We eat at this location about once a week, sometimes more. The staff are fantastic. They’re friendly and quick, and with our frequent visits they seem to have gotten to know us a little. Call ahead works well if you’re short on time. In all, great location, great food, and great service.

Meh. I’ve experienced better… Sandwiches were fine, pretty much what you’d expect from a small sandwich shop. No complaints there. Staff lackluster, I think they just wanted to go home. Music was so loud I was unable to hear the employee who was making my sandwich. Building is in need of an overhaul.

I have been calling since 12 noon to place an order for pick up when I came to the restaurant to let them know their line has been busy for 30 minutes their response was we have the phone off the hook because we’re busy

Love the sandwiches. Lots of meat … I would say roughly three times what you get on a Togos sandwich and eight or nine times what that joke of a sandwich chain, Subway tries to pawn off on a sandwich. The only thing I don’t like is the place comes off as a «company store.» Yes, I know it is a franchise and it shows. It seems kinda stark and corporate in there – but since the sandwiches are the bomb(for roughly the same price as the other guys) I can deal with it.

Love these guys! The are fast, efficient and rarely make a mistake! If they do they politely accept the mistake and their correction goes beyond expectation. Their food is fresh and make the best authentic Dutch crunch bread around. If you get a chance and want a nice sandwich or sandwich combo head to Mr Pickles!

Fast service, delicious sandwich and a free cookie! Can’t beat it. I got the chicken ranch sandwich and loved it.

I would give 4 stars for the food but whenever I order with my bf, they make one sandwich at a time(other sandwich places I go to make both at the same time) so it’s really slow. They also serve people who rudely cut in front of you, and don’t even apologize to you for the mistake or try to correct it by telling them that they cut in line. I’ll update my review when they tell people who cut in front that someone else was waiting in line, or if they actually act like they care. I’m not even standing far away or looking at the menu when this happens. I’m standing there, unmistakably in line, ready to order, boyfriend asking across the room if I ordered yet, and my saying across no, this woman cut in front of me, and gestured towards her. Staff don’t even look or care. If this continues to become a pattern I will tell my group I want to eat elsewhere for our weekly outings. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

I am not lying when I tell you I dream of this place. My first stop when I come into Livermore is Mr. Pickles. I’ve been around the world* and I have yet to find a better sandwich than one from Mr. Pickles! The service is divine, especially this one lovely gal named Cassandra or Cassie I believe is what she goes by. SHEIS A DOLL! Highly recommend, 10/10, two thumbs up, etc Stay golden Mr. Picks I love you *slight exaggeration but I’ve been to a lot of places in California and like 3 other states

Seen this place has been around for awhile. Wife and son like it so I tried ordering an Italian on french bread. Disappointed with size/portion of sandwiches, seems small for cost. Gave another chance and ordered a Pastrami on Rye. Taste of Pastrami was OK, Rye was fresh. If I had a choice, I like Togos pastrami and portions better.

I had never stopped in and had a sandwich from a Mr. Pickles anywhere. A few weeks ago I did and now I wish they had one close to me in San Leandro. Great fresh ingredients. Good amount of meat to bread ratio. The sandwich was a good size. Wasn’t to small, wasn’t to big. All for a great price. This place is better than Togo’s and Subway hands down!

«Mr. Pickles» is not for the stuck-up Forbes crowd, but you knew that. It’s for people who want a big, chunky sandwich where the skin of the meat nearly falls off. You think you can get this just about anywhere. But wrong. WRRRRRRONG! Because you can’t get sandwich and fixings on DUTCHCRUNCHROLLS just anywhere. What’s with the Dutch Crunch, you ask? Now that thing is a crunchy piece of Netherlands style bread with a speckled exterior that hits you hard like a lisp you can’t control, but with a squishy and doughy interior. I’ll give you another definition: The fat man who eats a Dutch Crunch also eats pretzels burgers for sport. They got some other breads, none generic in taste: Sourdough, Sweet Roll, Sliced Wheat, Marble Rye. When I came, there was a Porsche parked outside. But let’s get our heads on straight. Whoever came in the Porsche was not some super human specimen. You’re not going to meet a supermodel or even your next wife in here. If you can live with that, you might just chomp away like a lion in here. #likereally

This is a pretty good sandwich store, their meat was really yummy and they gave a good amount of everything in their sandwiches! My man friend got the spicy melt(bird) I got #6. It was really good and the sauces in the sandwiches tasted great. They were really fast and I really liked this little place in Livermore. Seems so homey and friendly. Also they gave out cookies along with our sandwiches which I thought was very cute.

