The first place I really liked near Lahaina!!! Try steak and shrimp with avocado on a tartini. And very good cocktails, try lemoncela. This place very European !

Menu had good options but everything was a little bland. It’s combined with Melting Pot which made me realize it might be a chain… not sure.

If you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa or any other hotel in the Kaanapali area, this is a great place for dinner. From the Hyatt it was a short 10 minute drive and really easy to find. 100 Wines is on the 2nd floor and there is plenty of parking. The menu is very avant garde tapas bar and draws from the Italian, Spanish and French cuisines. The plates are meant to be shared and our party of 4 ordered 6 dishes and was quite full. Must try items: Spanish Tabla serrano ham, cured chorizo, manchego, spanish olives, almonds Crispy Cauliflower pancetta, parmesan, balsamic port reduction Pork Osso Bucco carrot ragu, grilled sriracha creamed corn on the cob Menage A Trois gianduja pot de crème, brandied cherries, house made chocolate pistachio biscotti, mixed nut brittle chocolate decadence cake, raspberry coulis The wine selection is quite good, and they group the wines under a particular price. For example, $ 9 French Wines, $ 7 Spanish Wines, etc. We went on a Thursday night at 8pm and had no problem getting a table, however everywhere you look online recommends that you make reservations in advance.

I came here for their New Year’s Eve dinner — 7 course meal from around the world with wine pairings for $ 75. That was a steal! We had a later dinner reservation, and at that time there were only 3 other tables occupied — all of which were bigger groups of at least 4. The noise level was pretty low as well. I thought the vibe inside was pretty cool. If you get one of the booths tucked away from the foot traffic, it can definitely be romantic. In the middle of the dining area was a table of wine bottles for sale. Unfortunately, I cannot remember our server’s name, but I do remember that she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of each of the wines that came with our meal. Ok, on to the seven courses… First course from America. Rings of fire(onion rings with buffalo sauce ketchup) paired w Blanc de Blanc from Sofia. A nice way to start the seven courses of gluttony — this came with a sparkler! Not like the typical onion rings that it was dredged in any old batter — I believe this was polenta crusted. While the onion ring without the ketchup tasted bland, I thought the wine complemented it well. I think if both items were full of flavor, they would have been competing on your taste buds. Second course from France. Mushroom chicken pâté(with grilled veggies lightly drizzled w basil oil and served with crostinis) paired w a rose from Le Poussin. I thought this was just so-so. It wasn’t too mushroom-y, which I guess was the downside for me because I really like mushrooms. Third course from the Middle East. Harissa koftas and barberry dolmades(lamb meatball skewer with basmati rice barberry dolmade and served w tzatziki) paired w a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from Stella. Now we’re getting somewhere with the flavors! Holy cannoli, those have been one of the better koftas I have eaten(and I had really good ones when I went to Istanbul). It was spiced perfectly. The spices in the dolmades were interesting, but it didn’t overshadow the taste of the koftas. I was definitely trying to savor each bite. Fourth course from Australia. Fried meat pie(ground kangaroo empanadas w curry powder, onions, garlic and vegemite) over a sweet pea herb purée and paired w a Crianza from Bodegas Sierra Cantabria. I was a little nervous about the vegemite, but the empanadas were made so well that I couldn’t even pick out the vegemite. The plate came with three meat pies and each no bigger than a deck of cards — a good sized portion especially when there were three more to go. And this was were I started to get the feeling of being full. Fifth course from Italy. Duck prosciutto pizze(housemade duck prosciutto drizzled with truffle oil and served w a fried egg on top) paired w a merlot from Falesco. They were very generous on the amount and size of duck prosciutto cooked on what looked to be a 6−7″ pizze. The duck was on the saltier side which resulted in my drinking the wine in a very un-lady-like manner. Sixth course from Spain. Lobster bunuelos(Spanich style fritters w a manchego cheese and pickled jalapeño remoulade) paired w a cava from Segura Viudas. Salty still, but not as salty as the duck course. This was really tasty and didn’t come out greasy. We got two generous-sized fritters. The lobster with the remoulade was fantastic. Seventh(and finally last) course to highlight the local flavors. Warm coconut soup with mochi(unfortunately, could not remember the wine pairing). This was a nice way to settle my over-stimulated taste buds and allow the belly to expand without intrusion. It wasn’t too sweet. I could probably have cut out two of the courses, the onion rings and either the duck or lobster(probably the duck because it was too salty for my taste and out of all the courses had the most oil). Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend this for groups or a romantic night out. If I were to go back, I would definitely make a return visit. Maybe not as a glutton.

