I thought I could save time by calling curbside take-away. Boy, was I wrong. I was 18 mins away and made it to the restaurant, told the waiter I am on the phone waiting for you to answer. Oops!

I thought I would call my order in ahead of time to hope that I would not have to wait for the food long. I was wrong… the wait was an hour and twenty minutes for a salad, wings, and a blooming pedals. The service in one of PG County, MD well business areas is getting worse every time

This is the worst Outback location in the county. You can order your food an hour in advance and it still won’t be ready when you come to pick it up, then you have to deal with the careless teens who are more interested in conversing with one another than finding out why your order isn’t ready. Skip the headache and go to the Bowie location because the Largo one gives the typical bad customer experience found in the area.

I was very disappointed with this latest trip to outback, the service was friendly but slow, and the steaks were under seasoned and cooked wrong. My medium rare steak was over cooked while my wife’s medium steak was way under cooked. And she asked for blue cheese crumbles on top and after forgetting to add it on, once they did it was a pitiful amount. Needless to say the side salad was the best part of the meal. Normally this outback isn’t horrible but this last trip will definitely make me reconsider coming back for a while.

Wow the reviews are totally correct. I called for takeout and was put on hold for a good 15 minutes by some hoodrat named Eyasia or something else ridiculous like that. I literally called on another line to see what the hold up was and immediately got put on hold again. She answered the line I called from the second time first and kept the line I called from first on hold. Just what I would expect from someone with a name like Eyasia or whatever it was. 10 minutes into the call I was already over it so I ordered a hundred dollars and change worth of food that Eyasia can stuff in her rude mouth.

They take forever to get the food out. Took us 3 hours to eat a meal.

If I could give this establishment less than one star, I would. We were visiting from out of town and came to Outback for dinner. We chose Outback because we like the food and have always had good dining experiences. However, on this Saturday evening at 8pm, we went to the bar. A bartender came over and wiped down the area with a foul smelling, dirty cloth. She put down 2 napkins and left. We sat there for almost 15 minutes while she proceeded to talk to a friend. Two other bartenders never even acknowledged us. We chose to leave and the host/hostess did not make any attempt to resolve our situation. We were very disappointed and will never return to this Outback location.

I am very disappointed with place. I ordered a medium ribeye. First they brought out well done which, or course, I refused to touch. FINALLY the bartender took it back and tried to get it re made. I’ve uploaded a pic of what they brought out, medium rare! And to make matters worse, the manager didn’t even come over to check if my food was cooked properly. The bartender took off the bloomin onion appetizer from the bill but I’m not sure why bc it was fine… why didn’t they comp the steak? I was so done with this place I didn’t even bother to ask.

I haven’t gone out to eat in my neighborhood for quite some time because more often than not I am sorely disappointed. Tonight I tried again, mindful to low expectations but alas even that level of quality and service could not be met. The waitress, while not egregiously bad, was staunchly indifferent and consistently late with water, with the appetizer and with any true concern for her required job skills. The late crab stack appetizer was an assault to good taste. Upon visual inspection you can clearly see a thick layer of brown avocado. This site is abhorrent to anyone versed in enjoying it’s creamy green delights. I dared to try a taste against better judgement and what my taste buds discovered was bland and tasteless. The main dish did not fare any better. The prime rib was lukewarm at best and lacking much seasoned crust. There were staff that I saw that were truly hustling and I think that some there think that they are doing a good job. All the more reason that I post this review. Try tough they might, getting good service in this area lies squarely in the realm of impossibility. I have lived here for over 10 years and in all those years that sobering fact has not changed.

I’m a stickler for great customer service when it comes to spending my hard earned money. This particular outback is hit or miss.

Came on a Saturday around 8pm. Waited 30 minutes for a table. It seemed busy, but didn’t look as busy. Perhaps they were short waiters. Our waitress had about 5 busy tables. When we got our food, mine was very salty(flat iron, med well steak). The brocolli was rubbery and my mashed potatoes were really dry. I also got a $ 4 rum drink that tasted like sugared down kool aid. Will not be returning.

Wow!!! Boss man and myself and two associates arrived 12:30pm and at the hostess stand asked for table for 4. They looked at us like deer in headlights and said it would be a 20 minute wait. We looked at the nearly EMPTY dining room maybe 2 tables like WHATTTTT??? Boss man — We will NEVER be eating here again. Had a great meal and service at Olive Garden — Bowie Town Center.

Subpar. Chain restaurants are usually mediocre and this location wasn’t an exception. When I opened my menu the pages were stuck together by some old piece of food and the service wasn’t horrible but it definitely wasn’t good. I didn’t choose to go here but my mom likes it for some reason. The price isn’t worth subpar food and the establishment needs to clean it’s tables, plates, utensils and the menus. Actually just throw them away and buy new ones because the ones we had were either sticky or falling apart. Unfortunately the entire family was subjected to this experience and I highly doubt we will be returning.

This Outback has definitely gone down hill. Whoever the new manager is, is absolutely awful. The bartenders(Blair) suck. The service sucks. The food comes out wrong and cold. No one greeted us at the door and when we sat at the EMPTY bar, it took the bartender 10min to greet us. The last time I was there, the bathroom smelled SO bad that I had to walk across the street to the Jaspers to use theirs. As a patron who used to frequent this establishment on a WEEKLY basis, it was very disapointing to see it go from a standing room only restaurant, to whatever it is you want to call it now. I’ve gone on different occasions and each time, the service has gotten worse. They have definitely lost me as a patron.

