Great stuff! Can’t remember the name of the guy who served me. Told me he had a Ford Expedition though(in conversation– not randomly…) food was fast and hot and the server chatted to me as he was putting my order together. Brought it to my table while I was getting my drink and everything. Checked in from time to time and was all round great! He is an asset to the company!

This bitch named Maria had the worst attitude ever. When asking what the sides were for a certain meal, she gave this most cringe worthy look as if I weren’t speaking English, then said«It’s on the menu sir» with an attitude. When I got fed up with her attitude, I asked if I could speak to the manager, she then pointed to her name tag, although I think she was lying.

I must say that I was disappointed a few days ago when I went to this restaurant. But now I have to change my review I received a call from the manager Liz Gray and she was really consider about how I was treated and I must say it was a genuine consider. She ask me how things could have been different in that situation I told her she states that things will change and she will see that the employees would be spoken to to make sure that this doesn’t happen again at her restaurant. She offered to replace my meal and ask if I was done back to the restaurant. The free meal doesn’t matter to me it’s the fact that my concern was address and rhat she apologized for the incident. That meant a lot knowing that she wasn’t considered about her restaurant but about her customers. Thank you again Liz and I will be returning to your restaurant. KFC is really lucky to have you on their TEAM.

Previously had great experiences here at this KFC, but today explains why they have such a low rating on Unilocal.After standing in line for close to 15 minutes while just one person was being helped — the server and that customer spoke in Spanish(about who knows what) and I was ignored. Then a manager or an assistant manager came out to ask could they assist me. I told her what my order was and she replied«I’m sorry, we’re currently out of that — what»? Are you kidding me? We’re out of biscuits and it’s 12:15 at lunch time and they want to substituted a cookie for it instead! Absolutely no apology by this manager for having seen me wait there as long as I did while the front counter clerk did whatever they did with the ONECUSTOMER! Obviously they couldn’t get their act together and it just shows you the level of(or lack of) service that has continually spiraled downward. By the way, If this is temp help during the holidays — help us all — especially the owner of this KFC who should probably look at these reviews. I was fair in the past but so is this review.

The chicken tastes exactly how it should be coming from KFC. This restaurant is always fairly clean the restroom seem to be stocked. The staff working needs to work on their customer relation skills. When I come in to buy a bucket of chicken for six people I would expect to get the condiments I am asking for and not what they want to give me. This place gets four stars but I’m only giving two because of the staff customer service.

TIGHTWADALERT! STUPIDNEW«POLICY» KFC has now changed their policy to not allow substitutions of their«the just add water mashed potatoes and gravy», with coleslaw or mac n cheese. So every week since they’ve had the fill ups, we as a family have ordered the 3 strip meals because, hey, everyone could get the sides they wanted. No longer. We won’t be going back.

Disappointed on this visit. Busy and understaffed for a rainy dinner rush. Table was dirty, had to wipe it off myself b4 sitting down to eat. Tray was filthy good thing my food was on a plate on the tray. Mashed potatoes where barely warm. Employees were friendly, but as a regular I was not impressed on this visit.

Always great customer service! I love their mashed potatoes and basically come here for them of the $ 5 meal things! The staff it’s really friendly as well. I dig that they are open until 11 :)

I stopped in KFC one day after work to try out their $ 5 fill up meal deal with three chicken strips, a side of mashed potatoes with gravy, a butter milk biscuit, a chocolate chip cookie, and a drink. I did not want a soda, and the iced tea machine was empty, so they gave me a bottle of water( ). The chicken strips were not as good as I have had at other KFC’s. First of all, dryness plagued them from the breading to the all white meat. They just did not have that crispy crunchy texture on the outside that I am so fond of( ). They felt like perhaps they sat under the warming section for to long and were not fried to order. The meat inside tasted good, but it was dry, just to dry to enjoy to its fullest( ). The mashed potatoes were as good as I remember from the last time I’ve eaten them. They were creamy and the gravy had that traditional flavor( ). The biscuit okay. It was slightly buttery, but not as moist as I would of liked( ). It to felt like it had been warming for a while. Service was alright, but not having any iced tea and not willing to make a new batch, put a bummer on this visit, not to mention the dry chicken strips, so yes, I have had better…

They are always out of something! Piss poor planning on their part. Also be sure to taste your soda before you drive off because on several occasions, they weren’t mixed properly and tasted like vinegar.

It’s petty well known that this is the worst KFC in San Diego, if not Southern California, but I’d been gone for a while and forgot. Went through the drive thru and ordered a ten piece meal with two sides. The guy at the window said it would be 10 minutes and asked if we could wait AFTER we had already paid. 32 minutes later, I walked in and was told they were working on it, which was absurd because the place wasn’t even a third full, there was plenty of food already made, and no traffic through the drive thru. I was eventually given my food by an older Asian woman who tried to curse ME out because THEY gave me the merchant copy of the receipt, not the right one. I just left while she started yelling. Stay away from this place!

