Born and raised on Kaua’i, this is one of my first stops when visiting home. Service is always good, sweet Chinese lady always smiling. Lemon chicken and egg fu yung are my favorites, daily specials never disappoint.

For as long as my husband and I have been together(since 2008), Ho’s has always been a must whenever we go back to Kauai. It’s one of my in-law’s favorites and we always take-out food from here. Our favorite is the char-siu chow fun, lemon chicken, pork stuffed eggplant, and beef tomato. We have yet to find another Chinese place that makes their chow fun like Ho’s.

This was the worst food I have ever had! First bite had a small bone, the second bite had another. When I started picking through my plate, it looked like they took the whole chicken and chopped it up bones and all. Do not eat here.

Didn’t care for it at all. Lemon chicken was so deep fried I couldn’t even eat it. Fried rice also poor. Sorry.

Very disappointing. I’ve lived on Kauai for years and never went but was at the mall and choose to find lunch and ended up here. The food was terrible. No flavor, the duck was chopped with bones included so I kept picking the bones out of my mouth. The sauce tasted like thickened wall paper paste. Even dousing the food with soy sauce I couldn’t get it to taste of anything. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Every Time I’m back on Kauai this place is a must visit. I grew up eating here and their lemon chicken is by far the best I’ve tasted ever. Service is always friendly, and there is a large selection buffet line for quick to go plate lunches or a dine in menu. The price is great too, competitive but not too expensive, and the portions here are huge.

Not the best service but what do you expect from a pick and choose plate lunch place? The lemon chicken and fried rice is what I crave for!

Really good authentic chinese food. Not a ton of selection but they cook and get food out fast. The food wasn’t for me but my husband loved it. He had the shrimp chow mien and then my lemon chicken. The lemon chicken is dark meat, but make sure you dont get prices that are dried out. If you want authentic Chinese then this is a good start.

One of the best places to get chinese food on kauai. Must try their lemon chicken, their well known for that. Pork stuffed eggplant is also good. Always gives big portions.

Good food, clean, fast and cheap. A combination that can not be beat. Great fried rice, soya chicken(soy sauce braised chicken) and beef with broccoli all good.

I’ve been going to Ho’s Restaurant since I was a little kid. Even before they were at this location. My favorite dish is the sum see min cake noodles. I hate sharing. We also eat the pork hash, stuffed eggplant and crispy chicken. All faves. Family run and owned and they are so friendly. They know us because we have been going there for years and treat us kindly. I go there every time I am at home. Noodles! MMM!

Plates run from $ 7-$ 12 What they are known for– Their huge portions! Ginger Chicken Stuffed Plant Lemon Chicken Fried Rice Noodles They offer an array of chinese yummies– quick and easy! Perfect place to go for a chinese quick fix.
