Pizza is alright. It’s a it on the greasy side but you can’t beat a $ 5.50 lunch special with 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a soda.

Love their vegetarian pizza! It’s quick and kids love it. I tried their spaghetti and meatballs, it was a large portion and tasted good. It’s great for take out. Inside is small for dine in!

I absolutely love the pizza, wings and salad! We call them when we don’t feel like cooking or my husband just wants a quite evening. We have never had issues with the place or the employees they are awesome!

I will never know because when my husband called to order the Family Special with the special coupon that we were given(no expiration date) from our Apartment Management Team, we were told that they«no longer have that deal» even though it is a coupon printed on their own take-out menu, and has no expiration date. When questioned, my husband was told that it must have been an old special and they can’t make it. When my husband explained that we just moved in in June, and that June was not that long ago, and that this menu and coupon was printed by them and not old, the man said only: «No, we cannot do that» To which my husband replied: «Fine we will take are business elsewhere and let everyone know why». Horrible. The special was for two 18 inch two-topping pizzas. Apparently, they can’t make that anymore. Hard to recommend service when, there wasn’t any. Shame.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVERRRRRRRRR!!! This is a delayed review, but it was from a visit last month in July 2015. I only write reviews when the places are exceptional or in this case horrendous… The pizza was all right, the spaghetti was pretty good. The portion size was enormous. However, the customer service was the worst service I have ever received. Even if the food was the best pizza/spaghetti around, they don’t deserve any business based on how they treat their customers. 1. I asked if I could get the spaghetti split into 2 containers, they told me no(I asked so I could split the pasta for my two kiddos). 2. I asked if they had bowls, they said no. One of the guys told me I could use the plates and I said sure, that’ll work… Then another guy walked up to me and actually said in a very condescending tone… these words, «This is a fast food place, if you want a bowl you need to go to a restaurant. — I have never in my entire life been spoken to this way by an employee of any establishment that is there to service people… 3. At the register while paying, I asked the gal if they put cheese on their pasta(because my child has a dairy allergy so I wanted to make sure they wouldn’t put any cheese on the pasta). Her response to me, «No, we don’t put any cheese on the pasta, if we did, we would charge you extra.» 4. They ran out of syrup for one of the sodas from the fountain. I let them know and they said they would replace it with a new one. Went back 10 min later, it hadn’t been changed out. My husband went back before we left(after another 30 – 40 min. had gone by), still no cola and no ice.
I was actually checking out this place for the food to see if we could order pizzas for a birthday party we were having at Laser Quest as their go to vendor. This is by no means a knock on Laser Quest by referring me to Rocco’s.

What an utter disappointment! From best to worst in less than a year. I anticipated the opening of this second location since it was almost around the corner from my house. It was worth the wait for the first few months and then the owner and his main guy from the original location hired new people and have become mostly absent. The 2 guys that are always there could care less about any customers that enter, as a matter of fact they act like you’re an annoyance. There are 2 flat screen TV’s that used to display varied sporting events and other programming but for last year has nothing but Soccer or other Spanish Language programming to entertain the 2 workers, not the customers. We used to pick up a pie at least once a week and I would hit it for lunch at least once a week for their 2 slice special. The last few months it has gone progressively downhill and even the price charged would vary by 2 to 3 dollars although it was the same Pie each time, last night was the bottom. The Pie we picked up last night was inedible by most standards, it was like eating sauce on partially cooked dough with a handful of mushrooms sprinkled randomly. This Pie will be our last from Rocco’s since it no longer meets even Papa Johns standards.

Customer service sucks here. I had never been here and wanted to give it a try. I ordered three slices and then I asked for a drink. $ 9.75 but then I saw the sign 2 slices plus a drink $ 5.00. Why didn’t the guy working there tell me? One more dollar for another soda and slice. Uhh yea I would have done that. He seemed so bored of working there and didn’t care when I told him I wanted another slice and the soda and I’d pay the difference. He was bothered by me asking. Pizza is good not great but the service is terrible. Never going back.