KFC food is usually good, but the service and the appearence was horrible. There were no lids available considering it was only 11:30 a.m. when I ordered my food(they open at 10:00). Inexcusible. No cup holders. They knew that I order multiple meals but didn’t give me a cup holder until I asked for one. The restaurant itself didn’t look very clean. Pretty awkward considering they have been open for only an hour and a half. KFC, yall has gots to do better, but I still eat the greasy chicken whenever I have another craving for it, maybe just not at this particular location.

I wanted the chicken to be grilled, I was told the chicken would be ready in 7 minutes. I agreed to the minimal amount of time I was told to wait in the parking lot. After 10 minutes had passed I went inside and told my order was not ready. I continued to wait until it was 4:25PM when my order was finally ready. I am really upset that I had to wait 40 minutes for a bucket of chicken. Employees should give realistic estimate waiting times. If the store can not sell the products in an acceptable amount of time I recommend they hire more employees, put more chicken down or discontinue the promotion for the $ 10 bucket of chicken until l they can keep the wait times at a reasonable amount of time. My time is very important to me and I feel that I was robbed an extra 38 minutes of my life because an employee gave me the wrong amount of wait time or there was not enough supply to keep up with the demand. Long wait times = bad customer service = unhappy customers

Now I am not proud of the fact that my first Unilocal review is that on a fast food chain… nor am I happy about the time spent to write this review… it is after all KFC… we’re not talking George’s at the Cove or the Marine Room. I do however, consider it a value if but one of you should just stumble across this and giggle as you take note… STEERCLEAROFHERE. Who doesn’t love a good bucket of KFC chicken right??? Hey every once in a while I do not mind jumping at the wonderful request from my loving wife«honey how about grabbing some chicken… it’s too hot to cook». NOTHEREATTHISLOCATION! Just how hard is it to give your customers what you say you have on your menu. A 12 piece bucket of extra crispy chicken. I didn’t ask for a extra extra extra crispy chicken… nor did I ask for a extra extra crispy chicken… the menu said extra crispy and that’s what I went with, but nope… the third time is not the charm…(and yes folks this is the third time in a year this has happened). «I’m sorry sir… we don’t have that many pieces of extra crispy… you can wait for 20 minutes.» That’s why I went though the Drive-thru at a fast food restaurant… so that I might wait as long for dinner there as I would at a full service restaurant… No matter how many secret ingredients are in their chicken they left out the most basic ingredient in business…“have enough product on hand to please the buyer if you want to stay in business”. Get your Chicken(if you KAN) now because my money is on this company going the way of so many others in our economic down turn… if you can’t do the basics you can’t have my money… Sorry KFC You are now forever AKA… KFCCKANTFIND your CRISPYCHICKEN!

If a cigarette takes 5 minutes off your life, a piece of KFC takes off 2 days. I bought KFC after 11pm last night. I felt extremely guilty and horrible. More like I was buying crack off the street corner than I was buying deep fried fat. When did KFC start charging $ 10 for 6 pieces of chicken? That is straight up robbery. I could buy 6LIVE chickens for that price. The lady was nice and told me of a special that was going on where she would give me ten for the same price. Still as juicy and fatty as I remember when I was a little fat boy. I’ll stick with taco bell to get my late night grubbin on and it will only cost $.89!

So to say the least, we all know how Oprah paid for the entire country to have a grilled chicken KFC dinner on her, right? Not so, I still have yet to get a response from my rain check that I mailed off with my VALID coupon that I printed from my computer over 1 month and a half ago(4 days before the dead line of May 19th). I went to this KFC on Broadway in Lemon Grove and for starters there was a huge sign on the door stating that, «At this time we are unable to honor the free grilled chicken meals. Please come in for an application to receive your free meal at a later time» This was just the next day after I watched the Oprah show and saw the President of KFC apologizing to everyone for not getting their meals. And then he offering to add a drink to the coupon because of the inconvenience. So I decided, what the heck. I go inside and there were only 2 customers inside and one of them was at the register complaining to an employee about the«Free grilled chicken meal» coupon. Apparently, the employee had told the customer that the coupon was no longer valid and that she had to mail her coupon in. «No problem» I say. So I ask another employee to please provide me with an application so that I could do the same. So to make a long story short. The reason why I gave this KFC specifically a 1 star was because of the attitude of the employee that was assisting the customer ahead of me. She was very rude and kept cutting the customer short of speaking. She stated that the whole thing with the coupons was overwhelming and that they could not keep up with the supply. Which was a bunch of bull because sitting right on the grill behind her was about 50 pounds of grilled chicken just sitting there simmering under the heated lamp. Not to mention again that there were no customers in the drive thru nor in the restaurant. Shame on you KFC in Lemon Grove!!! Free meal or not, I will never eat dinner at your location.
