We posted up on the outside of durty Harry’s to watch the street traffic on a Friday night. I love the fresh squeezed juices !!! But the best part was our bartender Mark. He was so awesome and attentive and never let us wait for drinks. Great service and a fun time. Check him out!

I can only comment on a short experience here, but it was during a small pseudo bar hop we were doing down Duval(as I’m sure most people do). Went up to bartender girl and BF wanted to order some shots which I typically stay away from, but hey we were in Key West-why not. I told him I wanted to order them and surprise him. I asked her for some Dirty Girl Scouts and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. Vodka, Kahlua, Bailey’s, and Crème de Menthe. That’s it. Evidently a fully stocked bar didn’t carry those things? BOO. Minus points for you. BF was stoked because then he could order what he wanted now which was Rumchata which was better than his previous suggestion of Fireball. We took the shots, signed the tab, and were on our way to meet his folks who were meeting us at another place, and magically he left his card at the bar-bartender girl lost another few points for not flagging us down before we left and telling me that(before I had to walk all the way back through the mob of drunk Spring Breakers). It wasn’t that busy in there when we were sitting down, i.e. we were her only customers and she was texting, so she should have yelled that we left the card before we walked away. I have a feeling that your experience here is largely dependent on your BAC, your chosen time of day and day of the week when you choose to visit this little pirate themed establishment. I would give it another shot on a busier night to see how they roll-they should stock Crème de Menthe.

Bloody Mary’s … Any time of day. My reason to come. Aside from people watch. They have fresh juice which I hear is phenomenal(as a mixer of course)

We had fun when we came before the rush, but then we returned and the bouncers had a serious attitude problem. Literally dragged my bf out and left him with bruises all over for not noticing we had to show ID in more than one spot. Will never come back here and I suggest nobody else does either.

The place is a Ponzi scheme, along with Rick’s. Owner is ridiculous and is the only place that charges a cover in Key West. Drinks are incredibly weak and when confronted about it the bar staff balks. Please save your money and don’t support a place that enjoys screwing over the customer.

I love to watch and listen to the guitar player and the band is generally good. I just can’t take the singer. Sorry if he has tourettes or something but his overdone mouth movements are off-putting.

First, a shout out to the great security staff. They were dealing with a line and some not-to-sober people and they were professional(and even agreed to give my husband some trouble after a devious request by yours truly). Even the security staff inside was helpful when I asked for other location recommendations(the crowd was a bit old and Caucasian for my taste). The bartender seemed overwhelmed, and my weak drink didn’t ingratiate him to me. The real reason I didn’t stay long was the Who cover band. While they were decent, the crowd they drew were definitely NOT. The old men were all on stools looking grumpy, and the old women were all gyrating and making spectacles. I get it, it’s Key West, maybe I’ll try Durty Harry’s again in a different season.

My husband LOVES Durty Harrys not for the food, or the the drinks but the live music is great. Go and see the Durt Bags. Live band that plays rad music that you can dance too. If you buy the band a shot of jagermeister they will play anything you request(within reason). We have had a few memorable nights here!

This place is dirty, and it’s hairy. Wait, it’s Harry. Ehhh. The drinks are flowing here, and it never seems to stop. Why should it? You’re partying in Key West, you’re probably all sorts of lit up and you have no cares in the world. Hurricane coming? F*ck it. You’re at Durty Harry’s, where live music is blowing your head apart with the classic rock hits of yesteryear(there was a little too much Bön Jovi going on, though. Cool it on the Jovi.) It’s a fun place to party, whether you’re 21 or 61. It reminds me of a spring break bar, in a good way. Definitely worth a stop and a drink.

