I have now tasted almost everything on their menu, and it’s all good. Really good. However… It is the meat dishes not on the menu that will knock you out, just amazing. The filet mignon is one of the best, ever. I’ve raved about how good the filet is at Ruth’s Chris. Using that as the reference this is much better in terms of flavor, texture, and tenderness. The size is not huge like Ruth’s but it is the correct size for a filet from a steer, not a cow. The lamb chops are melt in your mouth yummy with a perfect sauce. This is not a high ceiling restaurant, literally. Kind of a basement feel, but gives the place a casual feel, especially with other patrons in flip flops and no table cloths. Nice bar adjoining the serving area. Desserts are great, apparently made on site and not shipped in. Tiramisu is different and delicious, just the right amount of booze so as not to be distracting. Gelato’s are outstanding. The cheesecake is really different, made from Ricotta, I loved it. Only disappointment was the limoncello sorbet which was grainy. Regular menu items I really like are the arugula pasta with shrimp, the meatballs that taste like my grandmothers, the lamb shank pasta, and any of the ravioli. Our waiter was very nice and should get an award for politeness and patience. Bön appetite.
