Gross and greasy food. I would give this a negative star if possible. Had«breakfast» here yesterday and was astounded at how bad eggs Benedict could be. I realize this is a burger joint, but they have a breakfast menu and offer to make breakfast food — which they should stop doing. It was awful and all the food on my plate was swimming in a pool of orange grease. My bf’s burger was awful too, and seemed like low quality grizzly meat. I guess this must be made with some of that meat with«pink slime» bc it sure seemed slimy. Would never ever eat here again. Save yourself the aggravation and avoid this place like the plague.

THANKGODTHISPLACECLOSED!!! Wow. This was the worst burger I’ve ever had in my entire life. I asked them if I could have my cheeseburger Medium and the waitress answers«We only make our burgers well done». I should have left as soon as she said that considering this means the burgers sit in freezers for weeks/months on end from a sysco truck and they cook it to a crisp to try to rid of the bacteria. The fries were soggy and gross. I sat to eat with 5 of my buddies with only one of my friends finishing their meal because it was chicken. The beer we ordered was flat and the whole meal was a disaster. There are so many place right next door that are way better than this place. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

Tried this place for a late dinner on Duval St. We had a huge lunch and a buger sounded pretty good… With so many choices, I would not go back here. The burger had potential, but I question the quality of the beef. Tasted like something that was processed/frozen at one point. My sweet potato fries were cold. The rest of my party ordered other things and thought it was o.k., but nothing to rave about. Our service was pretty good, all things considered. Apparently this place used to be called«Cheeseburger in Paradise» until they came to Key West and Jimmy Buffet sued the crap out of them. This is a chain that originated in Hawaii. I liked the menu and the prices, but I think they may have taken the low road in food quality and kitchen management… Sorry.

This place looked kinda good and I was starving. The menu didn’t look too appealing but I went with the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. It was ok, nothing special. The chicken tasted plain but the fries were good. Service was good. Wish I could’ve picked somewhere else to eat around the area that day.

Good food, nice place to eat outside. Our party had fish & fries and 3 burgers, Fish and fries were very good. I had the tough to pronounce burger with the fried egg. Everyone satisfied with the food, no complaints about the service. Kids had smoothies, always nice to see those on the menu.

Loved my bloody mary. Me and my buddy stopped in for a quick drink. I have been here with my wife also. The food here will hit the spot. Very close to all the other bars. It’s on Duvall. Good people watching place

Our waitress was Amber and she was awesome! We got the special, the biscuits and gravy, and the wrap. We loved the food and it was all great. They have a breakfast special $ 3.50 for mimosas and bloody marys. We got our food and drinks quickly and always had full waters and mimosas. Amber did a great job, request her if you can.

I came here about 10 years ago and remembered huge burgers and incredible fries. Not sure if it was because I am older and more experienced or the food changed, but everything was just okay. Except the guacamole! Wow! Really good. I would recommend coming here for guacamole, people watching and happy hour. Friendly great service.

This place is awesome! My girls and I were in key west Friday morning and decided to go get some mimosas. Cheeseburger had them at $ 3.75 each! Now thats a bargain. The place is really cute and it has a great beachy feel. The service was great, and our waiter made sure to keep the mimosas coming. We did not eat, as we had already ate breakfast, but we did see a couple of burgers pass us by and OHMYGOSH, those burgers looked amazing. When in key west, definitely visit Cheeseburger!

Expensive, slow service, bloody burger soaked the bun, did not get to eat with the family and the mgr. gave us 15% off and my burger to go. Should have comp the burger and 15% off. Real young inattentive staff. 8 dollar grilled cheese.

Omg! Just like Hawaii! Love it!!! The burgers are great and the atmosphere is equally good. They would have got 5 stars if it was not for our ADD server! Lmfao!

We were STARVING and weren’t sure where to stop in for a late dinner(9 pm) on Duval Street. We checked out the menu on the street and decided that the prices were fair and we could all use a hamburger. I underestimated how GOOD the hamburgers would be. I had the Cheeseburger with an Attitude and it reminded me of a variation of a Big Mac from McDonald’s(just because of the Thousand Island Dressing). It was gigantic, delicious, and was garnished with a pineapple. We also ordered a basket of fries and an order of conch fritters. My husband enjoyed the conch fritters, but the fries were definitely a major winner. They were perfect. My server forgot my drink — which is okay as I had water as well — but it wasn’t a perfect experience. The place was clearing out since it was so late so I know she was not very busy. Also, they couldn’t accommodate our party of ten so we had to sit at different tables(also weird since the place was not very full, couldn’t we have pushed two tables together?).

Not a fan. Too college boy hangout for my taste. Service is less than mediocre, half our food was cold and the other half greasy. I don’t like wait help that chews gum while taking orders. I’ll never return.

While in KW, the wife and I were trying to decide what to do for dinner. In my book, one can NEVER go wrong with a good burger(who woulda thunk)…and as we were strolling along, Cheeseburger just happened to be there. So in we went! Like last time, we got great seats for people watching(an important activity in KW, especially during Fantasy Fest), and beer was served immediately. We perused the Hawai’i themed menu(still haven’t figured out why they don’t have an east coast version), which proved to be a waste of time. I ordered my typical bacon swiss burger, while the wife ordered a basic cheeseburger. After we got our burgers, we dug in and compared notes. Same good burger, same good fries. DEFINITELY a good idea to revisit this place.

