Avoid. Sloppy kid staff lack of skills cooking on the grill makes for unreliable results. And its OVERPRICED. To be fair, i gave this place several chances. A few times the food was good, other times, meat was under cooked, bun burnt, fries overdone, soda too syrupy. They get super busy and the wait can be long. Again the kid staff is more concerned about socializing than wiping down tables. Dont believe me? Try going here on a Saturday and youll become a germo-a-phobe. This place has potential if they quit letting employees ruin it

Everyone knows that this is the best burgers and shakes in town. What everyone seems to forget about is the great breakfasts, handmade jams and jellies, fresh baked goods, and fresh eggs for sale. Wonderful family-friendly restaurant with great food, service, and locally owned. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. My favorite shake is the snickerdoodle. When you support this place, you support the local owners and the local kids that work here while getting a hearty quality meal. Highly recommended.

Just waited 20 plus minutes for a burger that resembled a hockey puck(cooked to death) and had nothing but lettuce on it for some reason. Line was so long I couldn’t get it replaced. This place is normally good but totally off on this order!

Ambiance ! Hometown joint with nice kids working the kitchen and front counter .the shakes are great ! The burger and fries are pretty good — not the most amazing of anything I have ever had but pretty consistent which is nice… and good — just not great… on a day with the kids it really is a treat to come in and grab a bite — a real American drive in style place — authentic …

We were going to go to the Ugly Mug but some douche bag in an Acura was taking up two parking spaces and it was the last two spaces. Saved ourselves the hastle and the wait and went to Taylor’s instead. Great service, great food and probably spent half the money.

BLUF: overpriced. Good shakes. All else so so. My narrative: Stopped here while traveling with my family. Thought it would be better than a typical chain restaurant. Unilocal suggests one $ dollar sign — should be 2 $$. Breakdown: — it’s a milkshake place. Shakes are good. — burgers come a bit burnt. Ok if you like crunchy beef. I don’t. — Reuben was good. — price is relatively high. Spent $ 40 for about $ 25 worth of food. — restroom is nasty. Bad idea if you have kids or are not a dude strictly seeking a place to execute number 1. Conclusion: Might grab a shake here to go. Never will sit down for a meal again. In-n-out is a better call to feed the fam.

We were tired of all the same chain restaurants so changed it up and came here. We got here at the perfect time before it got really busy. Great service, great food, and great shakes. We got the chocolate covered cherry and the Cookie Monster!

I haven’t even got my food yet but I’m only going to give one star. I don’t care how good it tastes because it’s been 20 minutes and there is a half a dozen employees standing around talking the whole time and my food is still not here. more staff than customers. 30 min to get a cheese burger it better be the best ever b/c the staff has been i an apparent meeting for 10 minutes. 1st and last time here.

Love this place. Best burger joint in the area. I drive from woodland just to get the double bacon cheeseburger and pb Twix shake. Only thing is that it can get pricey, but if you want cheap shitty food go to mcdonalds. You pay for quality and this place has it

Me and my buddies always stop here after leaving Newcastle. Experience with customer service is great. I love their bacon Swiss cheese burger and the chocolate peanut butter milkshake. Can’t pass this place up!

This place is amazing! Best burger for your buck! Fries, onion rings and shakes are good too. They have more shake options than anyone else. Little old ma and pop place. We come here all the time!

Food is great, so many milkshakes to choose from. But on my last two visits, I had experienced bad customer service by the same employee. Not sure if she was having a bad month or didn’t want a summer job. Regardless of how she was feeling, she was rude, rolled her eyes, gave dirty looks when we had walked in, throw our order at another employee and told them to do it, and gave a nasty remark when asked how long it will take. No one likes giving bad reviews especially me, but I go here often and to receive bad cs makes you not want to come back

My friend and I came here based on the referral for the huge variety of milkshakes. When we arrived the inside and outside of the location was very busy with patrons. I was undecided as to which milkshake I wanted I had chosen Cotton Candy and they said it was unavailable. I was caught off guard and didn’t know what else to choose as there was a line behind me and I was rushed. I was recommended a pumpkin shake which was overwhelming in flavor. I won’t order again. I did order a chicken strip basket for my food which was comparable to any other I’ve had before in flavor but for $ 4.99 to only get 2 ½ strips was a bit of a rip off. I also ordered the onion rings, the batter was fantastic but for how big the basket was I only got a few rings. It was a but over priced for the amount I got.

I dont give many fives but they deserve it. It was husbands choice for a new place to try based on Good Day Sacramentos segment some time ago. It is in the middle of Loomis. You walk in and immediately see the array of milkshake flavors, wow! The food menu is also quite varied. We got burgers, fries, onion rings and of course milkshakes! The milkshakes are made within minutes while the food took 10 – 15 mins. The burger was not the best I have ever had but they were good. They reminded of an old fashioned hamburger I got as a kid before fast food was on every corner. The fries were good and not over cooked. Onion rings were whole and fresh. Now the milkshakes, OY. YUMMY! Real ice cream with lots of flavor. One size 20oz. Got chocolate peanut butter and my husband had blackberry banana with real fruit inside. We cant wait to go back and try other flavors. Friendly staff with some hard working teenagers. There is a tip jar labled college fund. I liked that. Inside is small but very clean. Lots of outside seating. Great place to come on a summer night. I like the good hometown atmosphere. It made me smile. Only thing I wish they had was a paper take home menu so I can make a less hurried decision the next time for for take out. Definitely coming back!

Small little shack for a good old hamburger and shake. The options for the milkshakes are absolutely endless at Taylor’s and I was in absolute awe of how many shakes they could make! As my fellow Unilocalers have mentioned, 160 kinds of milkshakes to choose from! They probably have all the flavors in the world that one can dream of. They are so fast at making it and the shakes are AWESOME!!! As for the hamburgers, nothing special and nothing that I haven’t tasted before. But they do make some mean fresh chips that they call, Taylor’s chips! The seasoning on the chips are perfect and they came out piping hot! Would definitely come back for the milkshakes and chips!

Great cheeseburger, amazing fries, and the first time in a long time that a burger has tasted this fresh. We live a town over but will definitely be coming back! They have a ridiculous selection of milkshakes. We didn’t try any this visit but will have to next time.

The shakes, ice cream, & sundaes are great. The food isn’t as good as it could be & very pricey for what you get. Kinda disappointed in my patty melt & the Reuben sandwich we ordered, they were very small, not remarkable on flavor, and were $ 6.50 ea. definitely would go back for the ice cream… not so much for the food.

I had a fantastic time here, but it was very very short lived; as I was swiping my card, my shake was handed to me. My total time in there was maybe 3 mins. I can see that it could get busy really fast. And with limited parking and seating, it could easily become a hassle if you wanted to grab a quick shake to go. I just happened to go at a slow time. Parking, poor. Bathroom, like a gas station. But, great!

Wow I did not know this place was here in Loomis Thanks to Unilocal. We wanted to check out the menu of shakes which you will see on the wall as you walk in. It’s a little cozy place with lots of parking some outside seating. What to choose? All the flavors looked interesting, but I went for the coconut pineapple and added banana. The shakes come in one size only, very thick and sip-able with a straw. The staff was cool and our pancake combo breakfast filled us up. Note they do not cook to order eggs if you wanted over easy, it’s scrambled. We will return soon for a POG Shake
