Its a shame because the food is actually good here. The host’s attitude was atrocious, and she shouldn’t have been in the front seating people if her attitude reflected dog do do. The manager apologized for bad behavior. Its disconcerting to have to deal with people who don’t look like they want to be there. Go with caution.

I ate here prior to 2007 probably when they were under different management. I had a chicken Marsala and the mushrooms made me sick — literal food poisoning, vomiting the rest of the night. Their slogan is «in the spirit of fun» Went back Dec 272015 with a party of 8 and had a good experience. Personally I ordered the kiwi lemonade — bright green, much like sugar water, and the cowboy sliders medium well, which were cooked correctly, and a dinner salad with my entrée. For such a large party our order was correct and the bill was $ 166.13 as it was a family reunion dinner none of us ordered alcohol and no one was sick thankfully. This is an ok spot but the neighborhood has a history of violence, and the restaurant is under surveillance because someone was stabbed there years back?

I’m usually a fan, bit tonight was less than perfect. The server was slow and lost. Crab dip was horrible, spinach dip was ok. I ordered a steak that was like shoe leather. I will be back I just know what not to order next time

I really like Jasper’s! I came here with a friend for a late bite and I had a good time. The hostess greeted us immediately and we were promptly seated. Our server, Cameron was a very polite young man and when we decided to get their super combo, he suggested the spicy tiger sauce for the wings. OMG those wings were good! As a matter of fact, the super combo was super delicious. The atmosphere was nice and chill – it has a more mature crowd, which is what I like. The bathroom was clean too. They don’t allow any riff raff and there’s clear police presence. Also, this place is pretty large, plenty of seating at the bar and throughout the restaurant. After we paid the bill, our server said God Bless – didn’t expect that and thought it was nice but I can see it being uncomfortable if you don’t believe in God. Anyway, I definitely want to go back and try some other dishes and drinks from their menu.

This place was horrible. Food was cold and nasty. Service was piss poor. The manager was piss poor and unprofessional. I’m so tired of going to restaurants in predominantly African American neighborhoods and receive subpar service. It’s so dissatisfying. I’m tired of it. This is absolutely my last time here. Never again.

This Jaspers has been here for a veeeeeerrrryy long time. I used to come here often for birthday parties or with large groups. However, I was reintroduced to their lunch specials. $ 8.99 for their Cajun Blackened Salmon Salad. When I tell you this salad is everything and then some! Its filling, very tasty and healthy. I couldn’t make a better salad at home for this price AND I love to cook. The parking lot has ample space. Its located off of 202 with 2 other restaurants in the same parking lot. The bartender Jacqui is nice. I can tell she gets a lot of regulars because it feels like cheers when you sit down at the bar. The only reason I took away a star is because they don’t have great service or any reception at all AND no wifi… Like really, get in 2016! I also asked the bartender for a specific drink and they either didn’t have the ingredients or didn’t know how to make it. But they have great food and great prices. Try their spinach dip or crab dip! #devine

Go at your own risk! Management is too disrespectful. They are so rude & do not know how to speak to customers.

Had a first date here! Came because of the Shrimp & Grits which we found out were taken off the menu, ugh! Our server was very cool, date went well, got surprised with some really good Strawberry Shortcake! The Tiger Shrimp was amazing, the Crab Cakes were good, and the Lobster Bisque was just okay along with drinks but my guy said his Long Island Ice Tea was good along with his Shrimp & Chicken pasta… Will be back for that Tiger Shrimp for sure, and nice atmosphere!

First and probably last time coming back. The brunch direction is sub-par; fruit wasn’t fresh and most of the breakfast items were not good to me… except the waffles. My dining companions were in agreement. However, it was well stocked. They also don’t offer unlimited mimosas or even an option to order a pitcher Our waiter wasn’t that attentive, to the point where we decided to help clear our own dishes. Granted we were a large group, but c’Mon son! It wasn’t that busy The biggest issue I had were the employees… We were seated near the kitchen and a lot of the employees came out of the back and chatted loudly near our table. No bueno Jasper’s tries to give off an «old school glamour vibe», but honestly it just seemed a bit dated to me. There are so many other places with better food.

This review is for the Sunday brunch. The wait was to be expected, roughly 30 minutes(arrived at noon). The food selection at the bar was pretty good. waffles, MTO omelets etc. They also had a hot bar with fried chicken, mussels, mashed potatoes, yams, etc. The $ 3 mimosas are definitely worth it.

I’ve been here a few times. A cool place to go to instead of the club on a late night. The food is good and so is the crowd.

