Ordered pizza online for delivery, 1 ½ hours later still no pizza. I call no answer. I call again no answer. I double check my order, yes I ordered from the right Marcos & already paid. Was thinking did they go out of business? That’s messed up if they still are taking orders & $ if they are closed. I decide to take a drive & check. When I pulled up I thought they are closed all of their neon lights are off, but then I saw someone in the place. I walk in one employee is super busy talking on his cell phone & refuses to make eye contact. Then another employee appears from the back & asks me how am I doing? I tell her not very good I ordered & paid for a pizza over 2 hrs ago, she asks me what my name was & tells me they have a problem with their online orders & the delivery comes up as pick up. I say I have been trying to call for ½ hour, she says oh Ya we are behind so we aren’t answering the phone & we are almost out of cheese too. I could tell this was a loosing battle so when she asks would you like us to make your pizza now? I just shook my head & said no I would just like my $ back. The real kicker came when I explained this to my wife & she reminded me that this wasn’t the 1st time this happened & last time she never got a refund from Marcos. Never again Marcos!

Karma is a great part of the Universe. They are out of business now. Just what I knew was going to happen for the best of all. Peace Out!

Keep trying to make an order, but they are either closed or not answering the phone. Drove by there Wednesday at 7PM and it was all locked up. It’s almost 3PM on Friday, now. And they are not answering the phone. Have they close down for good?

I too had a very bad experience this past weekend! We have ordered many times from Marcos pizza on Holmes St. in Livermore and always had it delivered. Friday night I had relatives over due to a death in the family and thought pizza sounded like a great quick and easy dinner to serve. I went online like I always have, ordered 2 extra large pizza’s and gave a generous 18 percent tip. I even intended to give a little more when the order arrived as I know these delivery guys work hard and can use the extra cash. Unfortunately our pizza’s never arrived. I ordered them at 6:40pm and received an immediate email response. Here is what it said: ” Marco’s cannot alter the amount authorized on your credit card for changes to your order or to add a tip for your driver. If you would like to give your driver a tip when your order arrives, they may accept a cash tip”. Clearly my pizza was being delivered! Wrong! By 8:00 pm, I started calling Marco’s to see where the delivery guy was. No answer! I called again and again and never an answer. I let the phone ring over 30 times once! No answer. At this point, no one could drive over without risking a DUI. No food with wine – no one was going anywhere! I managed to make taco’s using day old food and it was devoured within minutes. By 10pm, I realized the pizza would not be coming. The next day my husband and I drove down to the pizza shop with my email to explain what had happened. We showed up at 11 am but they weren’t open. Instead there was a time change on the time card that crossed out 11am and wrote in 3pm. We returned at 3pm. The manager seemed to understand the situation and offered to credit the money back to my credit card but said because it was the weekend she couldn’t do anything about it until Monday. We went home and immediately the phone rang. It was her and she was telling me that her records showed I ordered the pizza to come down and pick it up. I told her I had just showed her the email that clearly stated the driver would be delivering the pizza to our house. She then told me that she didn’t know what I was talking about because they don’t send an email. I reminded her that I had just been in her store and showed her the email. She said she would take care of it with the credit card company. Well apparently she didn’t do this because this morning when I went online to check my statement, the charge had gone through. It looks like we are out over $ 60. and we received nothing for it. NOPIZZA! This really is a sad business. I feel like I was completely taken and now I am out over $ 60. I will never ever order a pizza from Marco’s pizza again – no matter who takes over when this business closes. Be wary of ordering! Like us, you may not ever get your pizza; instead you’ll just help them pay their bills until they close down.

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. We ordered two medium pizzas using their online ordering system last night(Saturday night). At the end of the order it gave me a receipt that said it was a «Take Out» order, but then went on to give information about tipping their driver. I was unclear if it went through as a take out or delivery order, so I called them. After the fourth time calling, someone finally answered only to tell me they are closing up for the night and have no order. Keep in mind this is 7pm on a Saturday night. Then after they shout back and forth at each other they realize that they have four online orders still open on another computer. Then the guy tells me I need to come in tomorrow to get a refund. After coming in today, and getting my money back, in cash because they don’t know how to put it back on my credit card, they go on to tell me they are going out of business… SHOCKING.

This pains me to say it, but we’re done with Marco’s. While the pizza was never outstanding, it was a good value with excellent service and delivery. Not sure what has happened but the last 3 orders have been an ordeal. The online ordering doesn’t work, nobody answers the phone, they lose your order. When the pizza does arrive over an hour later it’s cold. Oh well, good bye Marco’s.

Great environment. Small, but welcoming. Not a place to sit and eat. Chill people making pizza. Who can ask for more.

