We decided to stop by for lunch on the way to key west, this place had some great review on Unilocal, unfortunately the popular ox tail only available on Wed and Sat, so we went with chicken and grounded beef, no regret, very tasteful, my son loved them. Juice is fresh, love this place!

My breakfast burrito was great! Plus the staff took the time to suggest and let me try various juices — which were fantastic. Seriously, the juice is so good! Great service, great product, great prices

Had a chance to stop by here before going snorkeling next-door, and really glad we did. Simple, no frills eatery, serving of some delicious the authentic Cuban food. The lady behind the counter where very friendly, and will take the time to explain what each of the dishes are if you ask. My eyes stop at the ox tail, especially given it was still early in the day and most of that was already gone, so I got that platter along with some vegetables, a starch potato like plant dish, and some black beans and rice. Ox tail was very flavorful, and the sauce over rice made it it will magically delicious. The order was a giant heaping mound of food, so two of us ended up sharing the platter and it turned out just the right amount. I think with the large café con Leche The total only came out to be about $ 17. Great meal, and great deal for sure for two people!

Popped in for a bite to eat on our family vacation and we left happy and fed with lots of leftovers. Our waitress was so nice, the Cuban coffee was so good and the food was even better. Ropa vieja had the best flavor; the Cuban sandwich was so big(but delicious). We started with croquetas, which is a MUSTGET. Delicioso.

My gf and I was craving some authentic cuban food and we found it here. You can either dine-in or take out and the lady who owns the place is very helpful and sincere. The Ropa Vieja and grilled chicken was delicious. We were told from others that Oxtail is a must order but since they were very busy, the item was unavailable so I highly suggest ordering it if you have a chance. We came back the next morning for their coffee and it was packed. However, the coffee tasted great and very cheap. A good way to start your drive to Key West.

Nice place in Key Largo to get Cuban food. The new owners are friendly and keep the place extremely clean. They even expanded to allow more customers to come in and enjoy a filling meal. Definitely recommend to give this place a try.

What a pleasant surprise. This is very authentic place and the food is awesome. We ordered Ropa Vieja and Rabo Encendido(Oxtail). Our waitress Claribel made us feel like in home. 2 thumbs up. I definitely recommend this place.

The best(and I think only) place in key largo for real Cuban food! Being from Miami and coming to the keys for the weekends you wouldn’t think you would want Cuban food but the cravings for a pan con bistec can change your mind real quick… This place is a hidden hole in the wall and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

What a great little place! The service, food & of course the café con leche, were excellent! We were greeted with a friendly face and attended to quickly, which was great because we only had 40 mins to eat & leave for our snorkel trip! A definite stop for an easy, relaxed, delicious breakfast!

Awful service. 18% gratuity automatically added to parties of 4 or more. This is not the type of establishment that merits 18% gratuity. Also, why should the waiters care about their service when they are already guaranteed a heavy tip. Will not return.

I was very excited to hear there was a Cuban restaurant in key largo on my recent trip to the key on the Fourth of July. When my boyfriend and I went over to get some«good» Cuban food we wanted a regular lunch to go but wanted the meat split in two different meats that cost the same. The server tells us it cannot be done that I would have to buy it by the pound and it will be the same price. Thinking she knew what she was talking about we agree to buy by the pound. When she starts ring up the bill a same meal that would have been $ 8 turned into $ 16! Price For which unwound have gotten twice as much meat of each of the two kinds we ordered and two more side dishes. I was very upset that the server led me to believe he price would be the same and she ended up doubling my price. Guess there went the excitement of finding a Cuban restaurant. What a shame I will continue to eat somewhere else when we take trips to the keys.

I’ve been here twice before and the service is always subpar. We must have been waited on by the new girl, but she is terrible. We ordered 6 Croquettas and got 4. We got our own drinks(I’ve been here for 35 minutes and I’m still waiting on my cortadito). Other tables are upset too. I won’t be coming back until they get it together. Update: I’ve now been here for 1 hr and 27 minutes. There’s no hope in site. 4⁄5 of us got our food… and finished it. STILL waiting on the 5th order. Why, god? Why me? Why do I have to sit here and rot away my morning? Why is this waitress still taking orders when it’s apparent she’s awful. Keep your fingers crossed for me guys. I want to make it home before 2019.

I never like to give bad reviews but this one is necessary for The sake of sanitation. The place really doesn’t look like much when you walk in and definitely looks as though it needs better maintenance, especially considering you see roach poison powdered in corners of the room. There are quite a few flies that linger around the room and pester the customers which doesn’t set well with me considering there is nothing outdoor to this dining area nor partially. My son and husband had the chorizo empanada and the ham and egg empanada, which they seem to be happy with both of them and they were certainly filled nicely. My American omelette with a little bit on the crazy side and I never even got my toast that was supposed to come with it; I only ate about a quarter of it. What was supposed to have been potatoes looked more like fries and tasted like fries cooked in with the eggs. My husband was satisfied with the Benny’s plate and had a great sauce to go with it. My sons Cuban sandwich seem to have about 90% more bread and the inside dressings. The breakfast was just okay, but I can’t get over seeing bug poison through out, flies flying around, and roaches crawling about on the floors and walls.

This is a Cuban bakery in a strip mall. There is no juice(it’s syrup) Egg white and sausage Sammy took 20 minutes, had the yolks, and like a half link of sausage Trust me y’all, Unilocalers got it wrong on this one. If you are looking for this type of place they are a dime a dozen in Miami-and logically much cheaper. Don’t bother

Stopped in for a Cuban coffee — our first so we don’t have a lot to compare too but it was frothy, smooth and sweet. We will be back for more. Is that worth a 4-star rating? Maybe not but the hospitality is incredible. Warm and inviting with open conversation. The food looks incredible so we have decided we will be back for an empanada… And maybe some pulled pork — and a little pork rind? Oh why not!

We stopped here for a quick pick me upper before heading back to Miami. We enjoyed some guava and cheese pastries. The kids devoured the chicken soup. And my wife and I loved the café con leche. We recommend getting the café lightly sweetened. Reminds us of Vietnamese drip coffee.

For the price this place is ridiculous. Their Cuban chicken is both tasty and huge. The bean and rice mix is a bit dry but plenty filling. The Cuban sandwich is 18 inches long and decent. The the plantains or the yucca. The smoothies are $ 3 and come in many flavors. This place is not fancy and doesn’t come with a view unless you are into parking lots.

I’m addicted to Cortaditos. I love Cuban Coffee. That’s why I ended up here. It’s The Juice House but I was there for some coffee. They have pastries, hot food, and sandwiches. and there was a really good hot sauce on the tables. I forget what it was called. Sorry! I recommend that, the coffee, and the Medianoche. SOOO good.

On the way to a Scuba trip in the Keys we decided that we needed a snack, plus we needed to kill a few minutes as we were somewhat early. Since I was driving I had Steven whip out his Unilocal app and asked him to look up sandwiches. He pulled up some chains and sit down restaurants and then searched«smoothies». The Juice House came up immediately and it sounded perfect for us, and happened to be walking distance from where the scuba spot was! We walked in and were greeted by the staff as well as an amazing display of Cuban food at it’s finest. I wasn’t that hungry so we split 2 empanadas and 1 papa rellena. Steven had a Cuban coffee and I had a tamarind juice for a grand total of $ 10. Everything was delicious and very fresh and Steven vowed that we would return here on another trip to get the rice and beans, yucca, pork, and whatever else was in that display!