Always enjoy myself here! I’ve been coming here for a few years. It has only gotten better and better! The food has gotten a lot better also. From the wings to the pasta to the seafood dishes. Everything on the menu is good and prepared nicely. There’s always a decent crowd.

Today’s visit has been one of the best experiences I have ever had at this restaurant. First, the renovations they made were great! More open floor space and seating around the bar! My waiter, Stephon, approached me while waiting for spaces to open up at the bar and offered to have me seated at one of his tables(in the new section) while I waited on my guest and bring me a drink. After I sat down, he came over with my beer and took my food order which came out quickly. He was funny and very personable. After the food came out, he came over shortly after to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the food. He made several stops to refill our drinks as well. I noticed him engaging all of his tables with conversation and laughter. I come here frequently and have had a few less than stellar experiences, but the fun atmosphere & tiger wings keep me and my friends coming back. I am so glad Jaspers has brought on someone who cares so much about taking excellent care of his customers. I will be sure to ask for him whenever I visit!

Today, I wanted to try something different and try out Jasper’s brunch. Umm… All I can say is that they tried. This place is great otherwise but the food today was underwhelming. The food is served buffet style. They have you typical breakfast food(bacon, eyes, sausage, grits… Etc), omelette, fajita, and waffle station. There is a fruit/salad section. The fruit was definitely old. The kiwi was extra slimy. The desserts need to be vastly revisited. I tried their chocolate cake but it was not too tasty. The highlight for me was the mimosa. I’ve never had it was ice but it was cool. Also, I will ask for the manager to verify the spelling of words on cakes before sending it on the floor for customers.(See the attached photo) «Happy Thanksgiveng tho»? I recommend for lunch and dinner. Miss brunch.

It was pretty tasty. Went today for Sunday Brunch and I enjoyed it. Had Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Lol The sweet tea was good and the Orange Juice. Loved the waffles as well with the fruit. Here is a tip: GOBEFOREPEOPLEGETOUTOFCHURCH! It’s way less people. They give you a time limit of 2 hours so eat up. Can’t wait to go back again with my husband next time.

Meh. I wasn’t impressed. I’ve visited Jasper’s on several occasions, the most recent being a few Saturdays for a late lunch. I went with a group of friends, I believe there was six of us total, around 3 pm, so the midday lunch rush had subsided by the time we were seated. I ordered the broiled seafood platter. The food was plentiful, but bland. I should have ordered a burger or something a little less fancy. Jasper’s is not a seafood restaurant, and therefore, my expectations for their seafood should have been a bit lower than they were. One thing that was REALLY good was their strawberry lemonade. That was delicious.

I actually enjoyed Jaspers. My server Molly was awesome. She was truly attentive and she was knowledgeable about the menu. I went on a Saturday afternoon, so the place wasn’t packed. It was quite pleasant. I ordered the spinach dip for an appetizer. It was the best I’ve had. For lunch, I had a black bean burger with tiger sauce and some«interesting» mayo. I strongly dislike the mayo-ish sauce. The patty was undercooked, and I’m a vegetarian so I know. For sides, I got the broccoli and sweet potato casserole. My sides were awesome! The broccoli was steamed with herbs. The sweet potato casserole was more of a dessert with the cinnamon and brown sugar. I’m definitely returning simply for the apps, sides, and maybe drinks.

I thank God for being pretty. Because it earned my friend and I preferential treatment here. #theperksofwomanhood But seriously though. I had never been to Jasper’s before but I had heard good things about it. My friend suggested we go, and thus, we went. Upon entering, we could barely get the door open before an employee tripped over himself to hold the door for us. As soon as we got to the front, the host made a comment about our ‘gorgeous’ appearance and asked where we wanted to sit, saying we could ‘walk around and take our pick’. Lol, well thanks. We scanned the area, chose a spot, and told him where we wanted to sit. It was at that moment I noticed the ‘dress code’ regulating what men and women could wear. That was interesting. We were seated quickly and immediately were greeted by a young man who had A LOT of tables to wait on, yet he was extremely attentive to our needs! He probably told us we were beautiful like four or five times lol, and of course he gave us some extra freebies just because he liked the way we looked lol. The food was really good… I savored every last little bit. My friend and I both got speciality burgers, and the fries were amaze! I swear the bill was wayyyy less than it was supposed to be!;-) We tipped our server well, though he requested our numbers instead lol. There’s a heavy police presence in and around this building to prevent rift-raft from happening. However it seemed like some of them were more concerned about trying to make love connections… I had an officer leave his post to try and get my number… lmao. Lol I loved Jasper’s.