When you get to this place, just keep walking down Duval to another spot. Very Very, overpriced burger. Nowhere near as good as the chain that is in Hawaii. Customer service here sucks, and the price is nowhere near what it should be.

Is this a quintessentially Key West place to dine? No. Do they serve up a dang good burger? Yes. We stopped in here for lunch having no expectations. They have a nice patio, great for people watching– though we sat a little further back, in a tucked away corner by the stage(which was not in use). I ordered the Guacamole cheeseburger, and my fiancée went with the bacon cheeseburger. Both burgers were huge! The patties were thick, moist, and juicy; they were probably cooked somewhere near medium(we didn’t get a choice). Very tasty! The buns tasted fresh, though the bottom bun didn’t stand a chance. It quickly began deteriorating due to grease/toppings. The guac burger was topped with a generous amount of guacamole and melty Swiss cheese, plus two strips of crispy bacon, which I donated to the Mr. Again, all of the toppings were very fresh and tasty. We shared an order of onion rings, which was huge. They had a very thick, crispy breading– almost panko-like. I’d probably skip these next time, but that’s just me. $ 32 for two burgers, a basket of onion rings, and two soft drinks, Overpriced? Oh, absolutely. Are you going to do much better eating anywhere else with a Duval address. Doubtful. In conclusion, once you grow tired of fish sandwiches and conch salad, Cheeseburger is a solid option on Duval.

Every time I go to Key West we go to this place. It is very reliable and super tasty! Our favorite meal to have there is breakfast! While there are many options for a delicious breakfast in KW, Cheeseburger has a wide array of affordable, tasty options. My personal fave is their Breakfast on a Bun. It is sooooooooo gooooood!!! The portions are all very generous and you certainly won’t leave hungry! Also, it is conveniently located in the middle of Duval Street and the set up is perfect for relaxing and people watching — a KW specialty!

I went there with my parents who were visiting from Arizona and we stopped in because we had a couple of beers and we were hungry. It was a Saturday night, it smelled delicious, and my mom wanted to get out of the heat and humidity. We ended up ordering the conch fritters and the garbage burger which is a big burger that is actually a challenge – eat it all and get a beer for free. Everything was great up until our waitress served us. She is in need of a serious attitude adjustment. We asked if we could get the garbage burger and share it knowing full well that we would obviously be disqualified from the challenge if we split it. We just knew it would be a big burger and it looked fun as it has all of toppings and then some(guacamole, jalepenos, egg, bacon, pineapple, two patties… on a bed of chili cheese fries). She was very rude about the request and we had to just keep explaining to her that we didn’t care about the challenge, just wanted the burger! Then the conch fritters came out and they were terribly burnt. When she came back around, we asked her if they could be taken back because they were burnt. She replied«they are supposed to be burnt» and my father said«this badly though? It is almost inedible» and she replied«well, that is why I don’t recommend that people get them here – because they don’t taste good». WHHHHHAAATT??? She didn’t advise us against them and it doesn’t say in the description on the menu that they are burnt! She refused to take them back to the kitchen. We don’t like to be rude patrons so we just shook our heads and plowed ahead. We got the garbage burger and it was interesting with all of the flavors. I would say that it would be quite easy for a person to eat everything – not necessarily a hard challenge that you will see on Man vs Food. My parents then decided that they wanted to try the key lime pie with was $ 8 for a tiny little slice. My dad asked the waitress how much it is for the entire pie – just out of of curiosity. She said that she thinks they would charge the $ 8 for each slice in the pie… the way those slices were, there are probably about 16 slices in a pie. She of course said everything with an attitude and didn’t check with the kitchen or management. So overall, the waitress was a little snot and the food was mediocre so I will be sure to avoid this place next time I am down in Key West.

Decently priced burgers. I got the Avocado burger which was pretty good. My friends got $ 5 piña colada, but they had very little alcohol in them. Nothing really special. Very casual place, like a sports bar. Our waiter was nice, but service was a bit slow. Took forever to get our orders.

If it was my pick, we’d have eaten somewhere else. Glad I didn’t pick, because the food was really good. It’s nice to be wrong sometimes. It’s a chain. I didn’t come to Key West to eat at a chain restaurant. But the wannabe Buffet singer at Sloppy Joes was really loud and dude, it’s only lunch time. Tone it down a notch, will ya? And besides, its New Years Day, that had to be killin’ some of those still recuperatin’. So we got up and walked down the block, the men saw the word«Cheeseburger», and that is as far as we got. I had the black and blue and it was really, really, good. The bacon was crisp, the blue cheese not strong, but lots of it. Caramelized onions, and a thousand island sauce they put on nearly all the burgers. The onion rings were nice and flaky too. They serve Coke, not Pepsi, which is good, but it was a little flat. It is in the prime people watching section of Duval street, just east of the really popular bars. Note** I’ve eaten at Margaritaville before, for the novelty, but the burgers are what the song says«not too particular, not too precise». This was much better.
