Had the Katsu bowl. It was tasty but small portion. $ 3 more for extra meat. Spicy tuna roll was decent. Miso soup was ok. Food is good but don’t have high expectations and you won’t be disappointed.

This place is great. If you are expecting a sit down sushi bar experience, you should go somewhere else. This place is a teriyaki and roll place and if that’s what you are looking for, you won’t be disappointed. The quality of the food you will get is better than other similar establishments. It is a great spot for quick lunch and dinners, as well as catering. Try catering! I have tried the chicken teriyaki, chicken salad, and California rolls. They are great to serve at home parties and church events. The presentation is great, too!

Very delicious place! Little on the pricier end… at least for my budget. Spent almost $ 10 for a steak bowl combo. But it was so good and the quality was good as well. I was warmly greeted and the customer service was on point. If I’m ever near the area again, I’ll be back.

Worst experience ever! I ‘ll never come back here!
We ordered eel bowl and one katzu bowl after 15 min wait she explained she forgot to make katzu and I need to wait another 10 minutes. I didn’t even try the good yet but very upset about this unprofessional customer service

Love this place. Awesome customer service and fast. Got the chicken and steak, delicious! With edamame on the side. Love the rice, and would try the other stuffs in the menu next time. Place is kinda hidden and the name threw me off tho. Didn’t know it was a korean/​japanese restaurant. Food is good!

I should have paid close attention to negative reviews. This place is exactly what it’s meant to be, a fast food sushi stop. Orders the rad dragon sushi roll with more rice than anything, rolls split before I even touched them. For the price of 9.95 for 8 rolls? Will never be coming back, not sure how their beef or chicken bowls are but I’m assuming there’s just as much rice in those bowls as in the rolls. As far as customer service goes? The worst, older man took my order, he got upset because I changed my order before paying for it. I would stay away, places like this don’t deserve clientele!

I absolutely love this place! I eat here on average 1 to 2 times a week. It is quick and the food is always fresh. I enjoy both their chicken and steak bowls, but recently switched it up to the California sushi bowl. The people that run the restaurant are so sweet and friendly. It’s amazing!

This review is honestly way overdue, but I’ve been coming here since the place was Fuji Grill, but the place changed their name to Laguna Grill. Regardless of name change however, their food is amazing!
I normally don’t enjoy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl because it is often to salty or sweet, but the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl here at Laguna Grill is my main go to item for Lunch or Dinner. I live all the way in Irvine, but I am willing to drive all the way to Laguna Niguel to eat their Chicken Teriyaki. My niece and nephew enjoy eating their bowls as well, which makes it easier on me to feed them when I am baby sitting.
The staff is very friendly and as a regular customer they remember my name, which makes calling in my order from time to time easier. I always look forward to coming here and getting my fair share of good Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and sushi rolls!

They changed the name to Laguna Grill. This place has some really great food. Been eating here for years now it’s like a party in my mouth every time I eat here. The chicken bowl is outstanding but I tried something new for a change and now I’m really hooked. Try the Salmon Bowl with brown rice! It’s a life changer. Great job guys and keep making great food.

First of all it is now called «Laguna Grill». Great bowls and sushi for an awesome price. If you like flame broiler it’s the same thing here except tastier and feels fresher. Depending on what you want chicken bowl is 6 with tax and steak or chicken and stake is 8 – 9 with tax. They also serve sushi!!! Yes it is only California rolls and crunchy rolls but it’s better than nothing and are some of the most popular rolls out there. Always look forward to coming here :)

Very small portions. I had the chicken and steak bowl, and clearly had way more chicken than «steak», which was more like cheap beef. Worth about $ 4.50, not $ 8.00, not even close… Go next door and get Greek!

I always enjoy stopping by here for lunch when am in the area. It is my favorite chicken bowl place. Better than flame broiler IMO. Expect a fast lunch on the go type of place.
I always get the Super Bowl which cones with chicken, steak, edamame, ginger, and a shrimp tempura. It is always good. Sometimes they overload it with teriyaki sauce so if you want to be safe than sorry just get it with no sauce and add it on yourself when you get it. It is the same sauce. The quality of the chicken, steak, and shrimp tempura always good for me.
The sushi is a little better than average. Better than like the grocery market stuff if you know what i mean. Gets the job done if you are craving fast sushi and don’t want to pay tip at a sit down place.
Overall I look forward in eating here.

I love their Chicken teriyaki bowl. The store is small, but never that busy. I’ve gotten the food to go the couple of times I had food there They do cook the food when you order so expect to wait a little. This restaurant is in a small shopping center with limited parking, so during the lunch hour parking maybe difficult.

The food here is great. Much better than the majority of «Teriyaki Chicken Bowl» places that are popping up all over.
I particularly enjoy the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with Half California Bowl!
I subtracted one star specifically on the interior of the restaurant. I walked in mid-​day and there were no lights on (probably to save electricity) but still, it was pretty silly. But it made the place look and feel a little dingy…
Overall, based on the food and the price, I think a 4 is solid.

Fast food sushi??? I had to try it once, and once it will only ever
be. Here s my breakdown, 5.95 for a teriyaki bowl which was decent minus the burned pieces of chicken. Then I ordered a super cali roll which is a cali roll with eel on top. When I got the roll I laughed out loud. The roll was packed with so much rice and had a small amount of crab meat inside. The eel on top was a joke. It was the thinest slice of eel I have ever seen and still charged me 8.95. Shame on me once…
