Wasn’t busy but took very long to get food. Taco was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Literally dry, cold pieces of pork on a tortilla– and that was it. Nothing else. It was double the price of the place next door.

The staff was really nice and the food was great. My family had a little bit of everything and the nachos oh man those where the bomb!!! So good.

Really good food. My family and I stopped for lunch on our way back to LA. Had the chicken enchiladas and pork tamale. Quite delicious.

The customer service here is absolutely atrocious. I came in to inquire about their dishes that would work as party appetizers, well I was assisted by the woman who also happens to be the owner. She was completely rude. She was answering all of my questions with an attitude. At one point I asked her if she could show me the size of the dish and she slammed the menu down and went to the kitchen. She didn’t even bring the dish all the way out she just held it up by the doorway to the kitchen and said«here it is.» Ridiculous. I have never been more ridiculed in my life. Clearly they don’t care about customer service and it shows since the restaurant only had two customers during lunch hour. The food here is subpar at best. This place has begun to diminish and it’s clear by the owner’s attitude that she doesn’t appreciate her customers anymore. Skip this place unless you want terrible customer service and terrible food. Go to Tacos La Potranca which is right on the corner of the same street. There you will find great food and better service.

Stopped by on a road trip. The chips were good but everything else we had was pretty bad. The refried beans were over salted and seemed like they’d been sitting a while. The rice was pretty generic. Overall it felt like cafeteria food.

A local favorite for sure. Close to the movie theater, pleasant service, a variety of Mexican favorites that will even please the kiddos.

Quick to take our order, slow in getting our food. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. Hostess was nice, and we were seated minutes after arrival. Bathrooms were clean.

Waited over 45 min for our food for a party of 6 total. Other tables that got here after got their food before we did. The Camarones de la Diabla was midiocre; the 12 shrimp was really small, my plate didnt come with a side salad and the sauce for the Diabla was the worst because it wasnt anything special. All I tasted was mixed Tapatio and washed down to mix. 2 of the orders came out wrong as well even though we pointed at the pictures on the menu! Im just glad got they got me my correct beer. I wont come back here… EVER. I always go to Huarache King everytime I come to Ft. Hunter Liggett but we decided to try something new and man was that a mistake! Im upset at myself for choosing this place. I highly recommend Huarache King for its food, portion size, price, super friendly customer service and its just down the block!

Very normal Mexican restaurant, right down to the name. Good salsa. I had the Sopes and they were good. The place was nice and clean.

A local favorite. Salsa is the best! The service is friendly and accommodating. I Always get the machaca … An egg dish! Try it all with fresh horchata.,

I had the«Camarones al Mojo de ajo» and I don’t recommend it, the shrimp is sautéed with whole garlic cloves, the original plate has to have chopped or thin sliced garlic not whole cloves. Service was good but food wasn’t the best.

I used to LOVE this place, but it really has changed over the last 5 years or so. I would get the mole, chile rellenos, or the fajitas. It used to be fresh and tasty, but now the food quality has seriously declined. Heavy, flavorless, and uninspired is how it is now. What a disappointment.

Food and chips are okay; not exceptional. The service leaves a lot to be minimally successful. After serving your food; unless they know you, servers will ignore you. So, if you are hungry you can be satisfied with the food. If you expect more you will be left wanting. I have eaten there several times with the same quality of service-poor.

Here we found the best menudo we’ve had so far. All the dishes we ordered and the samplers were made from scratch. Their menu is very extensive and the restaurant itself looks new. My wife commented on the lovely décor on the walls and enjoyed her beef fajitas very much.

Best sit-down Mexican food I know of in a 50-mile radius. Simple but good. Love the salsa and rice. A few vegetarian options(whole beans are available).

We stopped by this little town to grab a snack before the big push back to San Diego from San Francisco. Who better to ask than a mailman strolling along which mexican food place he might recommend. He chose this place. We were greeted very warmly by folks at the restaurant. Orders were taken promptly and fresh chips and real salsa were brought to our table. As for our entrees, they could easily compete with many of the better Mexican establishments we have here in Southern California. They used authentic and flavorful ingredients, generously served with Mexican cheese and more salsa. The prices were typical and fair. Although well off the beaten path, we were thoroughly happy with this little place and would gladly recommend them to anyone in the area.

The food was pretty good. Fast service. There was way too much ice in the drinks though. The burger was exquisite, enchilada tasy, and the lemonade was pretty good as well. The fries had almost no flavor, but overall the restaurant was a place I would probably go back to if I was given the chance. Good value for money.

meaty meaty meaty yes. meaty Because when you ask for any dish … you get way more meat than you’ll ever need. Not at all el cheapo rip-you-off-o kind of place. You have to ask for vegetables if you want any. No less than three pounds of meat on a serving… make sure you eat your fill and take the rest home and have it for lunch. tasty. correctly flavored. Very tasty refried beans. Very clean inside. The place is situated in downtown King City on the main strip.

I love Guadalajara. When I’m in King City, this is really the best place to eat. I almost always have the burger and fries, which are both always delicious. The salsa for the tortilla chips is excellent, and the service is A plus. Couldn’t be happier with this restaurant. It’s affordable pricing with great service.
