Medrano’s

I will never go back to this medranos or any of them, and I would recommend that no one go back here.
the service was terrible, prices are retarded for basic drinks and entrées.
I went on a Saturday night. so definitely try to avoid at least on Saturdays if it all the time.

Haven’t been here in a while. food was ok I had the mole it was my first mole ever and it was good have to ask to make it Spicer next time. Chips and salsa was ok salsa needed a lil more salt but other than that I enjoyed my bar experience at Medrano’s. Veggies/​cheese mole enchiladas with beans and rice $ 11.93.

These guys are amazing! After a poor experience next door at Famous Dave’s. We had to figure out how to feed 50 people Willie the manager and his great staff did not blink an eye and accommodated our big party with no reservations, serving good food great drinks and fun in a friendly place. The service was fantastic. They treated us like family, I I will return for the many times I am in Lancaster for soccer tournaments. Great job Medrano’s!

Amazing Food and Awesome Service. We have been here three times and make it a point to visit with each Southern California trip. We have had the fajitas, Mocajete (sorry for the spelling) bowl, tacos and chile verde. Everything has been perfect, including the chips and salsa. The service is out of this world amazing and we have always been very satisfied.

I was here for new year s and had to give them a low rating. I was very disapointed that they have gone down soo much in there quality for food.
I wanted to have nice dinner, drinks, music for new years and there food was very bland.
Micheladas we good at least.
They used to have pretty good food and i loved ordering those apetizer platters to go with my food.

We would have stayed longer and had dinner if we could have gotten the attention of a waitress… Would have totally spent more money here… Moving on to the next restaurant/​bar. Karaōke is way to loud… Asked him to turn it down twice. Bad singers … Way to loud… And no serivrce or food!!!,

Just came back from a wedding reception and it was at the Medranos.
Here’s my review:
The staff did a very good job setting up the reception. They provided extra seats when we ran out of seats. They always check if we needed refills on our drinks and always provided us with chips and salsa when were running low. Very attentive staff and they even provided boxes for our cakes to go without even asking.
Food: The buffet was very delicious. They provided the typical rice and beans (which were awesome. There red and green enchiladas were not to bad. There chicken and beef mixed with bell peppers tasted excellent.
if your in the Lancaster/​Palmdale area and looking for a place to have a reception/​big party I highly recommend Medrano’s

One of the best places to have drinks in the A.V. Also it has that home bar feeling to it, and the food is good too.

Usually I would give this place a 5… my first time ordering to go for a group and will probably never do so again. I was told it would be 15 – 20 minutes and arrived about 25 minutes and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes. I asked to split one item on my bill and the lady at the register gave me an attitude and said she had a lot of things to do and I wasn’t the only person eating here. I have worked in customer service and in a restaurant for many years and I would never give my customers that attitude even feeling overwhelmed. If it wasn’t for everyone else that ordered with me I would have walked out and taken my business else where. Like I said, I’m very dissapointed as I have been coming here with my family for years and having a family member even worked on this restaurant leaves me with an upset feeling. I now have 5 minutes to drive back to work and attempt to eat my food… Thank you

Food is fantastic. We had a great time and service was very good as well. Price was not bad in relation with the quality time we had. We are going back there!

Love it here, i usually go for the lunch buffet under $ 10 all you could eat. Im a regular here. Jesus and edith are the best. Sunday also has a bigger buffet with everything from pancakes, salad misc Mexican food, fresh tortillas love it here like my home away from home!

I absolutely love Mia!!! Tip her very nicely lol she’s the best waitress and deserves it… The Medranos bar (not the restaurant side) has the best happy hour prices, drinks and food in Lancaster. I absolutely love coming here every time I come home to visit friends and family. This place is cozy, fun, and a has a happy atmosphere. Karaōke is always a plus and the locals are friendly. Great place for friends and fun. Not for romantic couples or date night lol

Food was great, DJ was great! Prices were ok, Staff was attentive.

Went there tonight for dinner with my husband and son, thought we would give this place one last chance after numerous bad past experiences, once again we left furious because the service was even more horrible then the last time. The server chick walked by our table seversal times seeing my drink had been empty for quite a long time and never took the time to refill it. She nor her backup busser person ever took the time to ask us if we were ok they just kept on walking by our table ignoring our empty glasses. Needless to say we will NEVER eat at this place again.

My husband and I came for a late dinner tonight. He got the plate with 3 types of shrimp: the garlic shrimp was in some mush of garlic and corn or something, didn’t taste much like garlic, and the breaded shrimp was just hard and tasteless, the bacon shrimp could have done with less bacon. I got the enchilada combo, Mi Ranchitos enchiladas have WAY more flavor… well now we know what this place is like, needless to say we won’t be returning.

Great food. Good price. Monday night buffet was great! Could have used fresh tortillas and salsa but the food was flavorful and abundant. Will definitely come back.

So, I was visiting girlfriends and this was the hot spot for grub. I ordered a tequila bowl and when the girl came back I was shocked. The drink actually came in a damn bowl. Child when I say I slurped that drink down to the ice, you couldn’t tell me that that drink was everything. I definitely will be ordering that when I return. Now for the food, I ordered the seafood enchiladas which were good, nice serving as well.

There are hardly words to describe how bad the food was. The lunch buffet between 11:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday seemed like a good stop for hanging out with friends and visiting. Wrong. The price is low, but then again, I’ve heard it said you get what you pay for. You couldn’t pay me to go back for the buffet again. Looking at the selection, it wasn’t terribly exciting, but I asked myself, «How can you go wrong with cheese enchiladas?» Well, I discovered you can. The pan was filled with cut up cheese enchilada pieces, so I took four of these small things. My first bite was a revelation. My second bite was a revelation. At this point, I took all the enchilada pieces and unfolded them. What I saw wrapped inside the tortilla was … nothing!!! Seriously, there were about two molecules of cheese in the tortilla, so they were basically serving a wrapped up tortilla with some sauce and shreds of cheese melted over the top.
Generally-​speaking, the food on the buffet was barely warm. What an embarassment. The exception was the Albondigas soup which was at least hot and the best thing available.
We are not going back. Quite a fall from the food quality of years ago.
