FYI-Amore Pizza has closed. It was the best NY style pizza in Orange County.

I ordered from the wrong Amore Pizza(here) and I regret accidentally confusing my regular shop with this place entirely. The pizza was horrible. Crust was dry and burnt. Cheese pizza was way greasy and gross. Philly Cheese Steak was icky — meat was slimy textured. vegetarian was boring — couldn’t differentiate between the toppings. Greek salad was the only item good, but Bruchetta was gross too(WAY too much garlic and I love garlic). The pizza made us sick after and I paid almost double I would pay at my regular pizza joint. I will never confuse this place with my beloved local Pizzeria Amore.

DONOTORDER from here!!! Their jumbo pizza is the size of a medium, thin as a piece of paper, and for a $ 20 pizza, I would expect more than the sparing amount of toppings! Customer service was RIDICULOUS!!! My first negative Unilocal review ever… And Amores is well deserving of it! By FAR the WORST pizza and service I have EVER had!!!

Went here for the first time on Saturday 08÷11÷12… Chicken Parmesan — Chicken is frozen out of a bag and dropped in a fryer — terrible Rigatoni w/sausage & peppers — had no sausage… terrible cheese Pizza — burnt… the top was black… yup it was terrible… Antipasto Salad — good… hard to screw up a salad… at least they got that right… Overall, this place was not good… not sure what other reviewers ate but I gave it a go and it was sub-par…Owner take notice! you need to be on Restaurant Impossible!

So the pizza is good. The crust and toppings are good quality. The crust and bread are better than normal. But my favorite part of it is the marinara sauce and the good cheese on it. So good. This same marinara makes their pasta wonderful as well. I really enjoy the pasta as much as the pizza. This is my favorite«italian place» in the area. Come Hungary

The pizza was okay. Super greasy and oily, but could be taken care of with a few napkins. The pepperoni was bomb, much better than Domino’s/Pizza Hut. The crust was thin and the cheese was heavy, so the pizza definitely drooped and fell apart a little bit, but it made it look much better than it did in the box. The texture itself was a little weird, and felt undercooked. I guess I would try asking for it well done here. I was also waiting around the restaurant for a to-go order, which might’ve been the reason they sped up the process… but I would’ve been willing to wait 5 more minutes so that it could bake properly. BUT all of this gets a +Star to 3, ‘cuz of the price. $ 6.99 for a one-topping Large Pizza… kind of a steal. If you’re around the area, check it out.

I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but I will say this — order a large Garlic and Pineapple, and you won’t be sorry. Tip the guys too, they’re nice kids — $ 7.99 for a large one topping can’t be beat.

First of all, I love pizza! I mean, common, who doesn’t?! I’m biased towards NY style, but don’t discriminate when it comes to good food! I’ve had some amazing pizza in NY and, despite what many people think about west coast pizza, I have had some amazing pizza in LA as well! As a result I’m always up to try a new pizza place, and tonight I figured why not try one in my hometown. Overall, the pizza at Amoré was pretty good, but not as good as I had hoped. We ordered the pizza(«jumbo» size, with pepperoni and basil) and 10 wings combo. Called ahead at 7:30 on a Sunday night and they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. The total came out to a bit over $ 22, which was a little expensive but not unreasonable for a good pizza. The place itself was small, but had 3 small tables for people to sit and dine-in. Also, the people there were very nice and friendly, and, importantly, the food was ready on time for pick up(still nice and warm by the time we brought it home). As for the food, the pizza was good, but not great. Nothing to write home about. That being said, the pizza was definitely better than any of those pizza chains. Thin crust with a unique sauce and decent ingredients. Much more fresh than your typical delivery place. The wings were tasty as well, and although they were a little smaller than expected, the flavor made up for their lack of size. As a whole, I would much rather have pizza from Amoré than any of those run-of-the-mill pizza chains, and I can definitely see myself coming back. Though I must admit, I am still looking for a pizza place in Orange County that can stand up to some of the better places I’ve been to elsewhere.

Best pizza… ever! We’d order it all the time in class during High School.

This place is great! The outside sign says Ameci Pizza, but everything inside says ‘Amore’ Pizza, which according to Yahoo! answers means«My love literally and my obsession figuratively.» So you can tell these people care about pizza. Now, is this the best pizza ever? It’s not. But it’s REALLY good, and best of all, tastes unique! Some nice touches to this place too. The menu board has no prices, which is actually quite refreshing to look at. There is a convenient ‘Lunch Specials’ board that lists 6 choices, all reasonably priced, and all looked good. I had the #1, which is 2 large slices of cheese pizza with a fountain drink. Price: $ 3.99 I added pepperoni which bumped the price up a buck, A ok. The Root Beer was perfect(remember, some places screw the ratio of carbonation to syrup up), but best of all, the people here were genuinely awesome! I mean service wise, friendliness wise, showing signs of life wise. Inside there are just 2 or 3 tables, but it’s comfy, has a decent outside view, and the place overall just feels respectful to the pizza tradition(whatever that is). Also of note, above the door(inside) there’s a small satchel, a string of garlic bulbs, and a small note written in a language I couldn’t identify, all in an apparent design to keep vampires out come that inevitable day when they take over the world. So remember this is the place you want to be when that time comes, and space will be limited so get in good with these guys!

Excellent thin crust pizza. New York style, good amounts of cheese and sauce and reasonable priced. What more can you ask for