This place is a gem! Parking is so easy, ambiance is fantastic, dim, kind of a rustic modern wine bar feel, service was excellent! Thank you Amber! Food was amazing, Brussels sprouts, mac crusted Brie, sliders, dessert trio all fabulous. Price is so reasonable for two we ate and drank for 100 even, a steal for the lahaina neighborhood. Love love this place and waiting for them to expand to Oahu!

Wine flight of 3, 3 oz pours of $ 45 bottle selections for $ 11 Great deal. I can’t even get that in Dallas. The wine was kept at the right temperature and service was good. They played good music and at one point I even heard some kaskade(4am). Well done! We are staying in wailea so it is a hike to come here. I suggest stopping by here before or after dinner in lahaina.

Veramonte Cabernet Sauvignon«El Caballero» is amazing! 100 Wines was bookmarked on my Unilocal and good thing that Star Noodle was an hour wait, otherwise we may not have found this treasure on our last trip to Maui! First off, the concept of the restaurant is a major plus for me. Tapas style food, an amazingly large & ecclectic wine menu, large comfortable booths to sit in and enjoy eachother’s company… perfect! My husband and I shared a bottle of the Veramonte Cabernet Sauvignon… mainly because«El Caballero» coindided with our last name. It was such a great wine, even more so, the owner tracked down where we could get it back home for us! Now, on to the food… we tried the: Polenta, Escargot, Brussel Sprouts in a Jar, Mac N’ Cheese & Wagyu Sliders… ALL were AMAZING! But my three favorites would have to be the Polenta with Ragu, Brussel Sprouts and Mac n’ Cheese! So decadent! We were with a group so we shared two desserts too: Macadamia Nut Crusted Brie and Menage A Trois… OMG…both were amazing but the Menage a Trois is a chocolate lovers dream! A MUST when on Maui. Give up the typical seaside restaurant for this place just one night… you will not be disappointed!

We were sent to 100 Wines by the manager at Pineapple Grill. We tried the Wine menu for new years eve. $ 70 for 7 dishes and 7 wine pairings. Great value for what they had to offer. I loved the grilled lobster and deep fried kangaroo pie. Will try their regular tapas next time. Our 5 year old picky eater liked the Wagyu slider.

4.5 stars, the ultimate in service, friendliness, one of the best dishes of Onion Soup loaded with Maui onions that I’ve ever tasted. Finally, something on Maui that is reasonably priced and the unbelievable brussel sprouts(only $ 10) with a very unique presentation… Enjoy, I know we did!

Honestly, the best Brussel Sprouts I, or any of you, have ever had. Grilled with a little bit of char, tangy sweet basalmic reduction, and big olé fat chunks of pancetta for a nice smokey saltiness. That alone was worth the ranking. All of the other dishes were also quite lovely, though don’t stand out nearly as much. And the wine list is absolutely fantastic. Its broken down by price, so both your binge drinker who wants lots-and-lots-o-wine for not much money, and your wine snob who wants one perfect glass will walk away happy. Its a LITTLE bit too dark inside for my tastes, but I went with my parents and I already know what they look like so that wasn’t too big of a deal

I’ve visited Maui the last 3 years in a row. I’m so happy that I have a place I’ll make sure not to miss every future visit. 100 Wines was a great all around dining experience. First of all, how can you go wrong with their wine selection? There is something good to try at every price point — whether you want a glass, a bottle, or a flight. Great choices and superb prices. The food is meant to be shared. Loved the brussels sprouts, beet salad, shrimp skewers, and fries. Save room for dessert — the chocolate cake in the jar with nutella gelato was divine. Loved that they had great after dinner drinks/cordials as well. Service was great and the atmosphere was very non-islandy. I felt transported to the California wine country. A very chill place… you’ll want to lounge, munch on creative tapas, and sip wine over great conversation.