This is the kinda fun we expected to find in KW… a fun party atmosphere, with a band(‘The DurtBags’) capable of mixing AC/DC, with Journey, Toto, Blink 182 and even more recent pop. The real beauty of this venue though is in its diversity, considering that Rick’s shares a common courtyard area affording both places a single(no cover) security line, and at least five different places within — wine/cigar bar, a high tech dance club, a VIP cocktail bar, a Bourbon Street style porch overhang and the main roadhouse style stage with ‘crows nest’ above and attached bar with a slew of big screen sports. I’m sure there are other venues in this world that pull this kind of bar nirvana off, but I’ve not run across many.

cheap drinks and a live band. While its not one of my MUST-GO’s when in key West — i do try to make it a point, to step in and check out the band for a song or two when im around the Ricks Entertainment Complex. This place is in the back tucked between the strippers and the clubbers. lol

I come here for one reason and one reason only. THEDURTBAGS. Great place to party for all ages. The Durtbags house band is THEBOMB! Classic rock cross-over to dance from John Bön Jovi to the Eurythmics, you won’t be disappointed. Interactive with requests encouraged, The Durtbags are all that and a bottle of Bud! I went here most recently with out-of-towners and family last weekend and it was a great time for all. Ages from 28 to 64, everyone had a great time. Once we left to try another place, everyone agreed to come back. Enough said. TIPS: LOCATION: Durty Harry’s is located in Rick’s Entertainment Complex containing eight(8) different bars. Across from Sloppies’ to the left, The Tree Bar(only identification is a Florida License Plate over a corner outside bar with a tree), is on the left, and Angelina’s Pizza is on the right. Walk back between the two areas to the bouncer check point, then straight back. The Durtbags are rippin’ it up straight back. COCKTAILS: Stick with beer(IMO) OBSERVATIONDECK: If you take the staircase to the right, there is an observation deck with a bar to the right. You can see the tables, people dancing and band on a small observation deck in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. The deck also follows around to the right to Rick’s for a secondary D.J. dance atmosphere overlooking Duval St. THEDOWNSIDE: The pushing! The shoving! The drink spillage! … HAVEFUN! Don’t forget: THEDURTBAGS are a MUST — starting at 10pm. DURTBAGSBIOS — CHECKITOUT…

One of the best places in Key West. We find ourselves wandering Duval Street and some how we always end up here. The drinks are reasonable and the band is always great.

This place is tucked away at the end of a short alley and easy to miss so don’t miss it! The band(I think Ronnie and Foss) was stellar!!! Amazing talent and voices and incredible sound and they didn’t even have the rest of their crew with them! Just like the rest of key west, don’t expect service though…

They have a good location on Duvall Street and I really like the courtyard layout. They have a house band, the Durt Bags, that play rock covers. I would normally rate this place 3 or 4 stars, but we had a 5 star experience on Thursday night. While we there, Brad Gillis form Night Ranger sat in with the band and shredded on some classic Ozzie tunes. It was quite exciting and we enjoyed to the max.

Of the crappy Spring Break-style bars littering the north central part of Duval, I’ve always liked this one best. It’s just straight-up live music featuring rock covers without a lot of stupid BS… many of these Key West performers think they are a lot funnier than they really are, but for the most part, the«Durtbags» just shut up and crank out the rock covers. I appreciate that. Like most of the dives in this area, the scent of long-stale fizzy yellow beer and cigarette smoke permeates the air. And again, like the aforementioned, your enjoyment of bars like this is probably directly proportional to your level of inebriation. I’ve never had any wish to get that drunk by my own design — but the music is still enjoyable enough for me to be able to hang out here in a general state of sobriety, without wanting to kill everyone in the bar. It’s tolerable, and that’s a win in my book… so whenever I’m in Key West with people who want to «party,» I tend to take them here.

Well I have been coming to durty harrys waaaaay before they changed the bar, and all ot that. It used to be a big horseshoe… it’s better now. I knw that was a time ago. I am old sorry… So this review is biased but it is a «review» so there! It is at the end of the ally below Ricks upstairs. Daytime is quiet — night time. rocking’! Anyway how can you not like DH’s. Over all, good place if you like loud music and bars and booze. Rail drinks sometimes like 3 bucks.(Danger) — never ate there but. at the beginning of the ally there is Angelinas pizza for that late night munchie fix. Durty Harry’s — a Key West foundation!