Alexis is such an awesome waitress. Very attentive and pleasant. She had a big smile on her face like she loves her job and her customers. I’m so glad I came here despite the bad reviews. Oh… the food was excellent!!!

After my two previous visits to this location, I all but gave up on the restaurant and it’s customer service. On my last visit, I didnt even get a chance to dine after the poor service I received. Well, actually«lack of service» I received. After sitting in the self seating bar area waiting over 20 minutes without anyone or server coming to my table to even take my beverage order, I decided to leave. Upon leaving, I asked to speak to the manager on duty to voice my dismay with the lack of service. The manager, Henry quickly apologized and offered to «comp» my meal and an appetizer to make it up to me. Staying there any longer was the last thing on my mind, so he suggested I come back another time and dine for free to win my business back. Well, I decided almost 3 weeks later to return and take him upnon his offer to «Wow Me». The service was 100% better from the time I enter the restaurant. We were seated in the dining room when I quickly asked for the manager on duty, which happened to be Henry again. He came over and greeted me with a warm«manager welcome» and I reminded him of my last visit. He said he was glad that I came back to give them another try on the house as he suggested. My guest and I ordered an appetizer and two dinner entrees. The service was great and the food was even better than any of my previous visits and I let Henry know that before leaving. OUTBACKSTEAKHOUSE has won my business back!

Had a bad experience at my neighborhood Outback so I decided to drive a little further to patronize this one. Glad I did! Food was great! Service was good. We were halfway through dinner before we got our drinks which was the only downside. The online seating function is awesome! We were seated shortly after we arrived and within the quoted time frame. Will definitely visit again!

So I don’t eat at Outback often, though I USED to. I’m not too sure that I’ll resume frequent visits. They’ve undergone a smidge of a facelift in many or most of their locations and they look great. Got rid of a lot of the chintzy gimmicky stuff. I’ve found where they got the money to do it. Yeah, they’ve cheaped out on the actual steaks. I think I’ve had the benefit of not eating here with gaps of months and years in between and I’ve realized that the quality of food is not what it used to be. For the average dinner, it’ll suffice. But if you’re looking for a meal that you’ll wake up at 3:38am and reminisce about, this is no longer the place. This isn’t a scathing review and it’s not a negative review. I’m just saying that I’ve had better steaks in cheaper places at this point… and Outback is a friggin steakhouse. *shrug* NOTE: I have not in the last couple of visits to this location experienced poor customer service or long waits. But to be fair, I’ve typically gone at non-peak times. I’m not good with waiting to eat.

Never again. The only thing my mother wanted for her birthday was to go to Outback, so we took her. We decided on lunch since I know dinner can be very busy. We arrived at 1145am. We were the only people in the place — no exaggeration. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and then didn’t see the waitress again for maybe 20 min. She rudely brought the drinks and appetizer(which was doused in oil) and then another 20 min until our meal. Once the meal hit the table, we had to ask for drink refills, which were brought out with an attitude. Not once did she ever come by to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything… we didn’t see her until she came to bus the table and leave the check… without saying 1 word. The food was mediocre, even for a chain restaurant. Why would you be so rude to your only table for over an hour?

Oh Outback, Outback Oh how I want to love you so! WHY do you do this to me?! Cause me to write a negative review for such a highly potential place… ok so here goes… Arrive here for a birthday get together for a friend. It was a little over 25 people. Once we were seated we had 1 waitress assigned to our table and that was the first red flag. While she did the best she could to keep up it was clear that she needed some help. Sad but I didn’t even catch her name… sorry! Anywho, I ordered the No Rules Parmesan Pasta with Shrimp. It finally came out and the alfredo sauce tasted like they forgot an ingredient, the shrimp was overcooked and the pasta was too sticky. I think when I visit this Outback I will be sure to stick to what they are known for and what I have tasted and liked. Victorian Syle Steak, bloomin onion, wings… yum! STAYAWAYFROMTHEPASTA! They get 3 out of 5 stars because service and food here is hit or miss…

Party of Seven! Party1: it’s all you can eat shrimp nite, but we are out if «that type» of shrimp! Apparently the all you can eat shrimp is different than the other shrimp. Party 2: I had to clean my silverware before I used it… The knife was greazy! Yes«greazy» and not just greasy! Party 3: We must have been in a shrimp black hole because all the other tables had all you can eat shrimp on command. Party 4: Similar sized party seated before ours after waiting less than 5 minutes, yet we had been waiting for 15mins. Party 5: Oily Bloomin Onions served but had to ask for napkins, not once but twice. Party 6: I kindly requested a pitcher of sangria for my husband and I, but instead we were served a pitchers of ice with grape juice. Extremely disappointed and won’t make this mistake again. Party 7: Extremely unprofessional service. Waiter was not friendly at all. I order a“melon chelada” and the waiter said: we are not serving this drink cuz we are out of coronas and btw this drink is not good anyways. I’m was really shocked with his comment. How can they criticize their own menu? That’s ridiculous! The manager had the audacity to come over and ask if everything is ok!!! Outback headquarters should shut this location down.

I hadn’t been to Outback in a long time, but was pleasantly surprised to order a grilled porkchop with a baked potato and ceasar salad that was big and delicious. I couldn’t eat all of it, but I certainly enjoyed what I was able to eat. I shared a brownie aka mode with a friend and we weren’t able to eat all of that either. Oh! Almost forgot our appetizer was spinach artichoke dip, and just like the rest of the meal it was delicious too. The server was on point too, she came and checked on us just enough and earned the really nice tip I left her.
