In my personal opinion it’s a somewhat fancy take on subway… not comparing to subway by any means but as far as how u order n the food set up but the food is way better I like the Mexico city chicken and chipotle sandwich so much flavor

This sandwich shop is the best I have seen in a long time!
The food is excellent! They have a full vegetarian option and there is flavor and spice in the food!
We were a party of 8 with a 2 yr old in tow! so many orders so many combinations! And they were patient with us and served us with a smile!
I specially need to mention catly!
You were such an angel! I was tired with my toddler and super hungry! My son was cranky!!!
We had ordered small cheese pizza for him! She not just cut the pizza in small sizes she also offered and also cut the pizza in bite size pieces for my son! So that we all could eat peacefully!
This is what takes an eatery an extra mile!

Well for starters this is more than a sandwich place. it’s kind of a hip almost joint kind of place with a really great selection of eclectic sandwiches, pizzas, sides and also breakfast. Plus there’s beer!
I am from New Orleans and am spending the night here in Lake Charles on business. Wanted something to eat, and just want to grab something and bring them to the room.
So I Unilocaled the locations and fill this place very glad that I did. I have the Mediterranean portobello sandwich which was really good. We’ll portobellos and Eggplant with feta cheese, tapenade and I forget what else. Toasty in really really good.
I also had the focaccia cheese bites with a side of hummus. The focaccia it was excellent; crusty just a little chewy and all those nice irregular holes to tell you that it was made with a good high gluten flour. Top with cheese, toasted and cut into little squares perfect for dipping. Speaking of which, the hummus is clearly House made, and not some junk out of the jar. If I’m wrong, then it’s really really amazing good for jarred hummus. :-)
I’ll tell you, I wish there was one of these in New Orleans. I would definitely be a regular. Check it out

When I got there I told them it was my first time there and that I was new in town. The service was amazing. There were two employees working, one at the food and one at the register. The employee at the food made two sandwich recommendations and I went with the first one, it was the «Mexican» something. It was delicious. Upon eating it samples of other products were brought out to taste, all of which were also phenomenal. I will definitely be returning.

Very Good! Great breakfast! Outstanding unordinary root beer! Fast Service, and good customer service! Must try the homemade bread pudding! Best Sandwhiches. It taste fresh not frozen!!!/we will visit again!!!

Very good food and great desserts. If they have the bread pudding be extra good to yourself and order one to eat there and one to go.

Quite a great sandwich spot near the casinos in Lake Charles. That said, I did not have a sandwich, but the, get this, DUCK GUMBO. It was absolutely delicious. They also gave us some focaccia crostini and it was just fantastic. My wife had a greek salad and raved about it. I enjoyed an Anchor Steam brew with the gumbo and went away from this place wondering why we didn’t have anything like it in Beaumont. This is now my go to for a great lunch in LC. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Love the gumbo there! The uptown New Orleans is also great. Sometime the line is abit long but it’s worth the wait.

I had the Southwest Frittata which comes with a rustic club, with eggs, sausage, cheddar cheese, black beans, jalapenos, corn relish, chipotle sauce, and salsa OMG. It’s delightfully spicy yet sweet as well. If you like the taste of herbs, you get a hint of cilantro which is quite refreshing. It’s a rich frittata so much that I could only eat half of it. It’s amazing especially if you like something spicy, not overly meaty, hints of cilantro, with a lot of flavors. Everytime I go here, I never leave without wanting to come back for more. I’ve tried most of the sandwiches on the menu, and every single one has been amazing. Overall this place is amazing as well. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you. They make almost everything on site as well. If you’re willing to pay a little extra, it’s well worth it in my opinion. They definitely have me as a faithful customer. :)

Like someone said about Subway, «I can do better than that!», then went on and did it. A wealth of fun flavor combos served up by fun people in a fun space.

Take 210 down south. just south off Nelson. Dont go to Panera if in this area… go here. Chick-​fil-​A nearby if someone needs grease.

What amazing customer service and delicious sandwiches. .my husband had the Mexican chicken and I had the Argentinian… both awesome! Lots of flavor and good bread. The potato salad was also tasty… but what stole the show was the best bread pudding I have ever had!

Stopped here with my best friend while on a road trip and absolutely LOVED this place! Not only were the sandwiches delicious and extremely filling but they have amazing customer service.
Shout out to the employees for handling that crazy bitch who was just incredibly rude to everyone in the shop. Y’all rock!!!

After reading the reviews, I have to wonder if we got really unlucky on our first visit to this place, because the place did not live up to our hopes.
The service was downright unfriendly. And SLOW. And unresponsive.
Now with that said, the sandwiches were tasty and I was interested in trying the salads and pizzas too, although we all tried sandwiches since it was our first visit. The sandwiches were spicy… I love spicy. My daughter does not. It was hard to tell from the descriptions which would be spicy and which would not.
I would likely come again to try the pizza and salads, but I was really put off by the sour service… not sure if I’ll go again or not…

Unique, delicious sandwiches and great customer service! I’m in from out of state and wanted something different, but light. This was perfect! I had the LA-​Mex sandwich. Soooo good!
I also love that they have a beer and wine selection too. It’s small, but I don’t think you need an extensive selection at a sandwich/​salad place.
If this was close to home, I’d eat here all the time! Forget Panera Bread!

Wonderful salads, seasonal soups, sandwiches, and great atmosphere. Love the cinnamon raisin bread sliced thin or thick. Thin is my preference.

I can’t say enough about this place. They have the best shrimp bisque and gumbo. The shrimp bisque is a special weekend treat. They bread pudding is the best thing ever. It’s full of pecans and raisins and the rum sauce is to die for. This hidden gem is easily located off of I 10 by Walmart.

Love the bold flavors and quality ingredients. Sandwiches are full of fresh flavorful ingredients with an eclectic choice of flavors from all over the globe. They also have salads and Pizzas that sound and look delicious. I am a big fan of the fresh breads that come with the different sandwiches. Also a must try for dessert is the bread pudding. It is covered in a sweet crème anglaise that is to die for.

During a recent visit to LC, my friend and I stopped in to grab breakfast to go. The service was fine, but very slow. I visited the one restroom, and it did not smell well at all.
We got free hot chocolate with our purchase, which was exciting. The hot chocolate was good, but very sweet.
We had the ANYTIME BACON and the CAJUN FRITTATA. Both were DELICIOUS! I was impressed with the tasty flavors, nice-​size portions and the feel-​good warmth of this yummy sandwich. I wish they had one in Houston! I can’t wait to visit LC again because I want more Street Breads.
