I have a great time every visit. Great food, good drinks depending on who’s bartending… I like Linda the bartender. anyways usually a band and a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Not all stuffy. Just a good ol time!!!

I have to admit — when I first pulled up to this restaurant… I was a bit skeptical(the outside seemed like a regular rinky dink hotel bar and grill type of place). When you go inside, its the exact opposite. Clean, neat, etc. I went on a Friday night and the live band was great. There were enough people there for it to be a good time, but not overcrowded where I felt uncomfortable and annoyed. I ordered the seafood fettucine and it was some of the best seafood pasta I have ever had.(I added some crushed red peppers for added spice and it was perfect). Our waiter was awesome as well(I believe Tristian?). I was there for a party for a friend’s mom(there were about 10 – 12 of us) and he was patient, helpful, and funny. I would definitely like to check this place out for a regular weekday dinner and brunch!

The food is awesome. The service and professionalism is not up to par. They need to be more professional with phone etiquette and service. We waited at the door for more then 5 minutes with a man coming up who didn’t even look like a host or introduced hisself as one. But the singer or entertainment Ashley B was amazing. Jill Scott and other soul artist is what she sung.

This is the ABSOLUTEWORST customer service experience I have EVER received in my life. I went to a Happy Hour event on 6÷10÷16. It was packed, I go to the bar to order the drink and all of the bartenders were ignoring people at the bar, attempting to avoid eye contact. I finally get one of the people behind the bar’s attention and it was none other than the OWNER Donell Long. So, I’m thinking to myself that this would be a great thing because anytime the owner of an establishment is involved, the experience should be fabulous. I ask him can I order drinks and he nods his head. I tell him what I want to order and he holds his hand up in the shape of a square, attempting to ask for my I.D. but used not one word. So I ask, do you need my I.D. and he nods his head yes. He begins to make a scene by taking out his flashlight and calculating my age on his calculator. After that he goes to make the drinks. I asked him how much the drink would be and he looked at me and proceeded to tell another bartender how much to charge me. Keep in mind I’m there for a Happy Hour. The other bartender brings me a receipt that had regular priced drinks on it. I asked him why was I being charged regular prices for a Happy Hour and he proceeds to say that the owner said that the event I was there for must be at the other location in Upper Marlboro. But there were men of Omega Psi Phi everywhere as it was their event. I asked the bartender to let me speak with the owner as it was clear I was at the right event and I wanted to know why I was being charged these prices. I watched the bartender go up to him and the owner starts yelling and cussing saying that he refuses to speak with me. I will never EVER step in OTI in Largo ever again as the service was BEYOND piss poor from the owner down to the waiters. I love to support black owned business but this was ABSOLUTETRASHHHH!!! save yourself the trip

The breakfast is just ok. Fish and grits… Grits not completely cooked. The chicken and and waffles– small chicken strips, almost dry, absolutely no seasoning — including no salt and no pepper. The chicken was fried in flour only. The waffles were amazing. The waiters are great.

Worst service ever. Not one person in there is pleasant, not even the owner. I don’t know how someone has a business and no one in there has any form of customer service training. When I met the owner, I see why the staff treat customers badly, they’re being lead by example.

Was really excited about the oti in largo since i had such a good experience in upper Marlboro. It was the worst! It was hottest day of the spring and the a/c wasnt on. We walked in and there was no one to greet us, there was a couple of seats at the bar but there was a mess there left by a previous customer that the bartender who spent more energy trying to ignore us didn’t seem interested in cleaning up. After seating ourselves at a pub table, we were continued to be ignored while the bartender which seemed to be the only employee chewed on food and complained to the other patrons about the heat. Once we decided to leave to take our money elsewhere, we were finally acknowledged with simply«yall leaving»…was embarrassed i suggested this place. Left the city to patronize our own ppl. I really hope they can right this ship

My family and I love the Upper Marlboro location. However, the Largo location is consistently inconsistent in every single area. My family went on yesterday for Sunday brunch to celebrate my brothers birthday. The hours listed on the Website reflect a 9am opening! However, when we got there at 11am, they stated they had a party the night before and wouldn’t open until 11:30am! Trying to be supportive of Black Business — we waited for about 20 minutes to be seated. We had one server for a party of 20 people. She bought us 10 menus for 20 people! The server took our orders, bought our drinks and then we waited and waited for our food! We were seated at 11:20am and our food came out at 12:40pm! The food came out one plate at a time, half of our party was done eating, while the others was still waiting for their food. The entire experience was just BAD! I just added this restaurant to my list — of never going back spots!

