impression. Being that I’m not a BBQ aficionado, I had little expectations or comparisons. After asking for lunch recommendations, I was pointed toward the Little Hoagie. This came with one of their Homestyle side dishes, in which I chose the«Green Beans with Bacon.» The girl was more than willing to help me locate their BBQ sauces, drink fountain, and free ice cream dispenser, which was extremely helpful. That being said, I was’t entirely impressed with the food. The pulled pork in my sandwich was dry, and required a hearty helping of sauce in order to give it a little moisture. My green beans had absolutely no bacon in them, which was disappointing. After I finished my meal, the kind employee came over to the table and asked if she could clear my mess for me. Overall, I would say the quality of the service(rather than the quality of the food) would bring me back.

We had them cater for our Thanksgiving dinner and we were amazed in the quality and quantity of what was provided. We had the Mac n cheese(good), pull pork/beef(tender), beans(honestly too big of a tray but good), coleslaw(hubby adored it), two types of bbq sauce(we couldn’t differentiate the spicy from the regular), rolls, utensils, plate serving utensils. I feel like I’m forgetting something but nonetheless everything was impressive. The gentleman that came in to set up was nice enough to remove his shoes and set up on the countertop, even though we could’ve done it ourselves. Only down fall? No free ice cream that you would’ve gotten if you were to dine in. All that for a little bit more than $ 120. It served about 6 adults and 5 growing kids with leftovers. Hoping to try to sit in at one point and try out the ice cream.

First time trying this out, I didn’t smell the bbq, but there’s something happening. The foods is ok, not as I’ve had when in Texas. It’s kid friendly, self order & pick up, has ice cream treat as part of the meal. Price is decent. Avoid going there on Sundays, it’s madness! You serve yourself the bbq sauce, and deal with your own mess. Think of a fast food, except you’re paying more for a dry, blend bbq beef! #justsaying

After getting some delicious brisket from the Dickey’s in Auburn, I gave this location a try a couple weeks ago for lunch. The brisket was similar in quality and the server cut them thicker per my request but the attitude of this location just seems a little dead. Even after I attempted to make a few jokes with the server he almost acted like he was doing me a favor when acknowledging my presence. Seems like classic signs of mismanagement. Kent frankly turns my stomach a little in general and the area this in it is no different. Some of the best food I’ve ever had has been in the«hood» but this simply isn’t it. It reeks of corporate stank and maybe I should have just known better.

Going to give it 3 stars until they work out the bugs. It’s obivous this is a new restaurant and they are still training. For right now be sure to pack your patience because you will need it but the food is worth the wait.

My fiancé and I were really excited to try this place out when it opened but unfortunately, it left much to be desired. We ordered the Picnic Family Pack which included 1 choice of meat, 2 sides and 4 rolls. Our choices: BEEFBRISKET: It was okay, but it was on the dry side. We definitely had better at other BBQ establishments. BBQBEANS: Fairly good. This and the brisket was the best part of the meal. MAC&CHEESE: Bland. just bland. ROLLS: So bland. no taste… worse than the Mac & Cheese. The staff was friendly enough. I didn’t mind too much that the service was slow and that they had initially got my order wrong because I understand that they just opened this location. My rating reflects my disappointment for the food. For $ 30, there are other nearby BBQ joints that I would rather spend my money at.

By I’ve experienced better, I’m referring to the Dickey’s in Auburn. Opening day should have warned me off of this place. Sadly, I gave them another try hoping that being the third day open, hoping that they’d gotten their act together. I stood in line at this place on opening day for most of an hour. They’d also run out of ribs by the time I was there.(They’d opened at 11, I was there at noon.) I called in a to-go order today and they told me it’d be 40 minutes until I could come pick it up. Against my better judgement, I agreed. Even though I should have been able to just walk in, pay, and leave, it took another 10 minutes once I was inside. Beyond on all this, after using the gift card I had, my remaining total was $ 0.70, and their system wouldn’t take any of the three credit cards I had on me. Nevermind that I’d just used one of them at a mini-mart moments before. Handily I had a single dollar bill on me, or I never would have made it out of there. Being Texan, I know this isn’t the best BBQ.(It’s a franchise chain out of Dallas.) Mostly, I came here because I had a gift card, and I expected it to be quick and convenient. It was neither. I’m not in a hurry to return. I may try them again after they’ve been open a while and work the kinks out.
