Usually wouldn’t write a review for a Supermarket, but if you’re looking to find one there might as well be reviews for it. I’ve never had to do a large shopping order here as we are usually just stopping in to pick up items for one meal when we are visiting the area. I know there is a lot of competition in the area, but this is the only place we tend to shop… so I am NOT comparing this to other markets. This Hannaford always has a nice produce section that is well maintained and never seems to be lacking in fresh items. The meat and Deli areas also pretty solid and have nice quality products. I’ve never had a bad experience here as the staff has always been helpful and friendly. Not much more to tell you — good location, decent prices, helpful staff, clean and great produce and meats.

Hannafords is a good market — competitive pricing, excellent selection in all departments such as natural foods. The bakery department has really good breads. The deli has delicious salads in addition to the regular cold cuts. I like the cranberry couscous and their different chicken salads. Produce is varied and fresh. There is no comparison to Adams, which is much more expensive — or Walmart which doesn’t have the good specialty items or as good a bakery. Forget Aldi. No competition there.

I stopped in with a group of friends to do a huge shopping trip for our weekend in the area. It was about 10:30pm on a Friday night so a lot of the produce was pretty picked through, definitely not the best time to shop. I was really pleased to see all the organic offerings but unfortunately, there were only a few bunches of organic collards and kale and they looked pretty sad. I found some other healthy goodies, including natural snack foods, bulk items, and vegan staples like tofu, Earth Balance, and coconut ice cream. I plan to take another trip up to this area in the summer and will be hitting up Hannaford again for shopping.

Always stop by here for beer that I cant get in NJ. Looks like they longer stock Keegan Ales(thusly they are dropped a star). However, they have picked up Roscoe Brewing Company, of which I got 4 six packs. At around 7 – 8 $ for an amber and pale style microbrew, not a bad deal. Would like to see a return however of local Catskill(and greater Hudson Valley) beer!

I kinda feel sorry for this Hannaford; they have competition in every direction, including Adams Fairacre Farms, Aldi, Wal-Mart, and even another Hannaford on the other side of town. But they hold their own. Their produce department is quite interesting, with some exotic stuff I rarely see elsewhere. They also have a small but nice salad bar. The store is generally well laid-out and maintained. Certain things at Hannaford are always going to be good quality and good price. For these reasons, this particular Hannaford will always be on my list of grocery stores to visit when I am in the area.

Although I don’t normally travel to use this Hannafords that much anymore, the last few days I’ve been there, I’ve been going in and even obtaining Duke status. This store is most like any of the Hannaford supermarkets around; it’s always clean and is fully stocked. Prices aren’t too bad either. I don’t have many problems at the register, and when they do occur, they are quickly assessed and found to be there problems which they fix relatively quickly. Aisles are a bit of a problem, as they are a bit cramped from one side to the other.
