This place was horrible: food was cold, chef didn’t make the order right & the service was non-existent. Will never go back

Very nice place, I liked the food — chicken soup, black ran and chicken quesadilla! Not too crowded :)

Being that this place is located in the middle of Keystone Village you would expect the rent for those places to be extremely high which makes most restaurants overpriced and since they have a new tourist coming in every day service normally suffers. I say all that to convey how impressed I was with New Moon Café. Mix a chill vibe, outdoor patio equipped with chill reggae music and affordable healthy food options. You order at the counter and if the weather is good jump outside and enjoy the patio. Everyone is friendly and sending out good vibes. Great spot.

Yummy food, great location, friendly staff. I had the breakfast bowl and the green chili was pretty dang good! Sat on the patio in the morning sunshine… it was pretty great.(Visited in July)

My aunt and I went to this café to grab some coffee and breakfast one weekend and overall the location was great as it was close to where we stayed. The service wasn’t too bad but the reason for such a low score is that one of the chef’s making the food wore gloves, which is great, but then we noticed that they were doing all sorts of other tasks — cleaning, scratching their hair and ears, etc. and not switching out their gloves. I understand that sometimes you forget but it definitely did not make me want to return. I hope this helps.

We stopped in here looking for a quick place to grab breakfast. New moon café does not have servers, so instead you order at the counter and they call your name when your order is up. A bit cramped for all of the walking back and forth to the table, but it works. Honestly, by the look of the place I wasn’t expecting much from the food, but it ended up being pretty delicious. I went with the breakfast sandwich and choose a croissant with egg, cheese and ham, added spinach and added avocado for $ 2 more. My mother got the croissant French toast which I ended up finishing off for her and loved, and my brother seemed to enjoy his waffle. New moon café is definitely a no frills place, but it’s perfect for a quick breakfast and they do offer a Bloody Mary bar as well!

Had a quick mexican lunch. I forgot that here was not CA but CO. It’s not big or authentic, but I liked the atmosphere of the café. Music video was on TV and some hipster pictures on the wall. Warm inside.

This place is off the main drag through the village in Keystone, and therefore a lot less crowded even at weekend happy hour time! We accidentally stumbled across it on our walk to the parking lot. During HH, they offer all beers for $ 3 and have a great bottled local/craft selection in addition to wine, cocktails and of course coffee/espresso drinks. We shared a pretzel and nachos which were also pretty good. Though small, they have plenty of comfy seating, board games and in general, a super relaxed feel. The people behind the bar were so friendly, they definitely made our visit. I’ll be back to try their huge bloody mary bar!

Five stars! Great atmosphere, music, couches to hang out on, booze at very affordable prices. Had the Barbara breakfast hot drink with liquor and cookie, it was to die for!

I am new to ski towns/ski resorts. So I am guessing this might be typical of ski areas. The food is overpriced, serve on cheap disposable plates, ordered/received cafeteria style, and the quality is not great. The place is awkwardly laid out with people waiting in line and its very inconvenient to move around and collect your food. The food was slapped on a plate, small portions, and slightly below eggo waffle standards. A pretty big waste of a location.

Blah. Never good when a breakfast place serves microwave«scrambled» eggs — dry and spongy and just not good. Their black board has great sounding specials like huevos rancheros, but those eggs and a few dry black beans and corn tortillas are a poor excuse for huevos rancheros. And mind you, nothing against a place that asks you to bus your own tables(in fact my favorite restaurant in the world does the same), but at least wipe down the tables every now and then. To end on a positive, the counter service was friendly and they had a nice selection of can and bottle beer, but this place closes at 3pm so it’s not even open after the lifts close.