Good combinations on their sandwiches, generally seem like decent deli meats and good bread. Quantity is about right for the price. –1 star because it smells like death inside this particular one. –A minus, but not starworthy is that their bread is like 500 calories and counted separately from the contents, so when looking at the menu keep in mind that«450 calories» really means 950 calories. Plus the cookie :)

Placed an order 1 hour and 45 minutes in advance and they hadn’t even started it when I arrived. Wasn’t a large order either, just two sandwiches. Finally got my food AFTER everybody else who was standing in line when I got there. If the service is the same as just dropping in, what’s the point of having online ordering? Ordered the Hot-T, but they didn’t include the cranberry sauce that’s supposed to come with it, so I just paid 7.50 for a standard turkey sandwich. I’ve been to many Mr. Pickles locations before and they are usually 4 – 5 star worthy visits, but this particular location was pretty terrible start to finish. On-line ordering is pointless here, the service is poor, and they didn’t get the order right. Their sandwiches are typically good(provided they make them right), but I would not recommend the Livermore location.

Ah Mr. Pickles… what to say? Better than a togos and a subway… but not quite on the level of an artisan sandwich shop. Definitely a good choice when you’re hankering for a sandwich, and I mean who doesn’t appreciate a fresh cookie just for picking up something for lunch. Service is awesome, ingredients seem fresh, and there’s some good combinations here. Stop by if you’re in the area, and want a deli type sandwich for lunch!

hungry brought me here. sammie seem pricier than union city by a $!. whatever 4 sammie makers, 1 cashier. in and out in minutes. eats: club(7.99) mostly white turkey, lettuce, tomates on dutch crunch –forget club is layered with«toast», passed when reminded of it. –also passed on posted condiments(mustard, mayo, etc.) –choose turkey cuz i wanted to avoid processed meats. –initially club tasted dry but not so at the end,(lettuce moisture?) crumbs: –opinion changed re: Pickles. they have more meat than the italian places –need to study menu more. –fast, friendly service 3.5 stars for good value, fulfilling.

I like this place. Compare to Ike’s sandwiches, they are very similar. The size of the sandwiches are similar. The prices are similar. They are good sandwiches. Have to go early, because the line can get long. Rating: Food: 4 Price: 3 Service: 3 Overall: 3.5 Big difference between the two: Ike does present an unique sandwiches with unique favors and tastes, Pickle’s is just general but delicious sandwiches.

Stopped by here with some friends before we went wine tasting in Livermore. We were greeted very warmly by the staff and the line moved very quickly as we ordered or sammies. I ordered the Manhattan on french, one of my friends ordered the Turkey Tom on Dutch Crunch and my other friend ordered the Italian on french and they told us they’d bring our sammies to us. I was quite impressed that no sooner we sat-down outside, that our sammies showed-up as promised. The sammies were really good and there was a solid amount of meat and produce on them. Service was very good and I’m so glad we gave Mr. Pickles a shot. I’d definitely come back.

I’m sorry ‘S’ and ‘Q’. I’ve found a new sammie in town and won’t have room in my tummy for you any more. After working in the yard all morning we were starving. I’d never been to Mr. Pickles before but thought it sounded wonderful. Braving the crowds of boot and stetson wearing rodeo clowns and the heat we found a seat and perused the huge menu. I opted for the Very Vegi on Marbled Rye with everything and Jerry picked the Tom Turkey on Wheat. Even as hungry as we were neither one of us could finish our sammies. Probably shouldn’t have ordered that giant pickle. Hehehe… c’mon you can’t go to Mr. Pickles and not get one! They have a ton of beverages to choose from in the fridge. They also gave us a chocolate chip cookie with each order. The service is very friendly and fast. I heard each customer acknowledged and greeted as they came in and boy were those hungry cowboy fans streaming in. There is seating inside and out on the patio. Sometimes they even provide entertainment from the dancing pickle! Watch out in the parking lot though as it is small and in large demand.