This was the best place we ate in Maui! After staying at the hotel for most of our meals, we were so glad to get out and try an actual restaurant and this place ended up being better than anything else we ate! We walked in and sat at the bar, but the tables looked cozy too and had such cool lights that I’m sure it’s fun to sit there too. It was chilly, but I always bring a sweater so I was fine. The bartender, Joe, was super awesome and explained to us all the wines. They have so many and at such great prices! I was so happy they had my favorite, but my husband chose several different ones to try based on the recommendation of the bartender and he was definitely pleased. Also we heard Joe was voted 2nd best bartender in Maui, so definitely go check him out! As for food, I would have missed the brussel sprouts if Joe hadn’t pointed them out and i’m telling you they might be my favorite thing I’ve eaten EVER. I am so sad they are not close by here! I was nervous about them being fried, but they aren’t greasy and the balsamic reduction that is on them is just delicious! We also ate two tartines– a basic bruschetta and shrimp and avocado. Both were just as tasty. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are in Lahaina, go now!

So after two horrible meals on Front Street in Lahaina, we are tipped off to try this place. So F*ckin’ good!!! We came in late night and sat at the bar with Carli before closing. She was a sweetheart. We made a rez for the next day, and we were so glad we did. The food is outstanding, and the prices are so Un-Maui like. This we be on a regular rotation for me and my crew as we are here in HI alot. If you wanta great meal, and can live without the ocean view while you eat try this place. It’s about the food not the view!

I really liked this place. We found it on Unilocal and tried it out on our last night in Maui and we loved the atmosphere and food. There was a good variety of wines and you can get the wine flights to do some tasting. The food ideas and plating were really creative. We tried the brussel sprouts which was crispy and yum. The eggplant wrap was so-so. I preferred it hot. The tartine was good too, although if you like thin crust you should go with the flat breads.

Yes… this place DEFINITELY deserves all five stars!!! Came here this past Thursday night… MAKESUREYOUMAKE A RESERVATION since they seemed to get packed /busy quickly. We got seated… oh and if you’re not a local… bring a sweater if you’re wearing tank tops or a dress… their AC is pretty darn cold! Our server came… gave us our menus… and she was friendly and prompt. I started off with a glass of Pinot(forgot the name…) then my sis ordered a bottle later on… which I also forgot the name… yep, I was buzzing by the time we walked out of here! We ordered /shared the following items: — Assorted & Cured Olives = this were perfect while we waited for the rest of our entrees /dishes… it accompanied our first set of wine quite nicely. It was a good portion to definitely share with a group. — Macadamia Nut Crusted Bries(honey, grand marnier, croûton) = MYFAVORITE!!! Wow, I don’t think I’ll eat /think of brie the same way after having it here. OMG folks… it was delicious! The brie was perfectly creamy… the sweetness of the honey with the macadamia… oh my… seriously… I ate this all by myself(well I shared some with the group but for the most part… it was all me.) Definitely recommend this… really, you can’t go wrong! — French Charcuterie Board = the group liked this… but I didn’t really eat much since I was busy doing damage with the brie. — paella, spanish tomato bread(their special for Thursday) = it was good… I wasn’t really impressed with the dish since I think my mom makes it better. It wasn’t seasoned enough for me and the rice was a bit on the hard side. — Red Wine Poached Pears(goat cheese mousse, walnut streussel) = this was delicious!!! Definitely a must get … it’s sweet… but just the right amount of sweetness. It wasn’t overpowering… it was honestly a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Folks… you have to check this place out! Friendly service… delicious food… amazing wines with amazingly DECENT and affordable wine prices!!! I’m already looking forward to my next visit next time I’m in town! PS: definitely perfect for date night!!!

