Hands down the best bbq I’ve had. Everything I’ve tried is delicious. The ribs are amazing mouthwatering goodness. Homemade everything. Go in just for dessert if you have to. You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in with a friend yesterday to give Jim Bob’s ribs a day in court. We both ordered the rib plate, and it was brought to us in a nice, timely manner. The mac & cheese was good. The coleslaw was bland. The rub used on the ribs tasted good(through all the sauce they put on them) and the meat was tender(could’ve used more time) but the main element of bbq was missing– the smoke. I could not taste any smoke, and there was no smoke ring. Like they were done in an electric or gas oven. None the less, they were tasty ribs. I do them pretty much just the same during the winter in my oven, and it satisfies the jones, but it’s still not real bbq. Good house made sauce! Nice rub too. I like this place, and the food was good, but it can be improved.

We might have caught them at a bad time. It was 3pm so maybe the meats had been sitting out all day. We had the ribs, brisket, Mac & cheese, and a breakfast sandwich. Both meats were bone dry and tasted like jerky. Almost inedible. The bbq sauce didn’t help as pretty sure it was cold store-bought bbq. Customer service was great though, hence the 3 stars.

Short and sweet, try this place. Love love love their BBQ. Great menu selection. The folks that work there are friendly, welcoming and make you feel right at home. Have been there for breakfast a few times and its great too! Try it and see for yourself. Gotta love supporting local, family run small business. Go at least once instead of the big, national chain restaurants in the area. You’ll be glad you did.

First time eating there with the family the food was fabulous! the price«respectable» the service always with a smile:). The only negative was that I found out that they support active duty service members with a discount which I was proud to hear about but… they don’t support retired veterans this is a little disappointing. IE:. If someone joins the military they’re entitled to a discount but for those who serve in combat that are now retired from the military are not entitled to the discount. Please don’t misunderstand it’s not the discount it’s not recognizing the men and women devoted 20 years serving their country:( I would recommend a revaluation of management’s policies. This is the only reason why I did not award them five-star

The mac n cheese needs work. With that being said, I enjoyed the pork and bbq sauce! Fabulous onion rings as well! I’ll be back

Decided to try it out. I am kind of a bbq snob. Have to say it was pretty good. Tried the jalapeño cheese sausage & the sliced brisket. Sausage was awesome & brisket was tender with flavor but a bit dry. Yummy sweet potato fries & green beans were my sides. Liked the sauce, preferred the original to the spicy. Sauce usually makes or breaks a place for me, so a good sauce was a bonus. I was not a big fan of the cherry turnover, not on target. But might just be me. Probably also because I paid for it & had to ask for it twice. Dining room help was on it… counter help a bit distracted by personal drama it seemed. Altogether, not a bad experience.

First time here and it was delicious. I am for sure coming back!!! I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo, eggs and cheese and it was a good size portion but not so much that you get the«itis.» My amazing husband got an enormous 2 meat dish which came with 2 sides and cornbread. The pulled pork was absolutely delicious and not over cooked. He also had jalapeño cheese sausage which stole the show. Fried okra and sweet potato waffle fries were also very delicious and made the way momma made them. Ambience was great and they love football. This place is my new cheat day prime location. #RealTalk

Ordered ribs last night, very nice! This place is what Olympia needed, casual dining w good barbeque. Prices are reasonable. Watched ESPN while we ate, and that’s all that needs to be said. Oh yeah, remember to tip these girls. You pay, then the food us brought out to you… It’s kinda backwards… but remember to leave a tip! The food is good!

I work at the bank right down the street so I’ve met the owners and a few of the workers, and they are all so nice and plesent to see! I decided to try their food on my lunch break… SOGOOD! the food came out super fast, with great service and it tasted amazing! We got a full stack of ribs and a pulled pork and cheddar sandwich. I will definitely be coming back here, especially since it is so convenient next to my work and all the stores.

Ribs are super tasty. I ask for them with sauce on the side(I prefer KC style ribs in general). Get the spicy bbq sauce from the shelf. It has a nice little zip to it. Pulled pork and brisket are good, but on the dry side… liberal saucing helps alot. The green beans are old school– taste like they’re from a can but brought back to life with onions and bacon. The clientele here tends to be the older crowd, and the regulars are fun to watch interact with the wait staff.

Why this place does not have a line out the door, I don’t know. It’s like going to your favourite aunt’s for dinner. If you ask about the sides, they give you a bite. They’re not afraid to recommend. The portions and price are matched. I had the pulled pork, chopped brisket, mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was perfect! The young lady behind the counter recommend the sides and I was not let down. The potatoes were home made and not store bought. The green beans were fresh. You can’t go wrong here. Great food, beer, decent prices, friendly service and pretty girls. If Jim Bob’s does not become an institution, there is something wrong with this town.

First time in there today. Brisket was a little dry but still had great flavor. The jalapeño cheddar polish sausage was very flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. Mac & cheese was tasty and the fried okra was delicious dipped in their spicy BBQ sauce. The service was friendly and the food came out hot and fast. Will definitely be back to try the ribs next time.

Great food at fair prices. Being a Texas girl, I judge BBQ by the flavor and tenderness without having to bathe it in sauce. The brisket was perfect, smoky, tender, not dry at all! The jalapeño cheddar sausage was flavorful without being overbearing in any way. The ribs were fall off the bone yummy. The mac n cheese was comfort food at its best, no pasty mushy noodles here. My husband liked his onion rings enough that he didn’t share and I did the same with my fried okra. :) Don’t skip the dessert case. Choosing what to try was definitely the hardest part. We had the strawberry rhubarb pie and cleaned that plate. And of course, free mini ice cream cones. We will be back!

We got our food to go. The folks at the front were super friendly and eager to suggest items from their menu. The BBQ we got were ribs, chopped brisket and pulled pork with a myriad of yummy, non-healthy sides and all was good. Plenty of it too! The yeast rolls were super tasty! We shared a mound of most-very-deeelicious marionberry cobbler. So good. The prices were fair. Next trip will be for breakfast. Can’t wait!

Thought I would give the new place a try for lunch. Ordered the hamburger combo… with bacon of course. Burger really good with a toasted bun. Fries had this really cool coating on them… went good with some of the table bbq sauce as a dip! Saw others eating more traditional BBQ and it looked good. Staff super friendly and made me feel welcome. Everything severed quickly and pipping hot… except for the soda of course! Definitely a return with the family place.

Very friendly staff. The brisket was just a little on the dry side. Beans were over done or held over. the slaw needed a a bit more flavor. This was my second meal here and I will be back for a third. Like the first meal I thought that they need to take one more step to bring it up to five stars.

Quite simply a great meal. My wife and I ordered the sloppy joe lunch special and quarter meat plate. The sloppy joe meat was a nice blend of pulled pork and beef brisket bathed in the house BBQ sauce and piled on a large, soft burger bun. This came with fresh criss. cut fries all for $ 5. The quarter meat plate consisted of a quarter pound of pulled pork(smoked and pulled; add your own sauce) served with a tasty roll and two sides. One was fried okra the other was mac and cheese. The fried okra was fantastic the mac and cheese was okay. Many sides to choose from. Many options of smoked meat. Bring your appetite for BBQ because clearly The Chuck Wagon knows what they are doing. Portions and prices are fair. Quality was excellent and service was quick and friendly. Open for bruckfuss too!
