It’s advertised as 24⁄7 but I came at 1:30am on a Saturday night and the door is locked and no one is in there. There is also a sign that says open! Why advertise it as 24⁄7 if no one is going to be there!

Not worth coming back to again. I and the chicken burrito and the chicken is low quality, there’s no pico, lettuce, or anything remotely refreshing available to put in your burrito. The green salsa cups they have on the side are ok, but the red ones are way too salty. It’s just a hole in the wall taco stand with not a lot going for it. Not a clean place, so you’ll want to take your stuff to go and the cashier seemed to have an attitude. Sub-par food for low prices.

First and for most, one of the things that really irritates me about this taco shop and many others is that the employees are impolite, short, and rude. Would it kill you to smile when addressing a customer ? But no… They insist on keeping a negative posture on their brow, and an attitude that is just downright shitty. Why do we put up with this ? Food(6) Salsa Bar(9) At least this establishment has free hot carrots.

I live close to this Taco Shop. Out of convenience I occasionally eat here(once a month). The food is mediocre. I generally wouldn’t recommend it. But one thing is consistent, the woman who works the register is beyond rude. She really shouldn’t have a job interacting with the public.

didn’t even taste the food. this is the only place open late in la Jolla so we stopped by after a show at the comedy store. we wanted to eat there before making the drive back up to north county. so when our food comes the lady basically tells us to leave because they’re about to close, even though all of the signs say open. I tell her that we’re not taking the food to go because it will be cold before we get home and if she can’t wait the ten minutes it takes to eat a burrito then she should just give me my money back. without skipping a beat, she goes right over to the register and gets my money(minus the credit card processing fee, of course). I should have listened to the other Unilocal reviews. this place is a total waste of time

Disgusting. Only come here if you’re shit faced and can’t really taste what you’re eating. People working are rude and food is old and gross

Best carne asada fries in the city. Only come here when you’re hungry, because they have very large portions. Most of the best Mexican food comes from those tiny run down corner shops, and this place is definately a perfect example.

Cheap & greasy Mexican, hits the spot when you’ve got the midnight munchies after a night on the town & nothing else is open. Better options nearby are Oscars & The Taco Stand.

Nice, fresh food at more than reasonable prices. Staff is friendly & will accommodate any special requests that they can. They have a side bar with 6 or so different sauces, pickled carrots, cucumber & radish slices, green onions, etc. This is one of the best values in terms of taste & quality in the La Jolla area. You will not be disappointed. Only wish they sold posole & menudo. They do have a seafood soup which is quite delicious. Mike

The only reason why I come to this place is the convenience of it being 24 hour’s and close to work in case I forgot to bring lunch. Everytime I call ahead for my order there is a women who is very rude and doesn’t speak much English so I’m not sure she knows what I’m saying and I definitely don’t know what she’s saying so my order always has to be double checked when I get there. The prices are also very expensive for a taco shop. Maybe because it’s in La Jolla I figured but definitely not worth it.

Food is alright but the hispanic lady is probably the worst person I’ve ever dealt with when ordering food. My friends come by my house all the time to surf and hangout and we often grab a burrito, we all think the same. It’s a shame.

I give them 3 stars, but I almost gave them 2. Their customer service was terrible. The food was just ok. I wish the old place that used to be here in the 90’s was still here. Sadly the place now is not even half as good. I probably won’t eat here again when I go to wind an sea.

In terms of food, this is pretty cheap non tasty Mexican fiood. The service is sketchy and they have a tendency to make a lot of mistakes on your orders. The place has gone down hill in the last year.

I ordered three tacos and an horchata and my total came to $ 12+ $ 1.00 for using my credit card. I had been drinking late that night and our group came here from a party nearby. This place is open 24 hour hours so it attracts lots people seeking late night munchies. Rigobertos charges you ridiculous prices on tacos because they know they can. I had a few drinks so I didnt even question my total, did I really even have a choice? The food was too much for me and so I didn’t eat most of it. Its weird because their chicken taco came in a crunchy shell(like Taco Bell) so these definitely are not the type of tacos I’m used to eating at Mexican places. This place was ok. Good horchata though.

First and last time here. Ordered a carne asada quesadilla with sour cream. $ 8.37. Wow. What a rip off. Then she short changed me a couple cents. I didn’t say anything but I should have. When I was eating I overheard a lady order and she got short changed too! What a shame. A couple cents here and there can add up. I got the quesadilla and it was cut into two pieces. Not that big. Very greasy. The customer service was just horrible. Lady did not want to be there.

Absolutely horrendous service… where is the zero star option? I used to be a regular carnitas fries customer when I was in college, but after last night I’m never going again. The woman behind the register was in a bad mood and short with all the customers. She didn’t pay attention when she took my order and when I asked her to add salsa to my fries, she told me I didn’t ask for it before she started calling me awful things in Spanish(she shouldn’t assume people don’t speak Spanish…). The food made me sick after just one bite-which I should have known not to take in the first place… I hope they get shut down. I’d recommend the Rigo’s in Miramar or Lolita’s if you want this kind of food. I’m so disappointed with this location.

Damnn!!! The Lady is hella rude! And my carne asada fries are soggy as hell. Don’t come here sober, you’ll remember the bad experience and nasty food.

I can’t really give this place much love… The carne asada fries sucked, as did the 3 rolled tacos I ordered. I was rather disappointed with my bland dining experience at Rigoberto’s or would advise you go to any one of the many Roberto’s locations instead.

Used to taste so good! Now the food is awful Ordered carne Asada fries with corn tortillas on the side. You could tell both the fries and the corn tortillas were frozen. You can taste the freezer burn… The cashier and cook are really nice though. That’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. But the food definitely ZEROSTARS!!!

Found myself in La Jolla at 5;00PM today. Thought I would grab a small pre dinner meal. Went for the 5 rolled taco special. Very good. In fact it was the best rolled tacos I’ve gotten at a drive thru poss. ever. Meaty, real guacamole, Lots of veg. & two types of cheese’s. Excellent. BTW Didn’t need dinner after this. That large.