Nice space, horrible service! & needless to say there’s no working restroom, you have to go to the hotel in order to use the restroom.

I typically only write reviews if I am extremely satisfied or dissatisfied. This is my second time dining at this restaurant and I must say both experiences were quite similar in regards to service. The food was good. However I was throughly DISSATISFIED with the service from the start to finish. My dining experience on May 8, 2016. To start, we waited at the door for several minutes while the hostess and two other employees frantically ran around and never bothered to greet anyone standing at the door. They seemed as if they didn’t know what was going on. Upon begin seated, we were given two menus to share among three people. We selected the buffet; the buffet is only offered during certain holidays. We waited in line for the buffet to find that the buffet was not properly stocked with food being replenished, utensils, plates and serving spoons. Customers were using plastic spoons to serve food. Apparently the restaurant also ran out of utensils. They provided plastic spoons in the utensil basket; in my opinion this is distasteful. The plastic spoons are better than nothing but they were dusty and dirty. The food was not properly stocked and there were numerous times in which only half of the food selections were available. The items that were served: fruit, chicken wings, bacon, waffles, sausage, apples(which replaced the french toast once they ran out), shrimp(replaced by cornbread hash once they ran out). There was also an omelette station. Several food items stated on the buffet menu were not provided(picture of menu attached); for example peach cobbler, assorted muffins, hawaiian skewers, and biscuits & gravy. The restaurant should have provided small containers for the condiments for example hot sauce, tarter sauce, and syrup; Perhaps the size that many restaurants use for salad dressing– disposal containers are better than nothing. The staff seemed as though they were being pulled in multiple directions and had no sense of duty or specific tasks. We asked for refills on our drinks(lemonade and sweet tea) several times and waited awhile; actually one person never received a refill. Overall this place needs to get organized, stock up on ample plates and utensils, identify clear responsibilities for the employees, train employees on customer service, and properly staff the restaurant. I also recommend that this restaurant work on food prep to ensure the buffet is properly stocked without running out of items and provide what is advertised. Side note: During my first visit we waited for 45mins to receive our food and we ordered waffles. The aforementioned items really took away from the entire dining experience and I am extremely apprehensive about returning. This is such a shame because this place has potential.

I had the crab stuffed salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and string beans. Food was excellent. Service was slow but I think that was due to the packed crowd for the comedy show. Food and drinks were appropriately priced. My drink, the OTI was a bit heavy on the pour but I tend to like my drinks that way. Wasn’t a fan of the décor but the food more than made up for it. I would definitely come here again.

Good food. Great music. Excellent service. Not what I expected from a hotel bar. This is my boyfriend’s mom’s hang out spot and she decided to let us in on the secret. I’m so glad she did. Our server was an absolute sweetheart: so funny and personable. She made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. I started off with a Cadillac margarita. It was very good, but the glass was a little smaller than I expected. The food was so good. Wings were fried to a crispy golden brown with sauce on the side. The mussles in garlic sauce were plump and delicious. The cornbread was like cake. Mmmmmm… My seafood cobb salad was full of sweet lump crab meat, plump mini scallops and shrimp, chopped tomatoes and egg, blue cheese and a delicious dressing on the side. Boyfriend’s fettuccine alfredo was a generous portion full of large, succulent grilled shrimp. Moms made quick work of her salmon. I looked up and that plate was bare! That’s the sign of a great meal. How we had space for dessert is beyond me, but we decided to share a Messy Sundae. Ok, picture this: large wine glass saturated in chocolate, the outside rolled in crumbled English toffee and the inside full of cool creamy ice cream with chocolate drizzled all over everything! Lord Have Mercy. ProTip: scrape your spoon along the outside of the glass and get some of the chocolate and toffee on your spoon before digging into the ice cream. You’re welcome. I love live music and good venues are getting harder and harder to find(ditto for ones with no cover charge), especially in this area. The band playing during our visit was really good… and they nailed ‘Purple Rain’. I was told that OTI rotates acts often and posts the schedule on their website. Sometimes they even bring in well-known artists(I heard Howard Hewitt was here not too long ago). I don’t normally hang out in PG County. There’s always the risk of some rowdy, pissed-off patrons fighting, lobbing a bottle or shooting up the damn place. That said, the crowd here was totally chill, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ll definitely be back with friends… and I’ll even leave my Kevlar vest in the car. ;)

5 stars for the food. Great place for HH especially if you live in Maryland and don’t want to do the DC parking thing. I live in Alexandria and meet here for my Maryland friends. It’s easy, food is good, and live music. Now, if you want to sashay, look cute, flirt with good looking gents… ehhhh take your bidness somewhere else. This is a low key, you’re not trying to do too much type of choice.

