This is the spot after a long day of shredding! Ideally you will get a spot on the deck on a sunny day during the warmer months of the year. It truly is heaven on Earth. I love the atmosphere of Keystone Village at the base of the mountain. This is the first spot on the right when you walk into the village. There is great music and food. All the appetizers are phenomenal! Grab a pitcher and a few apps with some friends after skiing and I promise that you won’t have a bad time! The only issue is finding a table because this place is incredibly popular, as I am sure you can imagine! Once you get a table, let the good times ROLL!

Great scenery but rude staff and poorly cooked food don’t make it worth the stop.

My favorite bar at keystone, as the bartenders are so down to earth and a great place to watch sports. The dinners are also very good as it is a sister restaurant to Zuma. I like eating dinner here over lunch as the lunches leave much to be desired.

Good burgers, good service, gets crowded weekend night so go for lunch on weekends and sit outside and enjoy the view. Nachos with chicken are the best I’ve ever had across the nation. 1 large order feeds 4 hungry adults. Prices reasonable. Our favorite place in River Run Village

Amazing time! Our waitress Kelly was super accommodating and very fun. She took great care of us and our large crew. Great place right off the mountain. We’ve been coming here for years and will continue to come for many more!

Greatest burger and steak in the village, best food/apps, best service, best drinks. Good TVs and awesome scenery both inside and out. Bartenders and wait staff will bend over backwards and the chefs only aim to please.

Simply because I had such a terrible experience at a nearby eatery, I thought I should honor these guys with a positive review. We had lunch there today. They were extremely helpful with our kids, brought our food quickly and were very attentive throughout the meal. Food was good, typical bar food stuff but that’s what we were looking for. We had a 20min wait for a table, but they offer text messaging when your table is ready so we had a chance to walk the village. Would definitely recommend.

Although the atmosphere was cool, the food was honestly shitty. my friends and i had nachos with chicken and it was a good size but severely dry and bland. im from Ct, so i know the food in colorado is a bit different… But the BBQ sauce was straight up revolting. My service was great and i would suggest just do drinks here

For being in-village and on the resort proper, it really isn’t THAT expensive. Food is good, the spot is usually comfy, and the staff is terrific. It gets very crowded sometimes, and they cram you in like sardines when that happens.

This could be a good place for a beer and a quick lunch that isn’t too pricey. Your expectations for the food shouldn’t be as high as the elevation. Ordered the mountain burger here. The mushrooms and onions were a nice touch, but the burger was pretty greasy. The fries were standard. Service was fairly quick and friendly enough. Overall, I would probably come back but try something else.

Really fun environment!!! I got the chicken burrito that was pretty tasty! I added guac because honestly everything is better with guac! Husband got the Cajun pasta. I LOVE all things pasta and this was lack luster. No spice at all. We adored our waitress — really sweet girl. All in all we had fun and the food was pretty good.

Pretty pricey($ 13 for a burger), but the food is pretty good. Not a bad option in the village. Has great views and a spacious deck. The reason that I’ve given it 3 stars instead of 4 is that they don’t have that great of a happy hour menu, in my opinion a key component for a good après ski joint. Overall, if your fine paying standard high ski prices, a solid option.

Perfect spot to have a drink after finishing up on the mountain. Waitress was very friendly and the special pulled pork sandwich was better than expected. So were the fish tacos. Their HH was only a dollar off beers and wines… Not anything too exciting, but atmosphere was great. It was probably the closest to a European après ski that I’ve experienced in Colorado.

Great place to have a bite after hitting the slopes. We were a party of 8 and we all enjoyed the food and the service. Food was good, we started with some wings, and they were good, a bit sweet and not too spice(but with a kick). Then, I had a cheeseburger and it was done well, at the temperature I asked for. My wife had a chicken sandwich and my daugther had the mac and cheese, both were very good. Service was great, very attentive and making sure we were enjoying our experience with them.

Conveniently located at the bottom Keystone, the Kickapoo Tavern is the closest bar to the River Run Gondola. We were drawn in by the sign out front advertising $ 2.50 PBRs. Knowing where I am, I expected to get a 12oz can for that price. Again, knowing the location, I would have been fine with. We were shocked when the 16oz tall boy’s were brought to the table. Other than the great price on PBR, the food and other drink prices resembled the location. Though our nachos were good, $ 24 for a plate of chicken nachos for 3 – 4 was a bit pricey. Cheaper food and more drink specials can be found if you are willing to walk farther into the village. But if you are looking to grab a quick cheap beer between runs or after a long day, the Kickapoo Tavern is where you want to go.

Food was good, but the views/atmosphere was amazing. I shared the Parmesan truffle fries and chips and salsa for appetizer and had Carne asada tacos for my entrée. I was not overly hungry so we had a lot of leftovers. The parmesan truffle fries were decent French fries, maybe cooked a TAD to long, with parmesan and truffle oil. You can definitely catch a whiff of the rich truffle perfume as these fries are near, making you really want them. I felt their subsequent flavor lacked the strength of parmesan and truffle, but overall good fries. Chips and salsa had potential to be fantastic as well. The chips were thin and non-greasy, but felt they tasted a little burnt or dry… not sure if they bought or made them. They cited have even simply been left in a warmer at too high a temperature or for too long. The pico de gallo was good enough that I saw past the mediocre chips in order to have a vehicle by which to eat the salsa! The carne asada tacos were served with a nice sized slice of avocado, sauteed onions, small sprig of cilantro and pinch of queso fresco and came with a side if green-colored rice and black beans. I added on sour cream. The taco shells were definitely put to their limit with the amount if contents their small size could contain, not a bad thing. The beginning, I thoroughly enjoyed my tacos, but nearing the end I detected a little extra saltiness in the beef and I had gotten to my limit of salt. Nothing remarkable about the rice and beans, but if you’re really hungry, I think it’s key to have them included on the plate because the tacos were small and might not satisfy a hearty appetite. My friend got a buffalo chicken wrap and was disappointed with the lack of buffalo sauce on the chicken. All in all a fine place for beer, snacks with friendly service and a great view/location. The food is satisfying but lacked perfection in some areas.

So, out of all of the places we checked out at the base of the mountain in keystone this place wasn’t too bad. The brisket they had was really good. The pulled pork pretty weak. But the overall average was solid. The highlight is the big Great Pyrenees that sits out front that all the kids seem to love. Cool setup.
