Target

I had an excellent experience at this store today and couldn’t find a contact e-​mail on their website so I’ll just leave it here. I wanted to let the manager know that the employee in the pharmacy absolutely made my day. She showed no signs of being grumpy about working Labor Day and was extremely friendly. I can’t say I’ve ever left a flu shot smiling until today– I don’t have a problem with needles but if I did, her excellent customer service would have calmed me right down. This Target is doing something right with their employee choices!

I’m fond of this Target. It’s 25% larger than the one in the Poughkeepsie Galleria, and I feel they put that extra size to good use with their inventory. The grocery section is pretty impressive, but I bet it is challenging keeping it competitive when you’ve got a Hannaford across the street and an Adams Fairacre Farms just up the road. I’ve never had any issues checking out here, they always seem to have enough cashiers working to keep the lines short and fast.

Yesterday I was in your store. When I went around the store in one of the motorized scooters you have (yes, I ended up twisting my ankle due to my own fault at another nearby non-​affiliated store), I ended up not being able to reach up to the credit card machine. Of all the things you think about for those handicapped accessible items, why did you have to pick the credit card machine for those to not be able to be reached. Not even WalMart puts their card machines that high! What a rip-​off!
Also, at one point, I found a big trash can sitting in the middle of an aisle, the turning radius I needed, caused me to bang into another display shelf with the scooter, but nothing else happened. Maybe if someone looks at this action, and makes sure all associates attend to problems in the walkways sooner. I saw no one around to assist me with the garbage can (I was over in the area of Baby Care exists.

This target doesn’t sell a lot of food but a decent amount. Their prices aren’t bad either. Staff is okay. This Target is also attached to the mall so that’s a plus.

For your average Target, this one is pretty good. Well maintained and very clean. The staff is pretty friendly and the cashiers work their hardest to get you outta there!
I live in Brooklyn and the one in Atlantic Terminal is absolutely abysmal compared to this Target. Hell, I think I could drive up to this one and back in the time it takes for me to check out at the Atlantic Terminal location!