I think this is the best pizza place around me. The pizza is so good! They have the BEST caesar salad, and absolutely wonderful prices. I love the center that the restaurant is located in, wonderful businesses in there.

Very poorly trained staff from a customer-service standpoint. While not on the menu, I had requested a meatball/sausage combo sub multiple times in the past and the staff had happily accommodated me. Being from back east, any AUTHENTIC italian joint should readily provide this. Recently, I requested this again, and even after mentioning that I had been given this before, the person on staff seemed unconcerned, and refused. Most surprisingly, even after I mentioned that he had likely lost a customer he remained ambivalent. Training-training-training !! Their food is nothing special, however the location is convenient. In that there are many alternatives in the area, and while they are just down the block, the drive will be worth it to feel valued as a customer. I visit other businesses in this strip-mall frequently, and Roccos is always empty, no surprise.

Delicious pizza at an affordable price. It is wonderful to order a Family special that does not break the budget. The pizza is incredible and the pasta, very tasty.

I am a pizzaholic. Having spent 20 years in Manhattan I know a little bit about real New York style pizza. Many promise it but this is easily the closest to it I’ve found out of the literally dozens of pizza joints I’ve tried in south Orange County. It’s got the right form factor — foldable when they don’t overheat it.(Hey dude — don’t burn that slice!) The right balance of sauce, cheese and dough. The sauce, unlike many pretenders, actually has some taste and kick. And here’s something that you don’t find out here… all the key toppings — pepper, hot pepper flakes, oregano and garlic — are already waiting for you on the table. I will admit I may be grading on the curve, but the pizza here is so clearly better than the competition(as long as you’re looking for NY pie) that they deserve every star. The only area for improvement is the service which is fine but not particularly friendly. And dude, don’t burn those slices! But if you like pizza be sure to try this unassuming, tucked in little surprise.

We love the Rocco’s at the Kaleidoscope, so when we found this location, and that they delivered we were very excited. First time we called in for delivery. The pizza took awhile no biggie, when it finally did come it was a chicken pizza, not at all what we ordered. Kids were hungry and not digging the chicken, so we called and they were more than willing to bring the right pizza, which they did. We were a little sad about the experience, but realize things happen, maybe it was a bad night. The next time we were out and decided to call it in and pick up. Got the food home, order was correct, pizza was good, but my Cesar salad had blue fuzzy mold on the cheese. Totally disgusting!!! I called to tell them, and they did offer a free salad on my next visit, but really I am too grossed out to eat at a place that would serve moldy cheese without noticing or caring. Really makes me wonder.

I am not a pizza person. However, that totally changed when my husband came home one day with a gourmet specialty pizza. All the meats & veggies were cooked to perfection. And the veggies were very fresh and tasty. Price is a bit high but it is a specialty pizza and it’s all fresh ingredients. I will not eat any other kind of pizza if it’s is not from here!

My 6 yr old is somewhat of an authority on pepperoni pizza. He gave it 2 thumbs up! I had the pastrami sandwich. Sooo good! And HUGE! Prices are super reasonable as well. Good spot!

We were SO excited to try someplace that offers real NEWYORKTHINCRUST pizza — just like we love when we visit NYC. Only they DON’T. It says«NY thin crust» on the menu but when we arrived Friday night to pick up the very HEAVY pizza we were already disappointed. We told the owner that it is NOT thin crust and he argued that it is. It was soggy in the middle and the toppings were slid to one side. We complained that we ordered THIN crust and this isn’t it. Owner is very rude and aggressive — which other people mentioned. After arguing with us, he told us to he wouldn’t charge us for the pizza — that didn’t make it any better. It was still thick, soggy, and disappointing. Still in search of real NY pizza.

Tried them tonight after a good friend told me about them. I owe her BIG time, this place tasted just like the pies I had back in Manhattan(NY). The crust was perfect and the cheese, pepperoni & Sausage were mouth watering. The customer service was beyond awesome. The absolute BEST pizza in Southern Orange County!

Saw the special for $ 5.95. For two slices of gourmet pizza with a fountain drink. Pizza was good, but not mind blowing. They were nice to the customers, which seemed to have a bunch of regulars coming in and out.
