The spoon is my favorite place to come after a day of skiing. It is right off the base of the mountain and always has a good vibe. I love the bloody mary’s and mimosas! I also really like the chicken strips and delicious fries. I always try to get my friends to meet up here after a day on the mountain. They also play football games which is awesome! They also have a ski rack out front to put your skies on.

Great fish wrap, hearty chili, good prices, great service. Definitely one of our favorites at River Run Village

Mixed review. One day got advised they we’re super understaffed and anything from the kitchen would be 30 min + during an off time at lunch. Tried again next day at dinner and food/service was great. Blackened chicken salad was really good! Easy stop off River Run for a drink or quick food provided they aren’t slammed with people or understaffed.

Good prices and great food. We had almost every meal for three days at the Spoon. Best in Keystone.

Food is made fresh and delicious. Good value for the area. Service is nice and the owner is always around. The Cubano and big pig burrito are highly recommended. Soup is made from scratch.

Omg. This is the most sad and abysmal breakfast I’ve ever been served. We basically didn’t eat and paid and left. We wanted to like it, and we tried. The service staff was at least friendly, albeit hungover and lackadaisical. Other than that, there were NO redeeming qualities whatsoever. Everyone’s plate had a similar story to mine, so I’ll just describe my plate and leave it at that. I ordered Biscuits and Gravy. Sadly, my experience was so gross, I’ll probably never eat Biscuits and Gravy again. So, after drinking tasteless sad coffee, the food arrived. I dipped my fork into the gravy and it was ice cold. Um, they definitely do not make anything fresh, so some kitchen staff must have just dumped it on the plate straight from the walk-in tub where it had undoubtedly been sitting for days. Hungry, we told the server who seemed indifferent. A few minutes later he returned with a new plate. After one bite, I gave up. The gravy was still cold, the pork in the gravy was raw, and the biscuits tasted as if they came fresh out of a Pilsburry Pop can, only they were never cooked. We thought we were going to a place where the food was made with love. Nope. This food was made with hate. Never ever eat here. You are better off grabbing a muffin and a coffee from Starbucks. This is exactly what we did right after we bailed out of this crappy experience. Yuck!

Super rude service. Our server got extremely antagonistic with my daughter and me when we moved tables to allow four more people to join us, then re id’d me for my second drink. I have no idea what his issue was, but in the middle of treating me rudely he refused to make eye contact with me. Just left a bad taste in my mouth. Drinks and fries were fine, though.

We were already seated at a table near the entrance. The place was less than half full. One girl was cleaning tables. A bartender or two were 5 feet from us. A manager and server walked out to greet a table next to us who already had their drinks. They spoke for several minutes and we finally got up and left.

Hands down the best place to go to for quick YUMMY food and drinks after snowboarding! Service is excellent! My sister and I went to the bar across the street from them and sat at the bar for 15 minutes without being greeted once! We also went to another restaurant a lil further down that said they were out of ginger beer and champagne So when we ended up at the spoon we were beyond hungry and needed a damn drink! We started with a round of mimosas and they were amazing! Ended up getting a couple beers after that with their hummus platter, and bowl of chili SODAMNTASTY! Food and drinks came out quick and the staff for being slammed were so attentive and friendly… Which was much appreciated! Warning: chili is spicy and doesn’t need anything added(my sis learned the hard way) hummus was beyond good and when we asked for more pita bread the bartender was so sweet and had us a warm plate of pita bread in seconds! TWOTHUMBSUP!

Great spot to go for breakfast before hitting the slopes. They have a big egg breakfast with everything and everything was delicious. The coffee was great as well. And the service was attentive. It’s tight, and especially with everyone lugging coats, hats, and ski gear. But they do a great job getting around to everyone and keeping their glasses full and even better, everyone’s stomach full. Great place to go to take a break and grab a bite.

A group of us stopped in for an after skiing beer and snack. The service was terrible. Some how we managed to get our first round of beers without too much effort, but it took ages to flag down a waitress to order food. Once the turkey club sandwich arrived, it took a couple more trips up to the bar to get napkins and silverware. We didn’t even bother trying to flag down the waitress for the check. We just went directly to the bar to pay. I’ll be skipping this place the next time I’m at Keystone.

Service is awful! Hard to get a table, when you get a table it’s hard to get a server. They don’t come out to the patio to see if anyone needs assistance.

Terrible food, service is even worse. Even if you’re just pulling up to the bar for a beer… Bottom line, spoon café sucks! If only I could give zero stars

I came here for breakfast on a whim since nothing else was open. That was one delicious breakfast. I had some sort of scramble with pulled pork in it… pulled pork!!! I would have never thought of putting that into a scramble but it tasted amazing. The bacon was thick and delicious, just the way bacon should be. This was also by far the thickest English muffin I have ever seen. Also, our waitress, I think her name was Sasha, she did a great job. She was running the bar and serving tables and she was very attentive and friendly. When you come in to Keystone, make this your first stop!

Thanks to a rude waitress and bar staff for making our 12 year old son with autism feel badly. We asked to use their single use bathroom and then apparently he wasn’t feeling well and was in there for 5 – 10 minutes. They all kept walking by, shaking their heads and making snide comments. He could hear them the whole time. We won’t be back.

Love this place. Sits right on the river and while the food looked like it was going to be average it was actually soooooo good. And our waiter was really nice and fun!

Decent beer choices but the food quality is seriously lacking in comparison to the restaurant across the way. I ordered a cup of the Italian sausage and kale soup. It had a good flavor with plenty of sausage and veggies but it came out luke warm. My boyfriend ordered the BLT with French fries. The BLT was probably a 2⁄10 and those are hard to mess up! Fries were crispy though, one benefit.
