I think the chicken tenders are awful. My kids wouldn’t even eat them. Yeasts tolls tasted like well, yeast. Will never be going back. Can’t understand these rave reviews!

We recently moved to the area in June and have eaten food from here 3 or 4 times. We usually get a $ 20 junior mixer with a gallon of tea to feed the family. We also love the yeast bread.
There’s lot of fast food chicken places around but so far Golden Chick is our favorite and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

This golden chick has always been fantastic. They are all friendly, fast, and efficient. I’ve bought food at least a couple dozen times through the drive thru, and not once have they messed up my large orders! I would definitely recommend them for a yummy meal cooked perfectly for the family. Comfort food, to be sure!

The golden fried chicken is so good. The roll is so good. The over fried fries? Man I can’t stop eating them! Don’t even mention the free ice cream with purchase. The salt and extra sugar make the ice cream heaven. This was the first fast food restaurant I stepped in since I moved to Texas. How I hope it will be the last one. Fast food in this state is ridiculously good. I don’t think I’ll have any self control if I show up here again.

When you walk in for the first time, you think how good can it be, small and kind of layed out funny. But the food was excellent, I got the three piece fried chicken meal and I hereby demote the colonel to a private. So much better than KFC. More surprises as when I started eating the fries, better than the fries at the fast food hamburger chains.

We have only had the chicken once it was really good we made the mistake of trying the catfish and that is the only thing we ever get now. We really like the catfish. Even if you don’t like fish much you will love their catfish its the best.

This is the best Golden Chick location I’ve ever had!!!
Food is always always hot and fresh, no matter what weird time I go.
Tenders are crispy and crunch and juicy and tender ALL AT THE SAME.
Breading is good with a spicy kick to it.
Rolls are heavenly.
Combos come with tenders, gravy, mashed potatoes or fries, roll, and a drink.
Raising Cane’s got nothing on Golden Chick.

I’ve been coming here for about 10 years. My husband and I have observed, that it’s had the same employees as long as we can remember.
Always good service. Always hot crispy chicken tenders and sweet tea!
Free ice cream in the lobby and fun quarter machine with a chicken that lays a plastic egg. I don’t always let my kids do quarter games but here I do. They aspire to get the coveted «golden egg».
Great place, cheap meal.

I rarely eat chicken but every now and then I get a craving for this place. I always get the same thing — #1 tender combo with mashed potatoes. It comes with 4 tenders, country gravy, a yeast roll, and the mashed potatoes are topped off with a little more country gravy. I usually see the same guy at the drive thru and he is probably the friendliest person I’ve ever seen at a drive thru anywhere. The batter on the tenders is so flaky and delicious, and their yeast rolls are heaven. Top it all off with the mashed potatoes and country gravy and this is one of my favorite quick comfort meals.

Chicken beats bushes any day! Both fried and grilled chicken. One star is missing bc the Mac and cheese isn’t the greatest it’s just okay! Love the corn nuggets too :-) this is what’s for dinner tonight

I just tried this fried chicken place yesterday and they really surprised me. So definitely they deserve a good review! The chicken was very good and fresh, also those yeast rolls were very tasty. If one day you feel like eating some good fried chicken Golden Chick Leander is the place :)

Very yummy frided chicken. And great sweet tea. I always have to wait about 5 – 10 minutes but totally worth it for the hot fresh chicken.

The absolute worst chicken I have ever eaten. The chicken strips were like rubber, very chewing, uneatable, the fries were swimming in grease, disgusting, never eat there again.