The food is great. I’ve been for brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour. With exception to its awesome food it is your typical Prince George’s county bar/grill/restaurant that tries to cater to a lounge crowd. Unfortunately while doing so it misses the mark with its patrons that are just coming to enjoy the great food. On two occasions for brunch I have had issues with their opening time. Their website says 9am, Google says 11am, but when I knocked on the door I was told by staff 11:30am. This posed a problem for several other patrons who were waiting outside who’d made reservations for 11am. On my visit today, I was again given the run around after waiting for them to open for 45 minutes from 11:00am, only to be told that they will«probably open around 12 or 12:30pm». Definitely embarrassing as I had ranted and raved about this place to friends and family that were visiting. Contacted management and I’ve yet to receive a call back. Very disappointed, especially because I enjoy the opportunity to spend my money within the county. If proper changes with customer service don’t come soon OTI might have the same fate as many other failed lounges of its kind.

I frequent the original location often because it is around a mile from my house. I kept hearing about this new location but didn’t try it until last night. The original is a bit small so the first thing I noticed is how much more space was in this one. The décor and setup was nice enough and they had a live band playing. There was a nice crowd but far from crowded and plenty of space for more people. I point this out to try and explain why I’m only giving 2 stars. The server came promptly and was pleasant enough. The drinks came fairly quickly. We both placed an order for the Cajun chicken pasta. After a while of enjoying our drinks and listening to the band I looked down at my watch because I was hungry and wondering where the food was. 40 minutes had passed. I asked the waitress and she checked and said that it would be out shortly. Another 20 minutes had passed so I inquired to what appeared to be the manager. He went to check and after another 15 minutes the food came out. Pasta in a restaurant that is at less than ½ capacity should not take over an hour. I had heard about this issue but I’m always one to try things myself before judging. This is definitely a serious issue and I would need to know that it’s addressed before returning.

I wasn’t a fan of the Upper Marlboro location for various reasons. However, this location is much better for my taste. The same good food is served in this location as the other. But there is much more room in here! From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and attentive. I would suggest this place for the working class person. If you want to be treated like royalty there are other places. Competes well with places in the area. Staff is friendly, service is on par with places in the area. No complaints.

What a great little spot! Even though it is located in a hotel in Largo, it is still a nice little place to come and enjoy a night out with good music! They had a DJ on the night that we came and the music was old school R&B/rap like back in the day type of stuff… BUT it was great! We were almost tempted to get up and start dancing: D it was a nice way to start the evening! We were seated right away but then again there wasn’t much of a crowd due to them being fairly new still. They have a well-known location in Upper Marlboro where the regulars go, but I wanted to try this location out to see how it was making out so far. Our server was very sweet and had a great personality! We decided to order crab dip to start, and for our entrees, crab stuffed salmon with veggies/mashed potatoes and BBQ ribs with waffle fries /coleslaw. Everything was delicious! The crab dip was the best! It had real lumps of crab on top to mix in! So yummy! They give you pita chips to go with it too & they were delicious; perfectly seasoned. With our food, we had lemonade and I partook in the adult beverages. I had a cosmopolitan and a hurricane. The drinks took forever to make, I meannnnn the bar is super small and there weren’t many patrons in there so what was taking so long?! Hmmm… then when I got my Hurricane, it tasted like straight juice. Where the liquor at mane?! Lol. I ordered a Cosmo right after and it was pretty good, so I simmered down a bit. The ambiance is cute though and the music is great! All in all, I enjoyed my first visit to the Olde Towne Inn’s second location but they need to do some major marketing to get more customers. Also, I would work on the bartender; she should be a bit quicker when getting drinks out. The food was amazing! Great customer service! & The music was awesome! Favs: Crab stuffed salmon & crab dip… Yummy Yummy! Would Change: Work on getting more customers so it can be a fun, full crowd. The bar needs a little help! Serving juice in place of a Hurricane is «no Bueno». :-/