Good Pizza & excellent bread sticks! The pizza takes longer than expected but it was worth it. The staff are a little slow but they do a fine job. When I was there it seemed as if they were having a lot of trouble with their delivery system. They need to hire more staff asap. Don’t really know how clean this place is but the food in general was pretty good.

Never again. Not only did they get my order wrong even with 2 phone calls to clarify, staff in the store are the worst. Blaring heavy metal music and a beanie-clad pizza maker yelling derogatory comments to the young cashier are too much to take. It’s a party — for the staff. Won’t go into what other patrons were experiencing, but will say it was bad. Staff had excuse after excuse — and all started with«It’s not my fault». I’ve always said«Pizza so bad your kids will love it». I’ll find another bad pizza for my kids to love. P. S. Don’t try giving me a coupon to make up for my horrible experience. Listen, learn, fix, then try again.

Initially a good choice for pizza. However, since October ’14 the quality has gone done hill and the service with it. Delivery times, when you can get them to answer the phone, have gone from 30 minutes to over an hour. The amount of toppings put on a pizza has declined which is good since the quality of said toppings has also declined. The staff has a difficult time placing orders and applying coupons, but again this only happens on the rare occurrence that they ever answer the phone. Overall, I would recommend another option before entertaining Marco’s.

Okay, so won’t do that again! Ordered online and had a pickup time of 6:20 pm, arrived at 6:20 pm and waited nearly an hour! Because I had ordered online I was kinda stuck since I paid via credit card and no one seemed very concerned that the pizzas were not even made. No adults, seemed to be a bunch of teenagers and very arrogant. Haven’t been here in a while and can say I will never do Marcos again. Super embarrassed as we had company for dinner! Wow how this place stays in business with this level of service surprises me.

Ive had pretty good experience here thus far. Personally I think they have yummy pizza. Ive only had cheese and pepperoni. Theres alot of cheese on the pizza which I like. The dough is perfect, not too thick or thin. Ive also had their breadsticks and cinnamon sticks. Both super good. the breadsticks taste just like the dough in the pizza so it doesnt make sense to get both at same time. The only thing I say they can improve on is to hire more people. The times ive gone they always seem super busy and there seem to be not enough workers that the workers themselves seem overwhelmed. Other than that, luckily I live across from them so ill definitely be coming back again: D

Horrible service, my order doesnt matter, going to Roundtable forever now… so much for something different. Delivery never showed up, and I gave them 3 hours notice… Totally suck. Julie the«General Manager» clueless what a terrible no good eatery, that I would avoid.

Good idea. Hire a lady to answer the phones and take pizza orders… who can’t figure out how to apply a coupon… for Sunday night football. I eventually just hung up. I only buy this pizza because it is cheap with coupons. I’m going to start looking elsewhere.

This place is all around bad. Pizza is expensive — $ 65 for 3 large pizzas. Worse yet it tastes very mediocre, and the crust sucks. Even worse — I live right down the street and delivery took over an hour. I hope this place closes so something better goes in.

Worst experience ever. I ordered online. Two hours later, still no pizza. It was the middle of the week. Only after blasting them on social media, someone called me 3 hours later saying they were closed for a couple days. So my card was charged for pizza I never received. I had two starving children that rained a small piece of hell on me because at 7pm, you can hardly start that process over again with a different company. It’s now been a week later, and those crooks still haven’t given me my refund!

Meh pizza. Last order was really late. Management wouldn’t replace the order. They still owe me money and I refuse to go back at this point.

Wow. Never had this pizza before, but the party venue for my son’s birthday recommended delivery from them. I wanted to order 15 large pizzas and tried to do it online. Then I tried to apply the Unilocal deal I had purchased. Wouldn’t accept it. So I tried the Groupon I had purchased. Wouldn’t accept it either. So I waited until they opened and called. I explained what I wanted to do. I was given a total price that was $ 30 more than the online total, even AFTER they took off $ 60! I was like, hm, that doesn’t seem fair, can you help me out here? The woman put on her manager, who was, in a nutshell, a jerk. He said they have nothing to do with Groupon or Unilocal and they can’t help me. He was then silent, and I assumed he was checking on something. Apparently, he just put the phone down. I waited, and waited. Every couple of minutes I said: «hello? Are you still there?» and all I heard was background noise. Finally, I hung up the phone and got a friendly and helpful person at Domino’s and set up my order. Now I’m off to get a refund on those Unilocal and Groupon deals! Lame!

This place used to be better. The first year or so they opened, the food was awesome and the staff was so enthusiastic. None of the original people(mainly local high school kids) are still there, which I guess is understandable. And the guy in the suit jacket, I’m guessing it’s the owner, is really weird. He just kind of wanders around and looks over everyone’s shoulder. Isn’t that what managers are for?