Why doesn’t Lahaina have a proper tasting room??? We were visiting and some friends at the Yacht Club told us about this new place. It is part of the Melting Pot. In fact they are the bar area of the melting pot. We were excited to try it. Lots of wines nicely displayed… a $ 25 table, a $ 35 table and a wine cellar with the wines that are above $ 35. The décor is nice and the place is kind of fancy. We were glad to be there our first night in Lahaina. We asked for a tasting and there was some confusion. They did get us a three wine flight, we wanted a white and two pinot noirs. They only had one pinot…(100 wines and one pinot! Didn’t they watch Sideways?) My wife thought it pretty wierd that they put the white in the middle of the flight… we were figuring out that the guy serving us knows absolutely nothing about wines. He was very nice but needs a little basic training. For our second flight we asked for three big bold reds. Didn’t happen, they were very thin and not too good. I looked into the wine cellar and was amused that they had Ménage à Trois in with their premium wines… I had picked up a few bottles at K-Mart near the airport($ 7.99) I asked the server what they charged for that wine because I was curious he looked it up and it was $ 38/bottle. Yikes! This place has some markup! I always thought it was a pretty good wine for the money and a far cry better than what we tasted in our flights – I looked around a little more for a $ 28 bottle of 2-buck-chuck and couldn’t find it-maybe beacuse there isn’t a trader joes on Maui(?) Our dinner was tasty, we shared a salad and a steak. A small meal at a large price. All in all I would say this place was a little bit of a disappointment. Not as bad as some two star places, it had ambiance and the people who worked there were very nice. But I would hope that a place that calls itself«100 Wines» would provide a much better wine experience.

Atmosphere: Located within the Melting Pot restaurant, 100 Wines occupies the bar and front areas of the space. No views from the room but it’s nicely decorated in warm & dark colors. We tagged along with some friends visiting from SF. My other half had already eaten here so I wanted to try it as well. Beverage: Lemoncello cooler — Nice flavor and not too strong. Didn’t even get a buzz from it. Prisoner red wine — It’s good. I am so not a fan of wine(I’m a beer guy) but forced myself to drink it. I’m sure I’ll get used to wine down the road. Food: Grilled pita — It’s okay. Pretty much a quesadilla with 3 different spreads which are hummus, Babaganoush(eggplant,) and cucumber yogurt. Eggplant doesn’t agree with me so I tried only the other two which were good. Brussels sprouts — This was awesome! Got it because of positive reviews on Unilocal and on recommendation from our server. It’s(I think) pan-seared in balsamic vinegar with pancetta and topped with shaved parmesan cheese. Surfing goat dairy cheese board — I love cheese, so this dish was a great app. Came with toast crackers. Shrimp avocado flatbread — Wow, this was awesome. Total oral orgasm. The bread was soft and chewy, the shrimp & avocado goes well together. Topped with almonds, mozzarella, garlic-lime aioli & chile. Croque Madame — My all-time fav. A definite must-have again next time. I first ate this concoction in Paris. Basically a ham & cheese open-faced sandwich with a fried egg. Sounds simple, but tastes oh so damn delish! Burger Royale — Very, very good. Had to try the wagyu meat I’ve been hearing all about. Anything mixed with pork belly has to be and was super delish. I couldn’t taste the blue cheese(yuck, not a fan!) so that was a plus. The bag of fries stayed piping hot till the end. Amazing. 7÷17÷12 update: Beef bourguignon — Monday night special only. Beef, potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, and onions simmered in a dark brown gravy. Carrots were a little raw for my taste. Sauce was a bit on the light side but very good. Patatas bravas — Seasoned & deep fried potato wedges with a smoked paprika aioli sauce on the side. Very tasty. 8÷10÷12 update: Calamari — Wow, it was pretty damn awesome. Very few places do a nice calamari. By nice I mean with a super light and crunchy batter. Didn’t even use the dipping sauce, whatever it was. Escargot — 5 pieces stuffed into a fake escargot shell which I’ve never seen before. Good taste and nice presentation. Dessert: Nutella ice cream — Tastes almost like Carnation malt ice cream, but in a good way. I’m a fan. If I see it in the grocery store, I’d definitely buy some. Crème brûlée — This was the first crème brûlée I’ve tasted that wasn’t extra sweet, which is good, but more on the saltier-side. Service: Our female server was awesome. Very friendly and down to earth. Pretty knowledgable about the wines, but I could care less not being a fan of wine. That’s what the others at the table were there for! Overall: It’s a simple concept — tons of wine and great food, at great prices. A definite awesome addition to Maui’s culinary choices. If you’re a tourist, you should definitely dine here, as it’s priced great and tastes(to me) even better than some hotel food. Can’t wait to go back for more.
